I stayed at this hotel for one week with 5 other friends. The area was lovely and we met some very lovely people.
The hotel itself was very pretty, near to the beach and in a nice location. The pool area was lovely and the rooms were clean on arrival.
This was all such a pity because the staff in the hotel, in particular the male staff were very RUDE and their actions and behavior towards women was UNACCEPTABLE!
The hotel was supposed to be all inclusive but this consisted of only local 1% beer, wine and cheap watered down soft drinks which only became available from 11am-11pm. If you did not take back your glasses you were sent away and refused a drink.
One night I found myself in an argument with the hotel owner and his son regarding the glasses. They were shouting at me because I had not brought back the 'correct' glasses. There were eight of us sat outside and I had taken around 8-9 glasses back in with me. I simply asked for 4 lemonades which he refused to give me as I had only given him cocktail glasses?! (Which we had paid for on top of the all inclusive).
The owner proceeded to shout in my face saying 'you are a woman, you bring back glasses.' I was very frustrated by this and so raised my voice in return as I did not like the way I was being spoken to.
The owner (a 57-year-old man) ended up grabbing me very tightly by the wrist and holding his fist in my face screaming 'you're a woman, you're a woman' and he had to be forced away from me by a group of young men.
I had already apologized for any of my actions on the night, but the owner did not do so until the following day. His words were 'I'm sorry for last night.... I am a 57-year-old man and if my daughter shouted at me I would have PUT HER IN HOSPITAL!' I was very shocked by this statement and repeated it back to him thinking that maybe because his English was not perfect he may have chosen the wrong word. I went on to clarify that if his daughter shouted at him he would 'BEAT HER UP, AND PUT HER IN HOSPITAL!'
Me and all of my friends were very shaken up at the fact we had heard him saying this, and it was not only us, many people we had spoken to were OUTRAGED.
I think the hotel has a lot of potential but is just not being run to the correct standard what-so-ever. I was very disappointed as were many other guests.
By all means visit Tholos, it is absolutely lovely and the weather was amazing at 40 degrees! But just avoid Georgia Hotel!!! :(

just got back from a week at the georgia hotel, we had a lovely time. very basic rooms - but clean. food was fine - not great deal of choice - but something for everyone.run by a lovely family who made u most welcome. rather a steep hill to walk especially if its hot - which it was. we hired a car for the week - which was great - we were able to go and explore the island - falaraki - lots to do there, rhodes - lovely old town plenty of retail therapy, lindos - really quaint - u get to ride on a lindos taxi - a donkey - the streets arent wide enough for cars! we found restaurants on top of mountains in the middle of nowhere - on the whole a fab holiday and would def go back. Best beach we found was Agathi Beach in Haraki - proper sand! we had some fab days there - sunbeds/brolly - 7euro which we didnt think was bad at all - u could have a couple of beers and yr dinner for 10 euro! defintely need a car tho - unless yr happy round the pool and very little in the resort.

I am just back from Georgia studios at Thalos Rhodes, we booked this holiday for the peace and quiet, our children are grown up and didn't want to have any around us, we work very long days and needed a complete chill, and that is what we got.
We were met by Lucas the son of the owners, he was very polite and helpful, showed us to our room and invited us back to the bar.
The all inclusive is all inclusive lite,(you pay for what you get) as we only paid £300 each, we didn't expect 5* service.
The food was tasty and there was something for everyone however if you like puddings dont go looking for them you wont find any, nor will you find bar snacks or fruit. (again you get what you pay for, if you want it all go elsewhere)
The whole complex was spotless, rooms, pool, bar, bathrooms, dining room and kitchens, the owners made you feel very welcome and looked after you well.
The walk from the bottom of the hill is 300mtr not 100mtr, but its not a steep hill and while we were there a disabled couple stayed and managed it well.
If I had to complain it would be to say that at the begining of the week the mozzies were bad but by the end of our stay they were nearly all gone, there is no hotel entertainment out of season, but pleanty in season, also you do have to pay for the air conditioning, other than that if you want a kick back do nothing relaxing time in the sun get over there.
Rhodes town is 30 min by bus as is Falaraki and is only 2.5e there are several bars and restaurants in the village, several of which show the football for thoes that want it, there is 1 night club a kareoki bar and a coctail bar
The weather during our visit was high 90's even the locals were saying it was hot, I will be going back.

Went with my partner with the intention of staying somewhere quiet but in a good location to explore the island.....and thats what we got! We had a lovely 2 weeks!
We were met by Lucas early hours of the morning who helped carry our cases upstairs. The apartment was clean and very comfy. It was hot so we went to enquire about air conditioning as I thought it was included in price during July and August but we had to pay for it...I think it was 5 Euro a day...but well worth it!
When we woke in the morning we could then see the true beauty of our location...we were up on a hill (about a 10min walk from Tholos resort) and had views of the sea and mountains. The apartments had grassy garden areas behind one of the blocks with pomegranet trees etc. There was always a breeze coming off the sea which was great when sunbathing by the pool. So if you're in for a totally chilled holiday the location is perfect. We didn't bother with transfers either because it was only 12 euro in a taxi. Lucas at the hotel also did some taxing around for us (20 euro to Falaraki) etc. We also hired a quad bike for 4 days from one of the local hire car places (130 euros) and we managed to travel around most of the island (both north and south ends) and see alot of the sites...had lunch up in the mountains in an amazing resturant with fantastic views.
We also got the bus quite a few times into rhodes town from at the bottom of the hotels hill...they run about every half an hour (there is a timetable at bus stop and in hotel). We then got the free bus in rhodes town to the water park which was such a good day out!
The food at the hotel was brilliant. There was always plenty and we always enjoyed thoroughly!
Breakfast there was bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomato's, beans, toast, cereal, fruit, greek yoghurt, honey.
Lunch there were about 2/3 main light dishes , salad, veg
Dinner there were 2/3 main dishes, veg, salad, soup, chips, fruit, ice-cream
AI Drinks are from 11-11....these are soft drinks, local beer and wine, juice, tea and coffee. They do serve other stuff but at a price. Happy hour in the evening is buy 1 cocktail/ long drink get 1 free.
We didn't want a loud or in your face holiday this year and this place is definitly quiet! Even the resort of Tholos is quiet as most of the hotels there are All Inclusive so people only tend to venture out for supermarket bits....the bars are very quiet (some have even closed now) but there is one (which we canr remember the name!!!) that was quite good fun...it had karaoke and Elvis singing!!! We had a night out in Falaraki though (at a cost of taxis) which was completely the opposite of Tholos.
The beach in Tholos is very windy and shingly. So if you want to go in the sea you'll need sea shoes. Because of the wind the sea is quite choppy...(ideal for water sports) so if you've got small children its not really ideal as they couldn't really paddle in it as its too strong. The sea water is lovely and blue though. We found some fantastic little beaches both on the west (further south) and east side of the island.....the further north you go and you hit the busier resorts on the outskirts of rhodes town....very built up.
We loved this hotel and place as it was perfect for what we wanted to do and we found it truely relaxing. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome and comfortable.

After booking our holiday I did a silly thing and read the reviews on this site. We were then a bit worried. On arrival we breathed a huge sigh of relief! Met at 2am by the son, Luke. Shown to our lovely new looking apartment. Woke next day to an amazing view down to the sea. Everywhere is so clean. The food was fantastic, family and staff amazing(Luke even booked our hire car for us). With only about 35 apartments you could always get a sun lounger by the pool. There is a very relaxed feel to the place and our girls 15 and 17 made great friends. We did go to Rhodes (old town is brill) and Lindos(great coves for snorkelling) but I tell you now you appreciate the hotel location when you get back because it is about 10 degrees hotter on the east which was almost too hot to do anything. Being up on that hill on the west brings a lovely gentle breeze to still hot but more managable heat. Pool popular choice on return.
Only 5 minute walk to road. Buses good and taxi to Rhodes only 20 euros.
Table tennis and pool table for kids aswell as few games on lawn.
We had a fantastic time and will go back for certain.
Wish i was there now!

Well when we first arrived our names were not even on their list, so we got put temporarily into a dingy ground floor room that was so small you couldn't even swing a mouse in it let alone a cat.
The following day we had breakfast for the first and last time, it was rubbery and disgusting. We then found out it was all inclusive light, most of the drinks we had to pay for, even bottled water which is disgraceful. The food was the worst I have ever tasted, we ended up living on sandwiches from the shop at the bottom of the very steep hill. A holiday that originally cost us £400 each ended up costing us nearly £600 I could of gone to Cuba, all inclusive for that.
The maids didn't clean our room or change our towels, our food was often raw too. It was my first holiday alone without my parents and it turned out to be the worst holiday of my life, there was no entertainment, it was sooo boring. The only plus was the pool but that is it. The staff were rude, especially the young lads.
I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place, there should be rules to open a hotel, and if there was this wouldn't be. Unless you want to lose weight from not eating and be bored out of your head do not go here.

When we arrived we were literally just shown to the room and that was it. No one informed us of the times of the meals.
The staff were not very friendly and alot of people agreed with us.
As for all inclusive, there was no food available between breakfast, lunch and dinner, so if you got hungry you will have to take a walk down the supermarket.
Only house wine and local beer or juices were on offer between 11am and 11pm.
For an evening meal (as the food in the hotel was much the same every night), we went down to Mike's Restaurant which is about a 20 minute walk away.
The food and service is wonderful.
On the plus side, the views are lovely and the swimming pool was clean.
Other than that, I wouldn't rush to go back!

Just returned from these apartments very clean plenty of sunbeds, only downside was we were all inclusive on arrival told we were all inclusive light?
We didn’t know what that means either well we will enlighten you :7-9am breakfast 12.3-2pm lunch 7-9pm dinner 11am-11pm beer, wine that tastes like vinegar soft drinks water from dispenser.ice cream only served at meal times.
Bottle water you have to pay for. All spirits even locally produced have to be paid for at 3 Euros each.(don’t forget coke is free even though it tastes watered down!)
Only 5 Euros at supermarket for litre bottles of spirits. Food consists of chips/salad/some sort of meat!
Don’t forget the flies they get first sitting as they open the windows just before they let you in. Would be better if they had air con instead of opening windows.
Don’t recommend if you have children as 10-15 min walk to supermarket which seems along way when you have a steep hill to walk back up to apartments.
Visit to Rhodes town is a must 2 Euros on bus.

The description given of the Georgia aparthotel is totally misleading ...The hotel is at the top of a vey long and winding steep hill which is not for suitable anyone with walking difficulties or elderly in fact it took us all our time to walk to the hotel.
The all inclusive package included only wine and beer and the food is the worst l have ever experienced... if you like cardboard pizza and belly pork then this is the place for you. There was no snacks or facilities for making them and the town was a good 15 min walk away, if your fit.. if not give yourself 25min.
We have just spent 2 weeks there and l have to say it will go down as the worst holiday ever spent anywhere, let alone Greece. There was a total of 5 in our party and after booking all inclusive all our spending money went on food and drink eaten out.
As for hair-dryers, mini bars etc. forget it...you get basic accommodation and very basic school dinner food in fact l wouldn't even feed my kids it. The most luxurious meal we had in 2 weeks was spaghetti bolognese which was again cheap and nasty.
All in all l have to say it was most disappointing and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband and I wanted a quiet holiday for our first wedding anniversary. Pros: Clean Friendly staff Gorgeous food (bit repetitive. So if you fancy a change, Mikes at the bottom of the road was great. Big portions and value for money). Clean pool Rooms had new furniture and a TV with 4/5 channels Local bus at the end of the road to Rhodes (Rodos). Stay on the bus until it parks up at the station and buy your return ticket at the station office, or you wont get home! Cons: Air con is not included unless it tells you on your hotel voucher (depends who you book with) On a hill Flies by the pool (they come from the olive trees at the side) Hornets (Worse than a wasp sting)! No entertainment No activities (only crazy golf in the hotel at the bottom of the road, 4Euros each) Play the same CD (they take no offence if you ask them to turn it over, otherwise its on a loop)! Same food (over 2wks) If you are a sun worshiper, then go on this holiday 2wks into June for the better weather, can get a bit overcast. All Inclusive Light means exactly that. Drinks with breakfast and then 11am-11pm. Coffee, Tea, soft drinks and the local wine and beer only. No spirits. Fags are pretty much the same as the shops at 29Euros for 200. In their defence the hotel has been running for 15 years as self catering. The local hotels have gone all inc so they are giving it a go to. If you are into books, take a trip to the bottom of the road and turn left until you come to Mikes restaurant. Right next door is a shop owned by a British couple. You can buy a book for 1Euro or exchange one for one of yours! They are also the only shop locally that sell traditional table cloths. My only advice is that the kids did get bored, so they need a friend. Games for the pool are pretty cheap from the shop at the end of the road. So overall we had a great holiday and met some really nice people that helped enjoy the holiday more. If you don’t like walking - don’t bother, and if you are looking for a lively resort and night life - look else where. It’s a nice relaxing place! Don’t bother with transfers, its approx 12Euros from the airport (15mins) in a taxi. Hope you all have a good holiday as we did

Have just returned from one week there, and was very disappointed. First of all we had to pay for air conditioning, secondly I expect the bin in the toilet to be changed every day (need I say more!!) - once every 3 days is not good and thirdly had to wait for 5 days for clean towels and bedding and was then told I had stained one of the towels and had to pay 10 euros!!!!! I was definitely ripped off and when I said I didnt have 10 euros he checked my purse and said he would take me to the cash machine and if I did not pay then he would get the police. The owner always watched like a hawk when people got their food. and when I asked for some butter to go with the bread at lunchtime he said "only at breakfast time". All in all, this is not a hotel for the young ones, he definitely has a downer on the young, its not for families with young children, he does not cater for them, ideal for middle aged (like me) but if you are not dead when you get there, you will be by the time you go home as the steep hill will kill you!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE, not good.
