On arrival to the reception I was greeted with an orange juice as I checked in.. This was the amazingly kind and friendly greeting that began a week of being treated so nicely and considerately by the staff at the Savita. The room was large and clean and had everything... more

5 star?? what 5 star?
The Savita was a clean, and spacious hotel. It did fall short in more than a few areas. The check-in at the Reception was a mess. We booked 2 rooms and after a 30min wait with people pushing and shoving they checked the 4 of us into one room. the rooms was clean and furnished to a minimal We found the main restaurant to be a bit hectic, and the food was o.k. Nevertheless, at no time did we go hungry but my husband did end up in the clinic with a drip!! There appeared to be a shortage of staff in this hotel, and a... more
Brits a Minority Group!!!
We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Savita. This was our 3rd trip to Sharm, and both times previously we stayed at the Hilton, which is virtually next door to the Savita. The Savita was itself a very nice, clean, and spacious hotel. It did, however, fall short in a few areas. The check-in at the Reception was efficient, and friendly, and our cases were transferred to our room promptly. The room was clean, and adequately furnished, and the "room boy" was very friendly, cleaning every day to a good... more
Worst hotel
We had a horrible time at this hotel, this was no way near the 4 star hotel we had paid for.We asked to move after our first day. The food was of a very poor standard,we are not generally fussy but would have left a restaurant if they had offered us this level of quality. To obtain a drink in the dining room ,we had to wait in a 10 deep queue ,the cheap local beer was poured from a can , which was divided threeways, wine was not always available, if it was it was poured from an old coke bottle into a scratched very small... more
Best week of my whole year !!!!!!!!!!!!
Myself and My Husband and daughter have just returned from a week in the Savita hotel and I personally found some of the bad reviews unfounded .The Hotel was amazing (you would be hard pushed to find one in london as good for the price you pay) . The staff work really hard and it shows the whole hotel was spotless and they could not do enough for you (they do not always expect a tip). The food was as good as you made it none of us had the dreaded tummy bug and the food was always served fresh we did not get the same meat twice in the week we... more
loved the beach!
This hotel and beach really was amazing as it was right on the red sea were you could go snorkiling which i found amazing. but the hotel itself did not cater for kids at all.. there was absolutely nothing to do at night time! the food was awful i lived on pizza and chips that was it and so did my little girl. the people who worked in this hotel were nice but some of the tourists were not as nice.. one week is enough in that resort 2 weeks you would be bored i went for 1 and was so glad to be home!!
nice
my partner and i have just come back from lavita resort or could be known as savita.the hotel itself is massive .it has 7 seperate floors with pools on each level.as well as the big main pool.on the hole the hotel was well kept and extreamly clean.the staff was very friendly and helpfull.they would bring drinks out to the pool and u always had clean towels for the sun beds.every day .the rooms wear cleaned and a fresh bottle of water was left for you.the animation team tried hard but wasnt all that bless them.basically that was all the... more
Brilliant Holiday
Stayed at the hotel from 17th July for two weeks with my partner and his child. From the moment we got to the hotel the service was excellent. We were checked in straight away and the porter showed us the main areas of the hotel and then showed us to the room. The room was clean with a lovley view. The room cleaner was brilliant, cleaned to a high standard every day and played with my partners sons plastic soilders placing them around the room daily for him to find whihc kept him entertained. Food - lots of choice, no you cannot... more
never again
just returned from savita never again, ther was only a small amount of british guests mainly russians which the hotel catered more for. We went for two weeks and there was 8 of us in the party, every one of us suffered with terrible upset tummys which the food that was served did not help, they seem to cater more for the russians who had their plates piled high, food was not very good standard and mostly luke warm(the bread was ok) THE SO CALLED ALL INCLUSIVE DRINKS well you could only get one drink at a time even though we were a party of 8... more
Great Hotel
Just arrived back from this hotel. We stayed at Savita Resort for two weeks on a All Inclusive Program. At first, we were disappointed with the food and the room. First of all, we don't eat Beef, myself a Vegetarian and due to the weather being so hot, the air conditioning was at low fault. We spoke to the manager and he changed our room which we were happy, then he introduced us to the executive chef, who then took care of our meal times tremendously. Lots of different variety of dishes, the Italian station and the seafood restaurant... more
Balanced view
We (myself, wife, mother and father-in-law and our three sons aged 19, 16 and 9) stayed at the Sa Vita resort between the 15th-25th of July 2008. Having read some of the reviews we were concerned about travelling but went anyway and i hope to provide an unbiased balanced review of the hotel and give you some helpfull tips if i can! The Hotel itself is huge with a very impressive foyer and has a total of 8 floors with a number of swimming pools scatered around the complex. We had standard rooms which were spacious and kept very... more
