all i can say is this......... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE TO STAY - I HAVE SEEN CLEANER AND BETTER EQUIPPED HOSTELS FOR THE HOMELESS.
the walls were damp and mouldy, the beds damp and crawling with bugs, there was grease and dirt on all the surfaces in the kitchen, the only equipment in the kitchen was 3 dirty spoons, an old pot and a couple of cups - there was no kettle and the so called shop didn't open until lunchtime; the fridge was broken, the sofa beds totally inadequate and they were damp too, dirty sheets and towels, the bathroom was well past its sell by date. the doors didn't close properly and the windows were very hard to open; the carpeted CONCRETE floor had a dip in it and the carpet (yes, carpet!) was dirty too - there's a surprise!!!
The dining tables had dirty plastic table cloths on them, the food was poor and the reception area not good - passports were put in pigeon holes on the wall behind a counter where anyone could get them. To top it all, the Palm Club is situated on a very busy main road with nothing else around it - the hotel owner stated that there was only one other place to eat; the beach is fairly close but very dirty.
The rep had to move a total of 9 people in one day and another 2 were moved a couple of days later. Book at your own peril - I wouldn't suggest this place to a tramp!!
