Bougan Villa Apartments
Sa Coma. a little to quiet for us, it was our first time in this part of Mallorca, prefer Palmanova a little more life. We never the less had a great holiday , it is what you make it.I found a great grill place, 2 infact, on the main drag to the beach, wonderful steaks etc. The beach was Ok, a little to much sea weed and it does not seem that the council clean the beach and sea like they do in Palmanova. Mallorca is not a cheap place to go anymore, the drinks are as expensive as in the UK and the food is too, the Euro really messed things up.
If you wanna a laugh, check out the Brtiania pub, on Fridays, I am bias, I am a singer, the Elvis tribute at this bar is the worst, I actually made a note of his name Cisco King, this guy would not last 5 minutes in a Uk club even less in a pub, sheer crap, I presume by the name that he is Spanish, so I guess that says it all, his hair, i think it is based on Amy Winehouse!! , but it wasn't only him, Delaneys, irish Bar which is a fair old walk from the boogie, had the most boring Elton John I have ever seen in my life, although he actually could sing and looked like who he was supposed to be, they say all publicity is good, so perhaps I am doing them a favour.
All in all, i would say it was ok, if you visit this area, make your own mind up. Bill

I have to say that my family and I really enjoyed our week long stay at the Bouganvilla Hotel.
The complex was only a short spin from the airport. On booking our holiday the rep assured us that a studio would be sufficient for my family, however when we checked in we found the studio to be very cramped for 2 adults 1 child and an infant.
We really just didn’t have enough space to move. However that is what we booked and was our mistake. Our studio was located on the ground floor - this was ideal for us - especially having a two year old climber in the family! So really the room didn’t dampen our spirits.
The complex itself - both accommodation and pool area were spotless clean. The hotel staff were very pleasant - all day every day.
There were plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance and all very cheap to dine in. The entertainment in the complex and also in the square at night was very good.
Overall we really enjoyed our holiday in Santa Ponsa as it caters 110% for families. We will definitely be returning to the Bouganvilla next year but will be booking a one bedroom apartment. Thumbs up!!

I was delighted with these apartments that I went to them 2 years in a row.
All the staff were so friendly especially the poolside bar staff. The reps were brilliant they just never stopped entertaining the kid’s morning to night.
The entertainment was very good with something different every night from magic shows to plays like Annie and Grease.
The accommodation was perfect we went self catering for 2 adults and 1 child and it was fine. The food at the poolside bar was lovely I have a very fussy 8 year old who loved the breakfasts and snacks there.
I would recommend the pirate night for any family you can arrange it with your rep and its a great night out for the family and the bus only takes about 15minutes a truly excellent night.
Just try and avoid the men on the beach that sell the sliced fruit I gave one man ten euro for 1 slice and he just walked off and refused to give me my change there was no man with me it was just me and my son so there was nothing I could do I was so annoyed about it.
But all in all I would recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you have children; my kids loved the entertainment each night, especially the bingo! The pool area was lovely, with sun beds free of charge to relax during the day.
There is a small gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and electric sun beds available to use too free of charge, as well as a massage for free! There was a big pool with a water slide, and a smaller kiddie’s pool.
There is lots to occupy the kids during the day as the reps(who I would like to compliment for being so friendly) organise games by the pool for them, and the games room was good too, also a sports grounds for football and basketball and tennis.
A playground was also there for smaller kids that was supervised by the kids club reps. My older daughter thought there would be internet access available, but the were only 2 computers, 1 of which was hogged almost 24/7 by one of the men staying in the hotel, the other was not working.
The cleaners were excellent and regular changed towels and sheets and cleaned the rooms. The rooms were big enough, and we had a good sized bathroom with bath and shower and a nice sized balcony.
During the day, there are lots of shops near the hotel to have a ramble around, At night time, about 5 minutes away there is a good selection of pubs and clubs too for the younger crowd, and the village square was right beside us where there was entertainment every night.
I loved the Chinese restaurant beside the Jardin Del Mar hotel, it was delicious and my family ate there on 3 of the nights we spent there. The beach is close, about a 10 minute walk with McDonald’s right beside it which kept my kids happy.
On the beach however there was a man who gave my 3 kids a small little square of pineapple each and would not leave until I paid him 6 euro each for them, so don't let him catch u out! He really annoyed me as I could have bought a whole pineapple for 1 euro!
