If you would like to get away for a holiday filled with peace and quiet, this is the villa for you. The owners house is next to the villa but they are very nice people and do not bother you during your stay, however if you do need to ask any questions their English is very poor.
This villa is very spacious for two but may be a little cramped for four (if not related). The villa contains two bedrooms (one on a mezzanine floor over kitchen/dining area), two shower rooms, a dinning area and small kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay in villa Madonnina, the private pool is lovely and the surrounding views are not to be missed.
The village is very small and you must always check your change when purchasing anything in the local shops as the locals have a habit of short changing. We found it better to shop in the larger supermarkets but you do have to travel some distance to find one.
We found it difficult to visit other cities in Tuscany because they are so far away, if you are travelling by car we would recommend a satellite navigation system as the maps and road signs available are not very clear. Sienna and Pisa are definitely worth a visit.
