Hotel Slavyanski was lovely, a bit dated but spotlessly clean and nice staff. Rooms basic but very comfy with everything you need. In the quieter area it's only a short walk to the busier parts which means a good nights sleep with no noise. Takes about 1 minute to get to beach, if that! nice pool, bit cold at first but good to cool down in!
Sunny beach is great, caters for all ages although in the actual town there are night clubs and pole dancing! Bars good and food cheap and good quality, you can get anything you want. Our favourite restaurant was a new Italian called Stella de Mare, left of hotel for about 2 minutes, brilliant food and really good value for money.
Weather was great, red hot but rained one day for a couple of hours.
Ladies make sure you take tissues out with you as most places have dirty toilets and no loo roll!!!

Just returned from hotel Slavyanski Sunny Beach Bulgaria. Hotel was ok rooms very basic but we had a fantastic view from our balcony overlooking the pool onto the beach.
If eating or drinking outside the hotel try to avoid resort centre as it has gone expensive compared to 2006.The cheapest place to eat & the meals are very good is LA BANANA, it’s about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, drinks are also cheap here.
If you go out at night try not to put any valuables on show as my 15 year old son had a camera taken from him at knifepoint by 5 men, one was carrying a knife at the time.
Apart from this one incident the holiday in general was fantastic. While you are holidaying here you must go to Nessebar its a short bus ride about 15 minutes & costs about 20p on the bus, have a walk around the old town there is a great atmosphere around the place, plenty of places to eat & drink.
You have to pay for your sunbeds at the hotel & they cost 5 lev (£1.75) per day, not bad ,but if you have a family of 4 it can be costly per day. If anyone goes to this hotel I am sure you will have a great time.

we went for 2 weeks on the 22nd to the 5th sep. our room was 704.
the hotel itself was ok for a base as its no frills.
the rooms are small with 2 single beds and a fold down 3rd bed. with one bulit in waredrobe.
the bathroom is a wet room so everything gets wet ( make sure ya take ya toilet roll out when you shower, we forgot loads of times and we ended up with it getting wet throu lol ).its a very small bathroom as well.
we had a beach facing balcony which was great for the view and sitting out last thing at nite watching the world go by, ya get a clothes line outside as well with 2 patio chairs.
ya get a tv in ya room but not alot of english channels but ya not on hols to watch tv. ya also get a phone in ur room as well.
the maids came everyday and we had loads of towel changes we lost count with how many , we had sheets changed twice during our stay.we had things go missing from our room thou, only toiletries as we got a safe for our money and things.
the safes our down in the lobby and u and the recpetion ave a key ya both ave to use the to open it. ya also have to hand ur room keys in when you go out as collect them from repection when ya come back in.
the worse thing about this hotel was no air con and it got so hot in our room with facing the sun.
we was on the 7th floor and when there was a bad wind our bathroom would get a very bad sewerage smell from the drain last thing at nite or first thing in the morning, althou it would go after half hour off opening the doors, we couldnt be bothered to change rooms so just put up with it.
make sure ya take a travel kettle and some cups so ya can make a cuppa in the morning as you ave nothing in ur room but 2 glasses.
we took kettle/cups/teaspoon/tea/coffee/sugar and tea towel ), so we had a nice cuppa in morning before we went down to breakfast, ya also get a fridge so ya can buy some milk from shop.
the lobby was a nice area to sit in the heat off the day or to get ya last drink before ya head off to bed, but the drinks prices would change every round and we would always order the same drinks lol.
we had dinner at the hotel resturant once and it was nice and the price wasnt to bad either.
the recption staff was very freindly always smilling at ya.the pool got cleaned everyday at about 7.30 we would often be up watching him clean it lol, it was nice but cold but once ur in its fine cools ya down nice, there are lots off sunbeds but coz u share the pool with the hotel next to you they soon go, and its 5 lev a day for them, it was 18 lev for 2 beds umbrella and table which ya couldnt opt out on as the table is contected to the unbrella which is a con on the beach, which i thought was very expensive.
there is a shop in the hotel but doesnt sell alot and is dear so we went to the supermarket next to the bellevue hotel.
there is a pool bar but we didnt use it.
the breakfast was ok but the same thing everyday, ya get lots off choice from fruit and salad stuff to cearel to hot stuff like eggs bolied/scrambled and fryed and things like german sausages. there was also bread and jams and hot drinks and fruit juices.we always found something to eat.
the hotel was ok but we didnt like sunny beach very much.
all in all the hotel was ok i would go back to this hotel just not in sunny beach.xx
