Villas Askos Reviews
" Lovely "

We stayed at the askos villas in may 09. Didnt quite know what to expect being a last minute booking. The villa turned out better than the pictures on the internet. We stayed in villa 2. It was 3 bedrooms with en-suites. The villa was very big and open and really clean. The pool was amazing with plenty of sunbeds around and also very private. The kitchen had plenty of utensils etc in it. A maid came and cleaned the villa half way through our week stay also changing the sheets and towels. Didnt expect that either with it being a villa. Also our Thomas Cook rep called into the villa a few times during the week to make sure everything was ok. Coral Bay itself was nice with plenty of restruants, We tried nearly all of them and had a lovely meal everytime. We did find it quite expensive from when we had been before which was before it changed to the euro. We didnt have a car as we were only there for a week and didnt plan to do loads. We caught a bus into paphos one night which come about every 20 minutes and are very cheap. Had a lovely indian meal while there. Highly recommend a trip there. Would defiently come back and stay in the askos villas again. Happy holidays everybody.

As per other Aug 08 review, has a dedicated pool not a shared one which was bliss! Villa well equiped and comfortable. Was disapointed when the shower broke in the downstairs bathroom, after 1 week and wasn't repaired before the end of our 2nd week. Overall, a great location for a family holiday, you can do as little or as much as you like and you have a real home from home at the end of the day. Would highly recommend.

First time we have stayed in a villa, and were not sure what to expect.
The Thomson details showed that there were 4 villas situated together, with use of a shared pool. When we arrived at the airport, we were advised that there had been a mistake and that all villas had exclusive use of a pool within their own grounds! This was used extensively and was enjoyed by the whole family.
Villa no. 3 - 3 bedrooms - all en-suite. 2 twin rooms and 1 double.
Whilst bedroom furniture was quite basic, there were full length fitted units in both upstairs bedrooms with more than enough space. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a godsend when set at "17" as the weather was so hot.
Kitchen was well equipped - but a little tip - the fridge never feels very cold, but if kept on 3 or 4 the food and drink does stay cold. We made the mistake of turning it up to maximum, which actually shuts the cooling element down?!
Views from villas were really nice (sea and mountain views). If this is the quality of other villas, then we will think twice about booking apartment/hotel breaks again.
If walking into town, turn right when leaving the cul-de-sac as this is much quicker than going to the left. Only a 5 minute walk. Restaurants were great - El Faro and Seriani in particular.
With the car hire included, we managed to see a lot of the western end of the island. Well worth sightseeing, and note that inland the tavernas were very much cheaper for food and drink than the resort areas - but even these were quite reasonable.
Have a brilliant holiday!!
