Great Place to stay!
We' ve travelled to Ibiza for a quick stay, in a fun/work trip. The Insotel Fenicia Prestige sure was a great choice and we recommend it to travellers goingo to Ibiza. Is stays in Santa Eulária Del Riu, in front of nice beaches, and it has a great pool site, with nice jacuzzis. Very close to Santa Eulária centre, on foot, and in a very quiet place.
Go on treat yourself!
From the moment you approach the resort of Santa Eulalia this stunning hotel draws you to it like the jewel in the crown, when you arrive at the foot of the steps to the hotel it oozes quality and elegance from the refreshing sound of the gushing water to the architecture of the building. We stayed in the junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious; the interior décor through out the hotel is of an impeccable standard combining modern stylish fittings with truly warming furnishings. The bathroom was a mini spa in itself,... more
spa is great
much as i despair at the island becoming more and more concrete jungle, a la costa del sol, i would have you know..that should you require somewhere comfortable (ie warm and dry) to stay in the Ibiza winter season.. this is probably the place we love the spa this place is not 'beautiful', and really lacks any of the true ibiza spirit but its luxury (at the luxury price) and an alternative offering when most of the charming spots like es cucons, can domo, jardins de palerm etc are closed for winter please please please... more
just what it said on the tin
We chose this hotel as we wanted guaranteed luxury for a 4 day break away from our young daughter. It was perfect! Not the hotel for you if you like it charming and rustic but we loved it. Our room was very spacious with a fantastic sea and pool view and a massive and beautifully finished bathroom. Its location was fine if you dont mind getting taxis to Ibizia town for decent resturants as the local 'strip' is pretty much all english bars. We ate at the pool bar each day for lunch which was great and had a pretty decent aisian meal in... more
Very nice waiters!
Overall its nice, but expensive for the quality of service. The spa is not part of the hotel and you have to pay extra to use any of the facilities which wasn't made clear when we booked. Location is ok, we hired a car and it's very easy to see the whole island in a few days. The hotel is a beautiful building and the rooms were fabulous. The pool is lovely and kept very clean, and has a smaller jacuzzi pool attached. The breakfast is the best I have had anywhere with an unbelievable choice of foods. The waiting staff were excellent... more
will not stay again
The pools and rooms are of a very high standard. The staff however and the food are of a very poor standard. There is a language barrier, where they do not understand English and on occasions became aggressive towards our clients. In a five star establishment you would expect that the hotel would provide transport either to or from various places on the island if requested. Unfortunately this is not available and public transport (i.e. taxis) is not great in Ibiza and you may find yourself stranded somewhere on the island for a few... more
No spa - it is a separate company
This hotel does not have it's own spa - it is a separate company.
Fantastic !!!
this hotel had not long opened when we visited but did seem to be finished. If you can stretch the budget to a split level room with a rooftop hottub you will not be dissapointed. The onsite restaurants are quite expensive but the food and service is excellent . This is easily one of the best hotels i have stayed in for quality and service .
Loved the Fenicia Prestige
What a perfect hotel. The hotel was brand new in 2006 and strikes a balance between contemporary and luxurious. The rooms were spacious and the servicewas excellent. Prices were a little steep at the bar but then this can be expected from a five star hotel! The swimming pool was also salt water which was a it of a shock but it is kept at the perfect temperature and has a jacuzzi and relax section built in. Food was superb and there is a Japanese Tepanaki restuarnt on site which I believe is a first and a must on the island. the... more
Fantastic Hotel with great rooms
My wife and I visited this hotel during mid September for one week after searching for a quiet, 4 or 5 star hotel within a few hours flight of Gatwick. The review is quite long so pick out the bits that interest you. The hotel opened in June 2006 and is therefore still very clean and tidy without any noticable marks on walls, broken items or other things that you may notice with an older hotel. The hotel is very imposing from the front aspect with large glass panels and cream coloured walls dominating. The lighting of an evening is... more
