Maritim Hotel Club

An absolutely terrible place. No ameanaties in rooms. Air conditioning didn't work. We went all inclusive the food was awful unless you like chips. The place was over run with stag parties. people standing in the pool passing bottles of vodka round and smoking. Loud music played from breakfast time till midnight. people running around all night screaming, fighting and banging on doors. When we complained we were told to ring security but no phone in room. one night the groups of youths were so drunk they threw all the sun loungers into the pool and the staff did nothing about it. The place is over run with ants, beds are uncomfortable. We booked here because it was advertised as a family holiday and there were only 2 children there and one of them was Spanish. I suggest you dont go there if you are looking for a nice family holiday.

Just came bk from there last week. there was 12 of us on a hen do. when we got there at 12.30am they tried to send 4 of us to another hotel cos they didnt have enough rooms, then out of no where there had enough rooms but had to put for of us in a room that slept 3. Our cases were running alive with ants. The hens room was broken into and had almost £1000 stolen, we were warned not to put anything in the secrurity safes as they got broken into and on the last night a very rude man in reception who new the receptionist followed us to a bar, he was hiding behind bushes and watching us while talking on his phone, think maybe he was planning to rob another 1 of our rooms. the reception are not helpful at all and never call the police and didnt call the manager for 2 days. when the manager did come he was very helpful, but was'snt much he could do for us. A couple of the girls whose money was stolen went to the police staition and the police sad this hotel is well known for the rooms bein robbed and it happens all the time. ibiza is great, but if u really want a great holiday DO NOT STAY HERE!

I never write a review but i feel that i have to as it was so bad!!!! I went with a party of 12 girls for my friends hen weekend, the food was ok and rooms were clean the man at the reception seemed friendly enough but as soon as we got there he told us there wasnt enough room for all of us and was going to move some of us but in the end he didnt he also warned us straight away about our valuables and offered us the safes in reception but when spoken to someone else they said dont because the will take stuff from there.After a couple of nights one of my friends room got robbed, they took all of their money, slashed 2 of their suitcases and when they tried to talk to reception they said they couldnt phone the police so the next day 2 of the girls went to the police station. The staff here wasnt very friendly the cleaners come into the rooms too much and it wasnt a safe environment to stay in luckly it didnt ruin our holiday we just made sure we didnt go back there early or own our own because we didnt feel safe!!I would just say that i would never recommend this hotel to anyone and please dont go there!!!

on first arrival the Hotel seemed nice but you soon start to hear the horror stories, we met 15 lads from south Walse that had put the valubles in a suitcase with a pad lock on it, after coming home they found the suit case cut open and every stole, to days late a group of friend we had met from liverpool had their stuff in a hard suitcase and some1 had taken a hammer (or something hard)and smashed it open. even peoples saves we being broken into. one lad had his bag with a wallet and phone in it stolen from the pool. its hard to relax when you know this is going on. keep everything on you and keep your eye on it the is only three meals a day and the choice is poor no way near 3 stars. 10 euros for a taxi to the westend and 10 back. staff are friendly enough probably because they are glad of the money they rob of the guest lol. i had my clothes emptied out of my suitcase by someone trying to steal valubles but unlucky you will have to get up earlier in the morning to catch me!!!

We were very worried (my partner and me who are both in our late 30s), by the reviews that we had read beforehand, but overall this hotel was absolutely fine! We got off to a bad start as they tried to transfer us to another hotel in the West End (fine if we had been 20 years younger!), but we stood our ground and insisted that we stayed at the Maritim where we had booked and paid for in advance. Food was fine, always something on the menu (and I am someone that doesnt eat meat!), and nothing stolen from us. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful, but that could well be they have had so many obnoxious tourists to contend with?!? We would probably save up a bit more and go somewhere else if we went to Ibiza again, but for the 'younger' crowd (:)), it would be absolutely fine. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and had a great holiday. Dont be put off by horrendous reviews!

First night we were told to hide all our money before we went out as they will steel your money and we talked to half a dozen people who had hundreds stollen,. So we did and when we ame back my friend who hid her money in a eyelash container had hers stollen along with a phone and camera. We asked a man at reception if we could phone the police and they refused to let us, when we got the travel agance to ring up the next day to complain the reception said they had no men who worked for them! There was always men at reception, ridiculous. We heard of sooooo many poeple getting there mney stollen, they seem to aim at people on there first or second night. appart from that it was ok but we had ants COVERING our floor, and they didnt clear it up for a few days same with the spilt icecream, glass and blood in our hall way. we managed to get a transfer after a few days thank god! But after that we had to carry round all our money and we didnt feel safe, thinking when we got back out suitcases would be broken into or stolen which we did hear a few poeple say they stole their actual suitcases and contence.

just came back from a fab 4 days in ibiza staying in this hotel , for a hen party . We read reviews before hand & were a bit worried about were we were staying . Turned out to be totally fine , no break ins nothing went missing , clean basic rooms , comfy beds , food ok , pools nice & staff always nice to us . ya get what you pay for and we got a bargain price for a brilliant short break away. we would all happily get on next flight out & stay there again :)

Just come back and I dont normally write reviews after being away, but felt I had to write a quick note to put at easy anybody who might be staying here shortly and have read the rest of the comments.
There were 12 of us who stated here for the weekend and we had a great time, I agree it wouldn't be the place to come on a family holiday, the staff were helpful, had no issues with the hotel, basic but was exactly what we wanted.
I can't comment on the food as I didn't see the resturant (probably why I'm feeling so rough now, not eating for 4 days is not a good idea!) but a few of the other boys did and they had no real complaints.
In total we paid £200 for flight and 3 nights all inclusive, for that price what do you expect to get. I'd go back there again.......only wish I was still there now!!
P.S non of us got robbed.

Booked in for a week away in June 2011 with my girlfriend and only stayed 4 nights before paying extra to move away from this asylum, after reading the reviews we gave it the benefit of the doubt, stupidly, and didn't try to change the booking, first night was OK, food was edible but lacking on choice offered by other all inclusive hotels, staff were friendly enough and room was basic but OK, all well and good you may think, then it went down hill rapidly on the second night, we had yobs running up and down the corridors outside the room at about 4 am shouting, screaming then fighting resulting in drips of blood on the floor the next morning, even the hotel staff refer to some of the guests as animals and monkeys and thats putting it politely. If you are into the clubbing scene then be warned that you will need to budget for taxis as they are quite a distance from the club maritim, to sum it up if you are a family DONT BOOK IT, if you are a couple DONT BOOK IT, if you have animal tendencies with no respect for yourself, anyone or anything it might be just the place for you but be warned that if you pay more than £25 for the week all inclusive you've been RIPPED OFF

when we arrive it was 11pm, we were tired and annoyed due to a delayed flight. the repectionist was unfriendly and just threw our keys are us. didnt no mention where our room was.
our room was clean and was cleaned reguarly. however we had maid barging in at all time of the day sometimes 4 times a day. luckily we had nothing stolen.
the pool was clean enough. we had no issues with cleanliness.
our issue was mainly the food and staff.
the food was vile and i ended up in hospital due to their food the day i arrived home. i hadnt eaten it over the entrie 2 weeks and the last day i did as i had ran out of money. 24 hour later im in an ambulance!!!

as for the staff all but 2 we rude. on one of the night the bar man was drunk and started to harrass us. we are 3 girls 18-21 so we were scared. as i tried to walk away he grabbed my arm and was dragging me around luckily some lads stood up adn got me away, the then threw a cigarette into my friends hair and threw a chair at my other friend. When we spoke to the manager the next day he refused to move us, then the bar man punched one of the lads from the night before and was arrested. We were still told we could not move hotels.
we were terrified to go to the bar incase he was the but he wasnt.
the other barman they had on was lovely and friendly and would do anything for us! he introduced us to his wife and child and made staying at that dump alot more plesent as did one of the receptionist. a young guy who when i asked for a hair dryer told me they didnt have one but rang every hotel near to see if they did, he then gaveme style tips and spoke to us every day and made us feel at ease!
all in all its not too bad. however if you dont go all inclusive youd be fine! and hopefully the barman was sacked!
i wouldnt go again.
