I visited the hotel early june for a week. In the first few days the hotel was not as busy so sometimes the buffet food was cold, as it got busier the food got better and warmer and there was a good variety. It is as much as you can eat. A minus would be they didnt sell big... more

Hotel is ok if you want somewhere central with plenty of pubs bars and nightclubs closest is straight across the road,but could be very noisey in peak season. Hotel pools very good with plenty of sunbeds, but take notice that the beds go early in the morning roughly 8.30 am. Food was abit of a let down but there was always something to eat. For children there is not much as my daughter(michelle) and friend(kaylee) mostly eat chips and ice cream, all in all not much choice. Staff are very friendly hotel nice and clean, cleaned... more

Just returned after spending from the 12th May 2006 until 4th June 2006 in Benidorm. The entertainment programme duirng the morning and afternoon for both adults and children can only be described as excellent thanks to Tony Hay. The only downside of the holiday was that Tony Hay was not singing, maybe Paco should think seriously about getting Tony Hay to sing at least twice a week in the evening. more
Nice hotel - hate costa blanca!! from Doccy
Although i hated costa blanca - or blackpool as i call it, the hotel is great. Nice huge reception. Very organised staff. Clean rooms with nice balcony. good storage area for your clothes. Cleaned every day. I wasnt to happy with the restaurant as there was limited food for vegetarians (i only eat halal meat so had to eat vegetarian). I had to eat pasta most days as i dont eat fish. Just returned from a week at the Ambassador Playa. We were a little apprehensive before we went, as some of the most recent reviews were not favourable. However, we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is very clean, with marvellous staff who are all eager to please. The food may be a litle bland, but is always fresh with plenty of choice. The Spa at the hotel was an added bonus especially if the weather is a little cold for the beach. this my fourth time this year at this hotel and i was very disapointed with the food it was terrible i have booked to go in july but thinking about canceling staff were clearing up 10 mins before dining room was due to close and were filling there plates for dinner while people were still coming in for meals the dining room manager was not often there that is the only excuseican give as he is always on top of things more

The hotel itself was nice and comfortable but it was let down by the poor quality of the food. i.e. the bacon was typical a spanish apology for streaky bacon. sausages were severely under cooked, in fact all of the food was very bland and unsightly and poorly presented. The xmas dinner was a slight improvement but even then many plates of food were only half touched, it seems wrong to say it but the aircraft meal on the return journey was far better. I have just returned from Benidorm with a party of girls. This was our third time there. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Hotel staff was friendly ' rooms spotless. it was just the holiday we wanted. Waiters serving you while you lazed on your sunbed who could ask for more ( Us). We our hoping to return to the same hotel next year. The Western Saloon that joins to the hotel have great entertainment on each night. Pool side is kept very clean. This has been a great holiday for all 10 of us.x more
Twice in a month from EIRROG
We went twice in march for 3days at a time :) never had time to eat in the place but never heard anything bad from the other guests !! We stayed there for the locality bang central in the middle of all the action john and joes bar is right opp the hotel and never shuts :):):) very handy for late flights ! We booked our own flight from airscotland cost £23 eachway you can get a bus from the airport for about 6 euros into benidorm much cheapness!!
