When I go back to Formentera, I'll definitely stay in Es Pujols.

It's a lovely little resort, the amount of restaurants give you a good choice, and it's lively enough, but never too lively.

I will definitely return to this hotel as well - it's a gem. Firstly the staff are really friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. We were lucky enough to get the family room - it was huge, clean and simple with a sofa, and sea views. The pool area is large, with loads of sunbeds, and it's a stones throw from the beach - with the clearest water you'll see this side of the Bahamas.

I would recommend hiring a scooter/car, and the hotel can organise it for you at a place just down the street. There are a few supermarkets nearby, and loads of good places to eat. A good family restaurant close by is Sa Palmera, that does great seafood and paella. 'Ugly' bar has some fantastic pizzas (there are loads of Italians in Formentera, - also try the superb ice creams opposite 'Ugly')

I think the only downside of this hotel was the breakfasts, as we were not catered for, we had to make do with yesterdays croissants and instant coffee (a first for me in Spain!) - in the bar area - a different area to the people who were catered for. For the price we paid, I think this is a little mean

However I would still recommend this hotel highly.

Extremely Relaxing Hotel by WaneeD

This hotel, and especially our room, was so clean that we felt like we were their first guests. Conveniency is the key word here. Take a taxi to the hotel and there is no reason to leave Es Pujols until it is time to go home. Excellent pool, beach, restaurants, shops, clubs are all within walking distance. While there we would not consider staying any place else. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We only wished that we would have stayed longer.

This was our second year running at the Tahiti hotel and i would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing trouble free holiday cleanliness is second to none and the staff are all very helpfull if you do visit make sure you try a cocktail from the pool bar wre you will be entertained by Minola a fantastic guy

On arrival at this Hotel we were given a warm welcome by Reception staff and shown quickly to our room.. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are decorated to a high standard. THe poolside is very well maintained and kept clean at all times as are the rooms. Additional requests are handled quickly and if at all possible facilitated. THe only negative aspect is the Hotel food this is unimaginative and not very well cooked, but there are many restaurants within just a few yards.. The Tahiti is to be highly recommended.

relaxing, a lovely holiday by walkalot

Our room was spacious and the hostal was very clean. Occasional hic up with the food but there was no need to go hungry. Service from all members of staff was excellent. Beautiful view of the sea from our bed, beautiful walks. The only down side was that we had to come home, would have loved to stay longer.

Returned in July 2006 from a brilliant holiday. Es Pujols for us was an excellent location on the island with good facilities. Evenings are great for people watching from the many bars and restaurants and there is a lovely market each evening selling jewelry, crafts, etc.

Hotel Tahiti is excellent. Situated right next to the beach, we had a sea view room. Cleanliness was superb, staff so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for all of them. Food also pretty good and plentiful with good choice. When returning to Formentera we will certainly choose this hotel again.

It is 15 years since we last visited the island and still think it is an excellent place to visit. We stayed for 2 weeks which flew by. The only downside for us (as we like to hire bicycles), is the amount of scooters now on the roads. We are sure lots of the people on these scooters had not ridden one before and had little sense of how to operate one safely. We were told the number of scooters increases in August also. We will however be returning to Formentera
