Me and my bf stopped here for 2 weeks at the end of september 2011. when we got our room we were heavily disappointed as all the english were put the other side of the road at there "appartments" we immediently asked to be moved as the room was falling to bits we even had to use one of my bobbles to hold the shower to the wall. We reported this to the hotel but still didnt get fixed. We was told we could move but not for 3 days which we accepted. The second room was better as it was over the original part of the hotel. the room never gets cleaned properly as a light bulb smashed above my bfs head in the first week he went and reported it and they gave him a dust pan and brush to clear it up with he did as best as he could, however as it came to nearing the end of the holiday we moved the fridge and found the remainder of the light bulb swept behind it and just left there. Our room backed onto the public walkway to the pool our bathroom window was insecure and some cabinets underneith it so anyone could have got in. As for it being an all inclusive it was more self catering/half board as the food qualtity was ok for the price we pay which we accepted however the food hygene was crap as 2 couples found a dead cockroch in the spagetti and we watched the chef pull out a big clump of black hair out of the meatballs. we mentioned this to a rep which he reported it to reception who told him to have his dinner in there but that afternoon the food wasnt that bad but like iv said the food was acceptable the hygene off it wasnt after that us and another couple felt we had to eat out as we were felt not welcome and isolated as we were pointed out to be the ones who had complained which we didnt like as it was confidential. One day we were pulled over by recpetion and asked why we were eating out as the place we were eating in was her families resteraunt we explained it all to her. luckily we have pictures of ants on the tables, a very mouldy egg and the very poor cleaning in our room. We have put a complaint in the our olymipic holiday rep and we are now taking it further to get out 400 pound of spending money back that we had paid on food. The drinks werent too bad you get a good amount of alcohol and georgio behind the pool bar was amazing big compliments to him. Coffee and tea however are sacred as you can only get them between 3 and 5 to me this isnt all inclusive or even a 3 star hotel. We met a guy who works out in afgan and even he said the food and accomdation is better in the afgan desert than in that hotel. It is clear to see that the triton doesnt like the english from the coments from management so were not suprised we got treated as badly as we did as they tar all the english with one brush. We never once got angry or swore we just wanted this rectifying. The pool was ok but you do come out of it blue. If it wasnt for the friends we made id of wanted to come home after the first couple of days.

I stayed at the Triton in July 2010 with a group of 13 friends. The hotel is perfect for a lads/girls holiday. The beach is a short walk away and the strip is literally round the corner. I disagree with the comments made about the staff. They were all very welcoming to us especially the barman across the road... plenty of free shots and the security guard (both called manros). The food is average, but we weren't expecting the ritz. The housekeeping staff are friendly and will replace your towels most days if your polite.

Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel in september 2010, we were 17 and 18 years old. as soon as i arrived at the hotel i burst into tears we went into our room near the pool and it was really dark in there a small window near the door no air condioning it looked like a cell so we got moved in the morning which was a bigger room but it was still really bad with ants everywhere! the bathroom is tiny also hardly could move around. breakfast was horrible we used to eat dry weird cornflakes and thats it for lunch there was only really chips we liked, bread was always stale, my boyfriend will eat anything and even he never really ate and of an evening it was always horrible so we mainly ate at sticky fingers which is really nice, malia as a country is a great place to go just not this hotel! i cannot think of anything good to say really the staff also got offended when we never ate there so we used to have to run away from them! haha

Just arrived back from Malia on the 7th of june, A group of 8 of us aged between 20 and 30 stayed at the Triton. When we arrived, first impressions were o.k, but the have buildings over the road were they put guests, and as soon as we saw them we were sayin we better not be put there, but jus our luck we were. The rooms were big, but werent the cleanest the the colours reminded me of a prison sell and the views from the room werent the best. We complaint stright away because we had payed to be in he hotel not the appartments across the road, to say the least we werent very impressed. After complaining they said they would move us quick as posible, which never ended up happening.
The food:
Breakfast: was cereal, bread, scrambled egg watered down beans, hot dogs, ham n cheese. we werent very impressed and only went to breakfast once.
Dinner: consisted of salad, pasta, rice, spagetti bolognes, some sort of meat, chips n something like fish fingers or hamwidges, only went to dinner twice.
Tea: the same as dinner, salad, pasta, rice, spagetti bolognes, some sort of meat, potatoes, no chips at tea time tho. only went to tea twice.
the all inclusive was the worst one ive been to, no pool snack bar that would usually give you burgers n chips, no free ice cream, only drink which were free were the pop, ouzo, raiki, brandy and larger.
There was no poolside entertainment, no entetainment on the night time. I honestly dont no how people even brougt kids to this hotel. there was nothing for them, the park was a shambles a grotty swing n two seesaws, not like the pictures on the net which show slides and other things. The pool and around the pool was o.k seemed clean and plenty of sun beds.
We went on a booze cruise, to the waterpark and rented quad bikes if we hadnt done any of these it would of truly be borin durin the day. the night life wasnt the best but we made the most of it, but Malia isnt the busiest this time of year.
all in all we enjoyed our holiday but the hotel Triton was big let down, We payed £400 each for a weak all inclusive we may aswel have booked up self catering for how much we ate out. Not the best all iclusive dnt go whit high expectations.
