Arrived at 6.30 am 3+hours late (as usual with Thomas Cook) almost impossible to find by taxi driver, room (604) highest + nosiest in the hotel( on the roof in fact), facing the main motorway into Kusadasi , I find it almost impossible to find 1 positive thing to say about this place. whoever awarded it 3 * was a comedian , building ugly and decrepit , pool dangerously deep and filthy, rooms are akin to a hostel.

The place is NOT family OR couple friendly, you need to be from Romania or Poland to have any chance of survival here, they are rude, nasty, ignorant, bad mannered VERY GREEDY , I could go on all night, it was booked by Rego Bis and Perontour for dysfunctional teenagers and boy did we pay for it, the poor staff where fabulous and how they coped I never know, I would advise Brits to NEVER EVER consider booking here, on a + side, Long beach 15 minute walk , easy even in 100 degree heat, water park was sound , boat trip great, and a bizarre turn right and walk for 5 minutes, great fake clothing market and gifts 16 hours a day 7 days a week, best point for us was finding the YELLOW ROSE BAR , near hotel grand ozcelik, great food , great COLD beer Karaoke nites and staff are great, TImour is a fab host, don't be put off by Kusadasi it fine , just not in Yonca and when its Poland and Romania shut down season.

No one tells you the ‘C’ in Yonca is pronounced J in Turkey, so most people don’t know what your talking about if you pronounce it as a ‘C’.

The hotel: clean, basic, there are no cooking facilities in the room, not even a kettle. No problem they do food, it’s basic and expensive for what you can get at other establishments locally and in Kusadasi which is a 5 km ride away. Only the bedroom of the apartment has air conditioning so you could move the sofabed into the bedroom if you wanted to, you also need mozzie repellent.

Apart from Turkey not having plumbing that can cope with toilet tissue and all toilet tissue being collected in bucket by the loo, and marble surfaces everywhere which quickly become a slip hazard around swimming pools, its ok. We were told that this hotel hasn’t had English guests for some time and there was definitely a language barrier, lots of east European and Turkish guests, not a problem but as English in the hotel your down on the list of priorities because of the language, although if you can make yourself understood, eventually the staff are accommodating.

The hotel is situated on a residential complex surrounded by holiday villas; the swimming pool by the way is very deep no shallow end! But it does have a very small baby pool but nothing for the in-between learner. Yes you are 350 metres from long beach but its far too hot in August (40deg) to walk to it, so its better to get the dolmus bus 2 lira each and when you get there its impossible to sit on the sand its too hot and your constantly hassled to hire a sunbed and shade, so take your money!!

Customer service not a big thing here, no cold beer!! Which is unheard of elsewhere in Kusadasi for friendliness, good, basic, well cooked, reasonably priced food, turn left right, left and 500yds down to the (family run) Reis market and shop, Michael and Ismael and family - like the English customer and there is always a cold beer!!! They are friendly and helpful in lots of ways and football mad, but the taverna is family orientated.

Goldtrail - you get what you pay for I suppose, a 2hr coach transfer from Bodrum to Kusadasi doesn’t sound to bad sitting in England, but on a rickety charabanc on poor mountain roads in 25degree plus heat after delays its not pleasant, and the transfer back was badly planned ,we made our own way back in the end.

On the whole it was an experience, that’s what holidays are about, there’s a lot for people to do and see. I would go back but not in August.

Just back from Turkey, stayed at Yonca apts, had brilliant time - staff very helpful.

It was our first time in Turkey and would highly recommend it. Beaches are excellent. We took 2 kids who also had great time. Apts were basic but had everything you need. They were clean and well equipped. You could eat at the restaurant within the apts, food was good and very reasonable priced.
