We visited this hotel during August 2011.
When we arrived, we were put in Lindos Village.
Discusting rooms. A balkony you have to share with other people. Strangers.
The rooms were smelly, dirty and when we got another room, I had to go back to get the suitcases: THEY WERE PAITING THERE. check out the pictures on ZOOVER NL and BE
Unbelievable. Not woorth your money. Check out other hotels in the area Much MUCH better! We travel a lot to Rhodes and NEVER experiences such BAD HOTEL!

  • Advice: It is no IBEROSTAR ANYMORE!

Had a fabulous time here. Great little room, incredible clean. Hotel amenities were very good, everything we needed. Only thing that let the hotel down was the samey food options- stunning breakfasts, but lunch and dinner became a little boring.
Lindos town is not to be missed, visit Ambrosia restaurant for fabulous local food, amazing service. Antika bar was an incredible night out. Lindos beach is stunning.
A fabulous area and hotel- booking again ;]

We have just arrived back from a week at the Iberostar Lindos Royal and were very sad to leave. The location is about 6km from Lindos town itself, but it didn't matter one bit. The hotel overlooks a beautiful bay with crystal clear waters, which is no more than a 1 minute walk from the pool area. There is also a shingle beach a short walk away.
We had a junior suite with sea view, which had plenty of room, with a living area on the first floor (with two singles beds that acted as the couch) and bedroom area upstairs. The food was good, with a variety to suit even the fussiest eaters. There is plenty to do in the day time, as there is an animation team that cater for all ages - volleyball, water polo, salsa classes etc. Every evening is "Showtime" with some very good acts and music.
We were originally staying half board, but decided to upgrade to All Inclusive on arrival, which only cost 18 Euros each per day - it was well worth it.
Lindos is a beautiful place with amazing scenery and we are definitely going to visit again and stay at the same hotel.
The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioning wasn't that good, but upon speaking to some of the staff, all the rooms are receiving upgrades at the end of the season.

Stayed here for 1 week all inclusive...

Stayed here for 1 week all inclusive at end of May 07 with husband and 12 year old daughter. Excellent hotel. It is very remote (we did know this before we went) and is about 7km from Lindos (which is the best place on the island).
You need to get a taxi which costs about 7-10 euros into Lindos it is still very Greek.
The food is good quality with lots of choice and the hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The animation team made my daughters holiday (thanks to Neil - Italian and Ben - French). They worked very hard every day to make sure everybody enjoyed themselves. We did have a Beatles band one night (which was very good for the adults) but the other night’s entertainment was by the animation team.
The hub of the hotel is the very lovely pool area. If you want a quiet location outside of a main resort then this is ideal.
If you are looking for a lively place with bars and restaurants then this is not the hotel to stay at. Overall we had a brilliant time and will go back early next year.
