My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for two weeks in 2009. Writing this review a bit late (2 years whoops!) I can't remember all details but I can give you some accurate information about our stay.
This resort was extremely peaceful, with a limited number of rooms (13 I believe), and so the pool area is never crowded. The snacks from the pool bar are very nice and it is relaxing to have a snack here. Because this resort is lower down than other resorts, you do not get as good a view as other resorts such as Lindos Gardens which we stayed at in 2008 and had a mesmerising view! In fact, if you are given a ground floor apartment I do not think you will get a view at all apart from for the hotel's garden. There were toilet facilities at the end of the apartments on the ground floor which is useful if you do not want to get your key go up to your apartment open the door, etc, etc. However, these toilets are next to one of the apartments so I feel sorry for those in that apartment! The apartments are spacious and have balcony areas which are useful for pegging out clothes although they do sometimes fall off.... There are goats climbing over the mountain and donkeys you can hear nearby. Overall my experience was extremely relaxed and chilled and it is a lovely resort, the only reason I give it a 7 is because of the lack of view and because the staff were more remote than at other places.
There are two supermarkets near by with everything you should need for your self catering facility. Lindos town is located down the hill, probably 15 minute walk away, with the beach a little further and is not recommended to those with mobility problems unless you catch the free bus from the supermarket/parking area. There is another way down - if you walk past Lindos View and round by St. Paul's bay which is slightly less steep.
We stayed in September and the weather was beautiful, although we did have an electrical storm one night which was fantastic! Lit the sky up purple.

The Eleni studios are in an excellent position to explore the village of Lindos and further a field.Our thompson rep was very good. My only complaint was the towels and sheets in the apartment,they need to be replaced urgently they are there since the apartments opened eight years ago,also the owner needs to have them laundered professionally so as they are washed and properly sanitised.It was a big turn off.

hi there just came back from rhodes lindos was there for 2 weeks at eleni studios, love rhodes all over itself had a great time the water park in falaraki is brill suites all ages and hired a car from rhodes rent a car which was really good value for money and fully covered much cheaper than the rep. elenis itself was nice but what we paid thomson for it felt a bit ripped off as we booked in feb and paid £1,700.00 and i personally think the appartments were not up this standard of money. aircon was 94 euros for 2 weeks which you have to have otherwise you would just fry and that was only part time personally i think its alot of added expense as drinks etc around the pool was very expensive to overall loved rhodes, lindos itself but wouldnt go back to these studios.

reason being as show in brochure it looked lovely spectacular views and pool with pool side bar for your snacks all day long, however the pool was never open all day has eleni always put chrloride into it at 3pm every day and limited bar snacks as she left a member of her family who did not speak any english and when eleni was at the premises she was constantly on the phone and unapproachable so no help whatsever.
Very nice rooms shame about the shower never know whether you would get hot or cold water ,clean towels if we were lucky.
rooms was supposed to have air condition eh no they didnt complained till blue in face but got us nowhere she kept saying she would have a look tomorrow and it never came when we were leaving she threatened to have us arrested as we refused to pay for air con that never worked so we paid her as she told us we couldnt do anything about it and she would stop us going home
When we got home we complained to our tour operator which refunded what we paid her so anyone out their if you want miserable holiday this is the accomodation for you
so stay clear

My boyfirend and I have been to Eleni's twice and both times we've had a really good time. It's an ideal location for the heat in July. The pool is a god send! The local bus (free) takes you right into the centre of the village in 2 minutes.
The staff were really friendly and other holiday makers were fantastic.
The facilities are clean and well maintained.
The rooms are typical of self catering apartments basic but spacious.
Overall a very relaxed resort - home from home - Only with the sunshine and lots of it! Air-con is a must for Lindos.
Can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic week at the Eleni Studios. Eleni and the staff were so friendly. The rooms are basic but very clean and tidy, although air conditioning is definately a must, it was so hot when we were there!!
We found some lovely restaurants in the town serving some brilliant food. It was nice to spend time around the pool or wander down to Saint Paul's Bay. We went on a few day trips arranged through Thomson. The best one was definately the scuba diving trip to rhodes town with Waterhoppers diving school.
I would happily go back to the Eleni studios for another stay and was very suprised to see some not too brilliant reviews on here for this accomodation.

I was very disappointed and upset to see the bad comments about Eleni Studios. Me and my Hubby stayed here for one week at the end of August 07 and are going back end of October for another week.
We both enjoyed our stay with Eleni and are counting down to return. Eleni looked after us very well and made our stay enjoyable. We are taking friends in October who I know will not be disappointed. The pool is fab and always clean, the pool bar food was good and reasonably priced. Towels were changed and also the bedding. Elenis staff are lovely and do a good job of helping to look after the place even in the blistering heat like they had this summer.

We booked a last minute deal with Thomson and paid a mere £270 for 2 of us travelling.
With such a cheap deal we didn't have very high expectations on where we ended up.
Eleni Studios was a friendly family run establishment that all in all house 13 self catering apartments. With a nice pool area and good sized rooms we were quite pleased. It wasn't until we stocked up the fridge that we noticed that it wasn't actually that cold. As we tried to turn it up it became obvious that the button had been broken off.
The next setback was the kitchen appliances and utensils. For a S/C hotel they don't provide you with anything to cater with! The pans were dirty and there was nothing to clean them with.
Our towels were changed once during the week long stay while the sheets didn't get changed at all - even though through very hot temperatures we did sweat quite a bit.
Half way through the week we ran out of toilet paper and after asking for some we had to wait 24 hrs to get some.
Once again, we considered the price and as it was so cheap we didn't mind too much.
It wasn't until the last day that we got chatting to another couple that we found out that they were experiencing the same problems - only they had paid more than us.
Having said that, and considering the low price we paid, we ended up having a great week - but I feel sorry for whoever else got ripped off with the same accommodation.

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from two weeks at the Eleni Studios. We loved Lindos itself however, the apartment although nice to look at could do with a bit more effort from Eleni herself. The towels were changed only one time and the bed sheets not once, despite saying they would be changed twice a week in the brochure.
The food in the snack bar in my opinion was overpriced for what you actually get; for example, for 2 burgers and chips and 2 bottles of pop it came to 21 euros. The rooms themselves were nice and spacious with plenty of room to put clothes etc. You never knew whether you would get hot or cold water when in the shower, and sometimes we got none at all, also the floor tended to flood after. For what we paid for the apartment, we would have expected a little bit more effort from Eleni herself who seemed to be more interested talking on her phone than to serving the customers.
Previous reviews didn’t bare any relation to what we found except that the pool was nice and clean and plenty of sun beds. The walk into town isn’t really that far, the hill can be a bit hard work to climb on a hot night but a taxi up is only 4 euros. If you fancy a change of scenery you can get a taxi into Pefkos for only 6 euro 2.
If you’re looking for somewhere nice and quiet where dirty towels, bed linen and a distinct lack of customer care is not a priority then Eleni Studios would be ideal for you. However I’m guessing not many other people would expect this either.
