Just returned from this hotel yesterday just want 2 warn every1 never to go to this hotel we went with 3 kids nothing for them to do no entertainment for them and they are defo not child freindly the spanish people slapped the kids faces pulled there hair all because they were going up a lift wen i confronted the manager i was told that was ok. They constantly complained about the kids splashing in the pool and having no shoes on. The spanish even punshed a holiday maker and kicked them out of the hotel and the holiday maker was a girl for having a arugement with her boyfriend. The hotel rooms were very basic you werent aloud to even fart without the manager complaning about the noise lol. Our mirror fell by accident and wee had to pay 40 euros so if you are going check your mirros are in one peace. The snacks were the same everyday the food was the same everyday fish all the time wee survied on chips and you were getting kicked out the bar at 12 oclock didnt even get to finish your last drink. The workers are very arrogant they only decent one was luca the only good thing i got out of my holiday was the people i met and everybody i spoke to said they would never be back so just warning never go on holiday here

Returned from Tossa beach hotel 2 days ago and will be in no hurry to return!
Positives
*Tossa de mar is absolutely beautiful and on arrival we was really impressed with the hotel, the décor is lovely and it is spotlessly clean.
*The bar staff are friendly
*Close to beach and town.
Negatives.
* They advertises as a family friendly hotel, but do not like children who make noise or run about and the manager will approach you telling you to not let the run around or make noise . We travelled in a group with a total of 5 children ranging from 1 to 14 were made to feel very uncomfortably by the staff so spent as much time as possible away from the hotel which resulted in spending a small fortune.
* Kids club which they have posters for every where is a boy sat in the corner with his lap top who will give the kids colouring if asked.
* No high chairs with straps in restaurant resorted to using a belt to keep Baby safe whilst eating.
* No safe areas to allow baby to run about, area near pool very narrow and stairs in and out of every area.
* No travel cot provided by hotel.
* Awful entertainment in evening, the only all inclusive bar I have ever seen near on empty every night as quests would rather go out and spend money than sit in the hotel.
* The hotel is as I said spotlessly clean but you are made to feel very comfortable by the cleaner if she thinks you may make a mess.An example of this is when we was sitting by the window in the bar and my Baby was touching the window knocking to kids outside, the cleaner marched over tutted at me and cleaned the window moving the baby out of the way. She also stalks the toilets giving people dirt looks as the go in and sweeps up around peoples feet in the bar not evening waiting for you to vacate the area.
* You can not even finish a drink before they are hoovering round waiting for the glass.
* On first impressions my thoughts were the food was ok, however after 7 days of eating the same thing day and night We all went off it.
I would return to Tossa de mar but never this hotel.

We arrived at our destination at 1.00 in the morning and were really thirsty but there were no drinks available. There was no kettle, tea and coffee in our room to make a drink either. I cant fault the hotel on cleanliness and the food was adequate. Most of the staff were friendly and helpfull. The pool was so cold that we didnt go in it the whole week, but it was October. The evening entertainment was poor with only a disco. kareoke or bingo on offer on alternate nights, all entertainment and bars in the hotel finish at 12.00. The snack bar served toasties, hotdogs and chips inbetween meals which was quite good. The excursions are really expensive and all a long way from the area. We went to Barcelona which was an hour and a half on a coach, then on to Camp Nou, which took another hour by bus. The whole day cost us around £300 euros and as a result we could not afford any other excursions during our week stay. There is a lovely clean beach with stunning views and we went on a glass bottom boat trip around the bay which was lovely. We found a nice English pub which showed English programmes like X Factor and football matches which was owned by a nice couple called Mick and Julie, worth a visit. All in all the holiday was good value for money but we did get a bit bored towards the end of the week. The shuttle coach pick up to the airport was awfull, it took 2 hours and we had to stop at several other hotels as well, it was hot and by the time we got to the airport i felt really sick. We met some lovely people on this holiday but i dont think i would go there again.

Just returned after a day break this is a lovely hotel very clean outside and in.The meals are of good standard always something to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. The weather in october was warm during the day but cold at night but rooms have heating and extra blankets. There was entertainment every night we spent few nights over at the tossa centre hotel where they have quiz night and bingo all entertaiment finishes at midnight so if your wanting to party all night dont go to tossa.Tossa is a lovely little quiet place nice shops friendly people probably best suited to over 30yrs would definately go back as we had such a relaxing holiday.

Awful place. Manager is rude, threatening & intimidating. When the curtain rail in our room fell down (by the wind, we were in bed!)we were forced to pay for it. We tried to discuss it but all he would say was "you pay, we have your passport, we call the police, you miss your flight."
Don't try to enjoy yourself, merely speaking in anything above a whisper after 11pm results in aggressive warnings from the manager of eviction. This happened to many other people I spoke to there and I have seen similar reviews on the net since returning. The ploy is clearly to scare poeple so they can't risk hanging around the hotel for fear of eviction. This way they won't consume the all-inclusive drink.
Food is DREADFUL, the pool area is 75% shaded and the manager patrols the hotel like an over-zealous prison guard making you feel uncomfortable all the time.
Overall a horrible holiday experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here about 3 weeks ago and had a lovely time. It took us a long time to find a hotel on this website that had even a few good reviews. We booked this a week in advance and just prayed that it was reasonable. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely and new, recently renovated. Always incredibly clean and extremely friendly, helpful staff. The food was moderate and on about the 5th day of our holiday we were pretty sick of it. However the breakfasts were great and alcohol is available from 10am-12am and quite frankly you can have as much of whatever you want. There is also snacks eg burgers, chips etc available all day. The hotel is about a six minute walk from the beach and the town of Tossa de Mar is incredibly beautiful. Amazing old walled town and lovely beaches. The only thing was there wasn't much good entertainment either in the hotel or in the town. This mattered to us as we are in our early twenties, but probably wouldn't if you were older. Really great holiday and would absolutey recommend to anyone for a realistic three star beach holiday. ps We stayed in the Tossa Beach 'Centre' which while is part of the Beach Hotel just across the road it seemed nicer and pretty much the same price.

This hotel is very nice, food is fabulos, staff are also very kind and helpful. We stayed for 7days and had a lovely time we will be going back. The only bad thing is the girl who does the enterainment was awlful bless her she tryed but was jus very rubbish upside to this there is a disco and other entertainment so not that bad!!!!

Having booked the Holiday via the Internet way back in January, we were most upset (understatement) to find that, having driven from the West Midlands,we were not booked in.
It appears that the Company we booked it through,Holidayrooms.net, were having problems transferring the monies from their Account to the Hotels Account.
We were asked to pay 60euros per person for the first night,or until they received the money,or we would be out on the street.
In the end the Reception Staff agreed to keep our passports instead after I refused to pay.
I phoned the emergency number and was told that if I paid the Hotel, they would refund the full amount in 3 working days to my Bank.
This was a joke, everytime we saw a member of the Hotel's Staff, we were asked If we had paid yet, this in front of other guests.
By Wednesday, the money still hadn't been put back into my Account,so we decided enough was enough, paid for the nights we'd had and checked out.
As for the Hotel itself, well, you gets what you pay for...we were given wrist bands for the All Inclusive part and were told "you can only have 2 drinks at one time from the bar"
The Lager being served in small plastic tumblers. The food was OK I spose and the Staff,in general, were friendly and supportive after we had got through to them what the problem was.
To say the least we will NOT be staying at this Hotel in the future and certainly NOT booking through Rommsnet.com

We stayed at this Hotel in October 2011 for one week. I enjoyed it and everything was good except that I would rate food only satisfactory. The food wasn't terrible, but it was kind of bland and quite repetitive so it grew old after a couple days. Otherwise, all was good. We had great time. The staff were very nice, cleanliness was very good, the location of the hotel is perfect. For the price, it's really a great deal. We will definitely comeback in the future.
