Piccadilly Hotel

We booked our weekend with the Hotel Piccadilly to spend it teaching and dancing with like minded folks. We were oversubscribed but the Piccadilly came up trumps with three couples sleeping in the hotel across the road but taking all meals with the rest of us.
As the Piccadilly is under new management since January 2007 it is apparent that the new owners are doing everything to make the guests stay as enjoyable as they can. All the bedrooms seemed to have been recently decorated and the beds and furniture seemed to be new as well. The main lounge had obviously been recently refurbished.
The staff were very attentive and when any problem occurred it was dealt with quietly and efficiently.
The food was better than we could possibly have expected from an activity type hotel. In fact it would not have been out of place at a respectable restaurant.
Did we enjoy ourselves? You bet. We immediately booked 3 more days in December this year and another weekend in May next year. Both of these breaks are already 75% booked by people returning from this break.
Good value. Good service. We are going again.
The Hotel specializes in dance related breaks. There are various groups using the hotel teaching and dancing, Modern Jive, Salsa, Ballroom , Latin American, Modern Sequence and Argentine Tango.
