" Great holiday "
Submitted By: debre7It was fantastic value for money and could not fault it. We did not stay around the pool as we felt the beaches were far to nice to miss.
It is quiet and not alot going on, but if you want a relaxing holiday by the sea, it is perfect. Would definitely go back.
Advice: A great budget holiday where the accommodation in the new block was first class
Activities: nicest restaurants on the seafront.

" Just wow "
Submitted By: myk.greenHowever once we got there it was the best hoilday we had ever been on, the minute you get there you feel like you are being welcomed into a 5 star hotel, the owners (who live on site) are extreamly friend and always around to help. yes the hotel is tiny but this isnt a problem at all, infact its advantage as it was extremaly peaceful and relaxing, brilliant pool just the right size very clean, however did stub my toe as its a pepple floor, but not a big hay.
The rooms where excellent they where of the right size for the two off us, decent amout of storage, large fridge cooking facilties ectra. The bathroom was wonderful just the right size very clean. (No bath but that didnt bover us, as we normally have a shower)
Overall was the best hoilday we had ever had and would highly recommend going to these apartments if you decided to gol to this part of Greece.
Advice: The town its self has everything you need shops bars ectra did i mention bar :) actually coming to s

" We have just returned from a lovely... "
Submitted By: Mrs A.P BeachOn arrival, we had a long wait while each party had cases taken up to their rooms and shutters explained, which was kind of them in a way. No smiles or signing in or passports taken etc. Being a foursome we didn't mix much so see other reviews for bar prices and barbecue comments. Kostas or his daughter had to escort us to the secure safety deposit box area.
A lot of guests spent time by the small pool which was part shaded by the block not in the brochure and got to know Alex the friendly barman better.
The comments we read before going, described the narrow coarse sand/pebbly beach well. The sea, once you'd negotiated the pebbly shelf at the edge, was safe, deeply shelving, lovely and clear and enjoyed by toddlers in arm bands as well as others. At least the sand didn't blow in your eyes. It was a short walk along the lane, across a busy dual road with lights and down a shopping street to the prom. Down there were some brilliant tavernas- we would especially recommend Flegra, Nefeli and Aypa for their Greek food and welcome. Up a side street we ate once at the Tulip restaurant which was a bit cheaper and had a non greek menu too. All of them gave us complimentary desserts. We enjoyed choosing 2 starters each to make a filling meze meal.
One day we walked for an hour to nearby Hanioti. Because of a shower we didn't see all the seafront I think. Another day we spent 1 euro 40 single again on local bus to Kallithea. It was quite a climb down steps or a long slope at other end to the lovely soft sand beach which shelved very gently out in to the sea . I couldn't get far enough out to swim! Not many facilities down there but we enjoyed a lovely lunch at the friendly Afroditi taverna and could change there in clean comfort.
All things considered, we preferred Polychrono and would recommend the Kostas apartments.

" We booked a late deal one day before... "
Submitted By: Mr S SmedleyA few minutes delay only and then we were taken to our room. From that point on I was pleasantly surprised. A very laid back, friendly, family run business. Very clean, acceptable apartments with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Charming small family dog that will entertain for hours. I can't think of any bad points that would ruin your stay, and our neighbours at the time agreed it was the best apartment they had used in Greece so far.
Situated behind is a vast, open forest type landscape for the walking enthusiast, and to the front is a quad bike renting shop for the those who aren't. all in all a quiet resort, with lots of restaurants and few bars, great for a relaxing time with your partner, double the fun if you can get last minute at a bargain price. Any doubt about Kostas, there is no need, enjoy!
For those that must know about all minor bothers...
Large road between resort and hotel, although a timed crossing is always active and the road is rarely busy.
Electric cooking hobs don't turn off when in the knob is on the "off" position.
Solution: unplug when not using.
