Golden Star Hotel Apartments

Stayed at this hotel for only 2 nights of a fourteen night stay and was my first two nights of my holiday. Description on web pages makes sound like your own wee oasis of paradise which couldn't be further from the truth!
You are only about 5-10 minute walk to the Main street of Tingaki but to get there you have to walk in the pitch black, and I mean you can’t see your hand in front of you, it is that dark and you either have the option going past demonic dogs or if you go the other way by cows!
On the first day of arriving we had an army of ants coming from under our fridge. The second day we couldn't wait to get out! On our return we had thousands roaming the floor and the work surfaces but after staying out all day we just shut our bedroom door and went to sleep only to be awoken through the night by sound of two cockroaches communicating to each other and to make things worse my fiancée had been bitten thirteen times on the one leg from the knee down! Due to these bites which inflamed we had to make countless trips to the doctor's and chemist due to them getting infected!
On complaining to the hotel the manager, she kept saying "what you want me to do?". It was only after about 30minutes of complaining that she said "we could give you another room" but even that was done as a second thought!
To make matter's worse on leaving, we found an excellent 5star hotel in the heart Tingaki that was actually cheaper than the insect farm of Golden Star!
