We have just arrived back from a week at the Iberostar Lindos Royal and were very sad to leave. The location is about 6km from Lindos town itself, but it didn't matter one bit. The hotel overlooks a beautiful bay with crystal clear waters, which is no more than a 1 minute walk from the pool area. There is also a shingle beach a short walk away.
We had a junior suite with sea view, which had plenty of room, with a living area on the first floor (with two singles beds that acted as the couch) and bedroom area upstairs. The food was good, with a variety to suit even the fussiest eaters. There is plenty to do in the day time, as there is an animation team that cater for all ages - volleyball, water polo, salsa classes etc. Every evening is "Showtime" with some very good acts and music.
We were originally staying half board, but decided to upgrade to All Inclusive on arrival, which only cost 18 Euros each per day - it was well worth it.
Lindos is a beautiful place with amazing scenery and we are definitely going to visit again and stay at the same hotel.
The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioning wasn't that good, but upon speaking to some of the staff, all the rooms are receiving upgrades at the end of the season.
