Returned two days ago from our honeymoon at the Orestis Apartments. We took our 3 children who loved the pool which was spotless, and the apartments were also cleaned to a very high standard everyday!!! Lynn and Yiannis looked after us from the poolside bar, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Only a couple of mins walk into the main street of Sidari which has some excellent bars and restaurants catering for families. We found the traditional Greek Taverns to be extremely friendly and exceptional food.Aqualand, glass bottom boat trip are two excursions we took which we highly recommend to anyone. There are many places to book these trips, (as you walk into town)we used the second agent on the left in the main street, she was friendly and gave us a good deal for the two activities.Mosquito spray is essential as they ate me alive, but decided to leave the wife alone???? We would recommend the Orestis to anyone, and Sidari is an amazing place. We are already booking to go back for our first anniversary and cant wait to return.

- Advice: Avoid all british bar touts and go for the traditional greek tavernas. Less pushy and amazing food!!!!!

I went to corfu with my wife and 2 kids. Travelling from corfu airport to this hotel took 3hrs and we arrived the hotel at 1am! There was no reception so we did not know where to go..after so much worrying we finally found a note saying the keys are under the door. I have never been to a hotel where there is no reception..it was not very safe. The bar/restaurant was always closed so we could have any drinks or food. The A.C. did not work. We booked an apartment with a sea view and ended up in a small dark apartment on the ground floor. It was really cold and there were only very thin blankets. The next day we had to do alot of complaining to the manager who finally gave us an apartment on the first floor. We still did not get a sea view so if you book one its not guaranteed. The rooms were quite big but the bathroom was tiny!!!! We were all attacked by mosquitos at night so make sure you take some spray or some kind of repellent. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cutlery, plates...there was 2 electric rings, kettle although the toaster didnt work. Overall we were not happy with this hotel, the service was very poor and would not recommend it..would recommend staying at the hotels in roda, paloekastrista or kassiopi...where the beaches are much nicer..more to do and more lively around there.

We went to the orestis for a family holiday we did'nt know what to expect. There were 2 adults and 3 kids, we had an amazing time, just right for the children there were more sun beds than guests.
The appartments were clean, staff friendly, the pool was fantastic, cleaned every morning.
Very close to the town but just far away enough for the noise.
Very close to the supermarkets.
Excellent holiday. booked again for August 2010 can't wait.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Orestis SApartments and have had a superb time. The self-catering apartments are the best we have stayeed in, spacious, quiet, clean and with great sea views.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, any questions we had were answered straight away, eg. we wanted a cot for our baby and it was within the room in hours of asking. We have a four year old and a seventeen month old, who both loved the pool. The design of the children's pool was great, in the middle of the main pool so we didn't feel the children were pushed into a corner of the poolside area.
There is a beach on the doorstep of the apartments, but only 10 mins stroll away is a much nicer beach.
All the restaurants we visited were very child friendly, most with a play area for children and a child's menu. You are spolit for choice of bars and restaurants to visit, several within 2 mins walk away, most on the main street 10 mins walk away.
We have never been on holiday to the same place twice but are seriously considering going again next year.

We had an amazing holiday at Orsetis. The apartments were spacious, clean and included everything we needed. The apartment had an amazing view from the balcony. The pool was extremely clean with a bar that provided snacks and drinks. The food was very nice and the bar staff were extremely friendly. The nightlife in Sidari was only 5 minutes walk away and had some amazing restaurants. We would reccomend the apartements to anybody and will be going back soon!

Had a fantastic holiday at the Orestis. Facilities are great for young families, our 8 and 6 year olds lived in the swimming pool for 2 weeks.
As on previous comments the apartments and grounds are kept very clean. On site facilities are very good and the pools are ideal for children of all ages. Staff are very warm and helpful. The air conditioning costs extra at 7 euro's per day or u can hire a fan for 1 euro per day.
We found Sidari very exspensive with the introduction of the Euro. We spent over £800.00 on food for 2 adults and 2 children for 2 weeks. Soft drinks for the kids were around 2 euros a can (sprite or coke).
Eating and drinking at the pool bar will require u to re-mortgage. Try and use either Elena's supermarket as she is cheaper than Alexander's and only a short walk further on. Eating out in Sidari can be a hit and miss. I firmly advise to try Demitrise restaurant located next to the tennis courts just past Hotel Mimosa, their specials are fantastic value 3 course meal with 2 choices of starter and main course for under 7 euro's per head, lager 2 euros per bottle (Amstel).
We had a day trip on the glass bottom boat out of Paleokastritsa which involves a bbq on a secluded beach with as much wine and soft drinks u could manage included in the price. Great value at 12 euro per head a must trip.
All in all we had a very enjoyable holiday but the euro is killing greece. Bring back the dracma

Give this accomodation 9 out of 10 but should be 10 out of 10 really.
Would reccomend these appartments to anyone. Couples, Older holiday makers, and Families.
Staff are welcoming and helpful and even met the owner who is not frightened of getting his hands dirty.
Plenty of places to eat within a couple of minuites even seconds.
We hired a car locally but only for one day and this was enough.
Supermarket close by but expensive so would advise going to the locals market which is just outside Sidari about 15 min walk.
Appartments were well equiped with cooking utensils even a washing up bowl.
Only thing missing was either a jug or Teapot.
Cleaners are great cleaned everyday and changed Towels and Sheets every two days.
Only day they don`t clean is Sunday (and why should they)
Other thing was great idea was that anyting left by people leaving was left out for new guest to use especially sun tan lotion whcih is expensive to buy.
Plenty to do it Sidari
The appartmet is close enough to all without being to close to all the hussle and bussle.
Appartment close to Pool Bar, Pool and beach and sea.
You can even hire a boat outside the main entrance if you want to explore the Island.
All in All
A GREAT HOLIDAY A++++
will be booking for next year 2009
If you dont want to self cater the oristis appartments bar serve breakfast for 5 euros
and even light meals served till 5pm
PS.
You can book with appartments direct and not pay an under occcupancy fee.
Which can save hundreds of pounds

Hello me and my friend went to this apartment in july 07 and had a really good time, boiling hot weather and great bars and clubs. The sea is right out side the place but the nicer part of the beach is a 15 mins walk away near the strip of sadari. the pool is lovely and the food was, but the whole time we were there we did not seen any of the reception staff to help us as our shower was broken. we olny had it fixed 2 days beofre we left and had to use the public showers. apart from that the holiday was good and the people in greece are fab! xx

My Husband and I decided to come to Oeretis Apartments in sidari for our Honeymoon. We had a great time. The Staff at both Oeretis Apartments and the Beach star Hotel were so helpful, they helped us to sort out my Husbands Luggage as it went missing at the Airport, (what a great start to our Honeymoon). The room was very spacious and very clean we had our towels and bins emptied daily. We had one day of run but they didn't stop us from going out, The people in sidari were so freindly and welcoming, The Paradise restaurant was lovely and so were the staff, food was gorgeous. we did numerous day trips, Albania which was a real eye opener and really made you appreciate what you have. Horse Riding was great. We also did the Kalpyso Star underwater sea cruise, that is an amazing experience. The Canal D amour is great with gorgeous views. We Enjoyed Sidari so much that we have booked to come back again for 2 weeks in June 2008. Wouls recommend it to everyone.

These studios are perfect, fantastic pool area spotless, near beach and small walk from main street. We stayed in two bedroom apartment with two teenagers who were very happy the whole fortnight, they are well sized. Friendly staff and really nice chambermaids. We have been to many Greek islands and these studios are amongst the best.

Had a fantastic holiday in Sidari. The Orestis apartments are excellent, cleaned six days out of seven and new towel every other day we stayed.
For two weeks we arrived late in the evening. Our name was on the board in complex and our keys were in the door.
The pool area is great with a nice bar area, step out from your complex and the beach is right in front of you. We are a family with three children aged 15 11 and 9 and there was ample room in the two bed apartment.
The place is spotless cannot praise the place enough was only a short walk to the town, but you hear no noise at night.
We also spent one day in a studio on our final day as our flight was late at night these are one of the biggest studios we have seen.
I would recommend these apartment to anyone. Thanks to everyone at the Orestis.
