Beautiful hotel, well furbished, comfort and luxury well combined, staff were friendly, rooms kept clean (they even did my washing up), I had a fantastic room except for the bed being two singles pushed together. The ski lifts were only a couple hundred meters away, I recommend hiring a locker at the gondola station so that you can walk to the station in comfort. The runs suitable for beginners and experienced. The food was great, sometimes random, but only the ultra fussy would not be satisfied. The leisure facilities were really nice at the end of the day, Jacuzzi bath, sauna (steam rooms weren’t working) and there were towels available to everyone. There was a hotel opposite that gave messages etc. There were some great bars around that stayed open very late. The atmosphere was good, welcoming to Brits!! The prices of everything I experienced was reasonable, the shops sold alcohol and cigarettes considerably cheaper but in the restaurants they were similar to prices in England. The village itself was not quaint in comparison to Austria but it was not offensive in any way. There were many mountain restaurants serving a tasty hot chocolate and brandy. Everyone that we needed to communicate with (instructors, hotel staff etc) spoke goo enough English to communicate effectively.
