the villa was fantastic. if you want a quiet chilling holiday this is for you, private pool and everything a fully equipped kitchen can provide you with and you can just do want you want, only 10 minutes walk to the harbour few resturants which were quite expensive but the fresh fish was fantastic would definiteley do it again but you could feel isolated if you want pubs and clubs . we booked this only few days before as a late booking and got a great deal never had such a restful holiday just swimming and lazing.

We spent 2 weeks at this villa and overall had a lovely time relaxing there. On the positive side it really is tranquil set in the middle of a rural area with wheat fields to look out on and lots of farmland. The villa was well supplied with necessary kitchen utensils etc. The lounge/kitchen/ diner is ample and light. ( depending on whether you stay in villa 1 or 2, we stayed in 2, you have more room in villa 1 which has more floor space) The pool was great, the size was just right. It is probably about a 5 minute drive to Latchi or Polis. There are many "supermarkets" (really more corner shops and gift shops) in both places although Polis does have a good size supermarket called Papandrios, which had we known the first week would have saved us a drive back down to the big Carrefour at Paphos! Latchi harbour is very pretty and there are plenty of restaurants along it to choose from. The weather was very hot. We visited Nicosia and the weather on that day was 48!!!
The negative things about the villa are that on arrival it is very worrying when your directions lead you off of the road along what looks like a a stone track for about 1.5km and is quite worrying when you aren't sure if you may have taken the wrong road. We found the keys in the door which gives a sense of low crime rate in the area when this seems to be quite normal for arrival days for villas. Of course ants are a problem in hot countries but we had them in the kitchen all the time. I'm not sure if theres anything that could be done to prevent the problem. Airconditioning was a bit of an annoyance. I understand that we have to pay for things but bearing in mind that hot countries are HOT it would be much easier to include the price in the cost of the holiday rather than being told by the rep that for a further 6euro per room per day we could have it! We decided to try and cope without as it was alot of money. We did manage with sleeping with all of the windows and doors upstairs open each night but with the long nets closed it was still very still too hot so we kept them open and as a result i got eaten by the insects!
The sofas are ok but don't expect to sit in comfort on these they are purely functional. We took a laptop with dvds thankfully as there is a t.v there but no channels to watch.
A safe would have been great to give peace of mind for passports etc.
All of that said we would recommend this villa if you would like a nice quiet getaway. about 40 mins drive to Paphos and not very far at all from the sensational mountains.
Also, we discovered that if when leaving the drive for the villa you turn right and walk passed two villas on your right and then a villa set down the hill when you get to the dirt track (only about 400yds) you will see some steps that lead down the hill and take you into a latchi village hotel which we cut through to walk down to the harbour. took about 7-8 mins and seemed quicker than going by car.
P.S the beach is very stony and we had to buy some rubber shoes to go there.
