Athina Villa

Don't book this villa if you have a bad back. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. We did complain to Thomson and the rep did phone the owner who refused to change the matress. We had to pay extra for the Air conditioning which was 6 Euros per unit per day. There was a unit in every room so does become very expensive if you want to use it. A car comes with this holiday, but they charge you for a full tank of petrol whether you use it or not. Apparently this is the norm in Cyprus. Nice quiet holiday resort except the noise you get from the farmers at the back of the Villa. Apart from that, we had a lovely time. The swimming pool was big in comparrison to others in the area. The Villa was well equiped. Good fish restaurents in Latchi and good restaurents in Polis which is the next town. One other thing to take into consideration, we lost a day of our holiday due to Thomson changing the flight times. We didn't arrive at our Villa until 1.45 on Sunday morning. You have to vacate by 10 am the following Saturday.
