Days Inn Convention Hotel

The Staff was very nice, but we booked through a resort and they didn't give us what we paid for. We spoke to the staff at the inn but they told us to talk to the resort for this was the room they booked for us. We tried to speak to someone at the resort but to no avail. We came home a day early and will try to get someones ear to let them know they did us poorly. Larry & Jeri from Georgia

poor accomadations, poor transportation to sea world. hotel located only 3 blocks from sea world; however, it took the driver almost an hour to get their by way of 5 other hotels, the bus (if ever inspected by the DOT) would not of passed safety. Shocks on bus were soooooo bad, that you thought it may roll over at every turn the driver made, not to mention (if the driver spoke english) his tail gateing of other vehicles.

My friend and I just got back from a two day stay at this hotel. The first room we were in smelled like mildew and mold..if I wanted to stay in that kind of enviorment I would have slept in a sewer,and the carpet was wet which was quite disturbing. So we went to the front desk and they put us in a room on the 4th floor. The elevator did not work so we had to hike up 4 flights of stairs, you would think with two elevators one would work but no... so as we get closer to our room this wicked creepy guy peeks his head out of his room and... more

Just got back from a 4-night stay for a conference. The staff were actually very friendly, but the facility is a dive. The wait staff at the adjancent IHOP were "interesting" - worth a visit though! I had to be switched from my first room, which was absolutely gross - in disrepair, dirty, etc. The second room I was in (close to the office end, overlooking the pool) was quite a bit better. The bed was actually quite comfortable, and while I normally don't like loud room a/c units, setting it on fan masked the noise of the highway... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel the Last weekend of July. I booked my room on hotwire for 2 nights at 33.00 per night!! I read the reviews about this hotel, they said it was dirty, smelled moldy, etc. so I took air freshener, my own towels, etc. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. my only problem with the room was that it was a smoking room, and the only smell was of cigarrettes, but I cant complain...after all I only paid 33.00 a night and I did have my fabreze with me. after a good squirt down with fabreze the smell... more

This April I attended the Oncology Nurses Congress at the Orlando Convention center. Since I pay my own way I always have to stay Cheap!!! I chose this hotel over the other for two reasons only 1) extreamly close to the convention center and 2)cost. For these two points it was the right choice. The rooms were nothing to write home about. Your basic square box with two beds, table chair and a coffee maker. It is an old style in that your door opens on to the outdoor walkway. Musty smelling, dirty, rude staff if that is not enough, just beware. The bus station would be less expensive and on the same level.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I checked in and they gave me a filthy room. I went to the check in desk and asked for another room, they gave me yet another gross room. There was mold and the mildew smell was enough to kill you. I was on the phone with other hotels trying to find another place to stay when some man comes banging on my door screaming I know you are in there. Needless to say he was looking for someone else. Avoid this hotel! Rooms weren't clean. Mold in bathroom. Shower/tub leaked through the floor into the next room. Breakfast was terrible. Never again!!!

This hotel was awful. There was mold growing in my AC unit, my white socks were black on the bottom after walking around on the carpet, and there was visible soap scum in the tub. A colleague who was also staying there had a roach in her tub. The mildew stench was overpowering.
