Atlantis Las Lomas Apartments

Rooms very basic, good size, but could be doing with some decoration. If you are given room 117 - ask for another room! Bathroom really smelly, smell it as soon as you open the door. Room was not cleaned for arrival - only beds and towels changed - had to ask them to send a cleaner up. Had cockroaches every day! Shower head was cracked. My family were in the 2 rooms next door, otherwise I would have asked to be moved. Their rooms were slightly better than ours. Pool area would be nice if the fountains were working - but they don't work. Sunbeds are a joke! No-where near enough beds to go round. Can't fault staff, always very pleasant - Daniel, childrens entertainer is excellant. Good location for beach etc.

We travelled to atlantis 13-27/07/11 with 2 adults 4 children age 2,5,10 and 15 and everyone had a fab time, the hotel is in a great location for the beach,bars,shops,restraunts etc,cardiac hill is steep but our children sprinted up it every night no problem and never complained.Daniel the entertainment guy is truely a LEGEND and works tirelessly day and night to keep adults and kids entertained ,his clown show is worth a watch,also cocktail night,birds of pray and reptile show all come recommended.Our 2 bed apartment was lovely and roomy,very clean and had all you need,kettle,toaster,microwave,balcony with patio set,drying rack for towels,we asked for high floor and never came across any cockroaches.It was cleaned almost every day with towels changed,the beds were a bit hard but never bothered the kids.We have never stayed anywhere where the pools are so clean,every day the pool man cleans all 5 pools,removes grids to clean and scrubs all round the sides,our only problem was all the bigger pools are very deep starting at 1.40 metres some are as deep as 2.20 which for our middle children who are just learning to swim ment armbands were a must as even the shallow parts were too deep.Eating out was very reasonable and we never paid more then 45 euros for all six of us including drinks and icecream,would definatly recommend chinese dragon at bottom of cardiac hill but bargin with them we got two kids free every time and its all you can eat for 6.95 and 4.50 for kids including icecream,also sunset beach is good,cantina mexican was lovely but mainly atlantis night bar was really good,kids meals only 2.50 and gorgeous pizza's for 4.50,also nice steaks etc at good prices.We will definatly be returning hopefully next year,great value for money and very clean.

we stayed at the atlantis the last week in feb apts were clean and well kept staff were very friendly the bar man ivan was great fun and made you very welcome the hotel is in a great location close to all the night life food and drink prices are very good value in the atlantis overall this hotel is good value for money and needless to say we will be back again only thing in feb its cold at night you need a coat going out but very hot during the day... my only complaint is we should have stayed for two weeks instead of one.

We stayed in these apartments for a week they were very basic but quite spacious and clean,however what i find strange is there is no mirror or dressing table in the bedroom so when you wash your hair you have to dry it in the bathroom and no one else can use the bathroom while you are in there.I also found the pillows most uncomfortable they would give one a bad neck.I thought the location was good and the staff were friendly.

fantastic holiday stayed here 3 times and booked agian for next july for a month .pools are fab staff are lovely even the maintenance men and cleaners.daniel is lovely with children and adults .. these apartments are only 2 star rated they should be at least 3 the apartments themselves are only basic but clean.give them a go you wont be disappointed.

we found the las lomas great ,ya u have the hill but that wouldnt stop me goen back.very friendly staff ,food is good ,its clean and bright looking ,you have all u need n ur apartment ,lots of pools ,even the maintance men r friendly ,couldnt fault this hotel ,we were there for 8 nites from 24th june till 2ed july 2010 ,best holiday ever and hope to return next year ,

All of the family really enjoyed our stay here at the Atlantis Los Lomas, we have just returned after spending paddys week here.The Comples is very family friendly.The staff especially Danielle were great and very friendly. Food and drink of very good quality and resonably priced. Apartments very roomy. our two bed apart. was big enough to fit another few and still leave loads of space.Would recommend it and will return.Also on Paddys Day there was a parade along the prom. Oh one small drawback Cardiac Hill !!! but taxis are so cheap. Would recommend walk down ,beach 5 mins ,get a cab back.Also all barts and resturants on your doorstep.

just arrived back from lanzarote hotel was nice after reading other reveiws wasnt sure what to expect however as far as people saying about robberies and cockcroaches in the hotel the only thing we seen was 2 cockcroaches in 2 weeks . its a lovely hotel with nice clean pools cleaned every day before it opens at 10 am we then had the usually rush for sunbeds on our 1st week but by the 2nd week it was great they are plenty of beds so not sure why poeple still take beds at 10 and not use them till 4 its very annoying and i must say not a german in sight!!!!! onto the rooms very basic but clean and everything you need toaster kettle fridge and microwave and a 2 ring hob, however the beds are not very nice after 2 weeks on them you ll understand. staff around the hotel are great espically daniel with the kids he learns all their names and he has endless enrgy with them thanks daniel x when you go out of the hotel and walk down cardiac hill you ll think not to bad but after a few days up and down to beach and bars ect its a killer and very well named cardiac hill we had a toddler in a pushchair and not easy how ever if you walk further along and walk up past the irish viking and turn left at the spar this hill not quite as steep. 1 thing on a night is the poeple on the front all trying to get you in too eat its vey annoying but this happens in most places. we did a couple of trips but booked along the front as cheaper than tour operator the rancho texas park( zoo ) was a really good day for the kids but get a taxis about 5 euros from hotel and pay on the door as much cheaper also the bbq night at the texas ranch was expensive but worth it everything included all night soft drinks for kids beer and sangrea for the bigger kids book this ticket only along the front and get a taxis from hotel plenty of taxis outside when night is finished . overall i would go back once my little one is older and i don t have to push the buggie up and down cardiac hill !!!!

the apartments were good,had everything you needed in the kitchen,cleaners were in every other day with sheets and towels.pools were cleaned daily.very friendly staff.little bar on site with entertainment,ie karoke,clown act,reptiles come in for a few hours.Two shops close to apartment, these are very expensive£3 for tin of beans look for the spar shops, quite a bit cheaper.Food may seem reasonable but drinks cost you.went to chinese buffet called dragon, horrible dont go there.the beach is lovely try not to wear white in the sea cause of the dark sand.worth going to volcano express very good.people say about cardiac hill to go to beach,its not bad at all.there is a line dancing excursion,mexican night,not that good.glass bottom boat is cheap and takes a few hours up,quite good.very good full cooked breakfast we had as brunch,tea,coffee and fresh juice massive meal for two eros,fifty this is called tex mex i think.water park good,sneak your food and drink in.children are classed as adults at the age of twelve everywhere.hope this helps enjoy from bridge

When we got to our appartment our first impression wasnt good. The appartments are very basic. After the first couple of hours round the pool you realise that they are not that bad because you dont spend long enough in them. We did have a really good room in the Atlantis bit right near the pool. The downside of that was that we backed onto a main road and it was very noisy at night time. The worse was when the binmen came round at between 3&4 in the morning. Daniel the hotel entertainer was a jack of all trades. He worked tirelessley from morning to night, he was brilliant with the kids. Some of the entertainment in the bar area could have been better. The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Walking up cardiac hill got harder towards the end of our 14 nights stay because we had a buggy. One place to try if you are going would be The Toby Jug. They do buy on meal get one free! The choice was a bit limited but the food was very tasty and we ended up going back there all the time. Got really fed up with people trying to entice you into different bars and restaurants. Even though the appartments could do with a facelift we would definately not hesitate to go back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
