I visited here and had a week all inclusive. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The pool is lovely. We spent nearly everyday by the poolside. The food was buffet style and still good. I found the hotel clean at all times, and I would certainly consider returning... more

well, some of the criticism the Hotel had obtained from various internet sites ratings, sceard the hell out of us. As we read a lot of negative criticism, we were so afraid that we almost wanted to cancel our stay at Zouara hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were... more

We stayed at the Zouara Hotel from the 16/10 - 30/10. There were 5 in our group, myself, husband, two sons and their friend. Our sons and their friend are all 16 so they were a good age for us to allow them to do what they wanted. The hotel and its grounds were lovely it is... more

We booked the holiday and then unfortunately read the reviews. We were a little apprehensive to say the least! On arrival we felt relief, the whole hotel looked lovely, we arrived at night and went straight to our rooms. {We couldn’t get any refreshments as the all... more

This hotel has had a lot of bad reports and to be honest before we left Gatwick myself and my girlfriend were very apprehensive. The hotel does have its flaws the poolside drainage system is very dangerous and the food on several nights of our stay was not up to very much.... more

relaxing holiday
stayed at the zouara in october and had a wonderful relaxing holiday. staff were absolutely fantastic and could not do enough for us. food was ok but i wish the people who are complaining would remember that they are in egypt not england. none of our hotels cater for egyptian travellers! the cleanliness of the hotel was very good beds changed every day and fresh towels daily too. i would definately go back again.
Do not go there!!!
I and my boy friend book this vacation on the internet site. The price was surprising low, but we did not think that we will find such a hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel, if you check european standard this is 1 star hotel. Everything was dirty and around us were building new hotels, so you can imagine the noices. It is far from Sharm and if you like to go out in the evening or night you will have to take a taxi. I do not suggest this hotel to enyone. Fortunately the guide was so nice and helpful, so we change the hotel in the morning.... more
hated the zouara hotel
stayed for a month over the christmas period all inclusive -the hotel was dirty- the food was cold most days -catered mostly for italians -got the impression that they were not interested in uk guest - no entertainment at night only a belly dancer once a week -were asked to pay an extra £28 (British) for christmas eve gala dinner- the brits protested there was a meeting and they agreed on £15 with a disco in a tent in the grounds -if you didn't pay you had to have an ordinary meal in the tent and then you were asked to leave at nine so... more
better than what it has been decribed
we stayed 2 wks all inclusive. the rooms were cleaned ,clean sheets and towels provided every day. the food was not as bad as the others has said. for breakfast we had selection of cereals, fresh fruits, freshly baked rolls, bread, cookies, crossiant, and danish pasteries. selection of cooked breakfast and omelett and pancakes made to order. selection of fruit juices and tea coffee and hotmilk. for lunch, selection of salads, selections of freshly baked bread and rolls, hot soup, 4 -5 kinds of veg, 3-4 meat dishes,1 pasta dish and boiled pasta... more
hated this hotel would never go back there
I have just returned from the Zouara hotel. I stayed there for 3 weeks all inclusive. The food was dreadful, the same every day, and every meal, with mash and sausages for breakfast, lots of pasta, that was cold or luke warm like most of the other meals. In one dish you would get hot and cold chicken together. The bar area was very dirty, and they only started to clean it after I took a photo and reported it to my rep and the manager. The smell near the rooms is quite bad certain times of the day. If you need something... more
Dirty restaurant, bad management
I stayed at the Zouara Hotel during October 2007 and would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Whist we were there couples who could afford were leaving this hotel and choosing to pay £500+ to move in to a nearby hotel (coral sea resort) for the remainder of their stay in Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival our room was not ready! Insufficient beds! There was an infestation of mosquitos (something tha was not shared with the other hotels around the resort we spoke to others whilst on trips). You will need to budget for taxis as... more
Complete waste of money
Just come back from staying at the Zouara Hotel, it was a complete waste of money. Reading some of the reviews i think they must have stayed at a different Zouara in Sharn el sheikh. We went there for a quiet relaxing holiday and all we got from day one was loud music coming from a couple of broken speakers played around the pool all day from 9.30an untill 9.30.pm. There was no getting away from it as most of the rooms are near the pool area, it is even played all day at the beach also. I got my sunglasses stolen from around the pool area,... more
dont do it!!
stayed here for 2 weeks, started off ok for the first few days but went down hill after that, both of us were bitten and the flies are terible around the pool, ac didnt work in our room we were moved on our last night, the food is bland cold and tasteless, be prepared to eat out, staff were friendly but did become tiresome, both of us were sick for 2 days where we had to stay in our room and now we have returned my partner has been ill with salmonella which has been confirmed by the doctor, if you want my advise dont waste your money on this... more
Nice hotel but location is very poor
This was not a bad hotel overall. Staff are friendly (a little too friendly if like us you are a group of girls) and its clean. The Hotel is catered for Italian Tourists therefore we got some attention from the staff on the first few days of our stay while the hotel was quiet however once the Italians arrived, we were ignored! Food - Not the best breakfast in the world and Lunch was poor. Lack of choice and very little variety everyday. Little entertainment in the hotel. The worst thing about the hotel was its... more
Wodrefully Peaceful, Great food but caution....
The Zouara is a great hotel and worth every penny. I'll start with the room amazingly spacious great views, air conditioned (free) plenty of facilities, kept very clean. The food is excellent. A buffet style with dishes to accompany every pallet. I never had a bad meal. There is plently to do in the hotel. A large pool with games later in the the day. A free gym, sauna. On site hair dresser and massuse. Small shops on site for general needs and souveniers. The staff are great very warm and friendly. I know this all... more
