Fantastic
from LaniWrexham
We arrived at Arora at 4am on a sunday morning and were promptly checked in by the night staff and offered refreshments. We had to be put into 2 rooms for the first night and were told that we would be moved into one room the following day when the admin staff were there. This was done promptly with the greatest of ease the following day. The only thing I would say is that if you are a family then make sure that you book a family room as it's ok if you traveling with one small child but two is pushing it a bit. It was the first week of the season so the beach wasn't quite as expected but ok by the end of the fortnight. the food is really good but typical turkish, don't expect a full english for breakfast, if you want that you might as well stay at home. The staff are all friendly, they love children. It's a short bus ride into kusadasi centre where there are shops and bars galore, I can recomend the Casablanca, the staff here are fantastic and will even pick you up from your hotel free of charge and drop you back at the end of the night if you want. Over all a really enjoyable holiday and the local people and all the staff at the hotel and at the bars made it even more special.
Nothing to write home about!

Returned from a weeks holiday in the Arora Hotel with my sister. The hotel was clean and the food was tasty and plentiful and would suit most palates. There is no full English breakfast available, but continental, cereal and toast for breakfast suited us. Unfortunately, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and when we asked if a kettle could be made available we were told categorically that there was no need as the hotel could provide us with everything we needed…at an inflated cost of course! You are not allowed to bring food/drink into the hotel and they state that they have the right to charge you for any goods brought in…. easily bypassed though by smuggling them in your beach bag, then smuggling the empties out again. Actually you had to do a bit of smuggling as the mini market was basically a cleaning cupboard full of useless stuff covered in two layers of dust ! One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was it stated it had its own beach…forget it. Due to the winter storms (ok not their fault) the beach was totally unusable, rubbish and rubble strewn along it. However catch the mini buses to ‘Ladies Beach’ and you can’t go wrong, lovely beach, cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. I incurred big problems with my return taxi journey, again not their fault, but I needed to send a fax and the hotel’s was broken. I was offered no alternative or suggestions where I could send one from, no concern was shown apart from a shrug of the shoulders. If your female and single then BEWARE…you have been warned!!! We endured bombardment of invites from SOME of the waiters to pick us up and take us into town, go and visit their house, asking what our plans are for the day then suggesting that they come along. This bordered on harassment, so much so that we felt unable to sit in peace in the lounge or pool area! There is nowhere to stroll out at night, as the hotel is situated on a busy duel carriageway, it is very residential and is certainly not what I class as a’ holiday resort’. The hotel is visited by a lot of polish people, who are errmmm quite noisy and loud! Nothing was said when they partied until the early hours around the pool side bar keeping people awake, but upon giggling when entering one night (after visiting the lovely ‘Yellow Rose’ bar) we were told to ‘hush’ and be quite…double standards maybe! This is just our experience and we did visit early season, but when paying for facilities that the hotel states it supplies, I expect to get them! However, read the other reviews and make your own mind up but I will definitely NOT be returning and will definitely NOT recommend the hotel.!
Wonderfull place
from BoboneROGL
I went to Arora Hotel, Turkey, in September 2007. What I have found there was a wonderfull place. The staff made this possible for me, although they didn't speak a fluent english. Even the manager was quite friendly, always paying attention to all your needs. The location of the hotel si very nice, I could add some photos. The hotel is very clean, well-managed and taken care of every day, the food is great and various, the pools are clean and always with fresh water, and also the turkish bath is great. Everything there, from staff to landview, will make your stay there perfect.
Fantastic view of the bus bay and smell of the waste of Aegean sea...

Make sure you have a high floor room or nothing else. The other rooms faces the road and it will be dusty in the morning and evening when the tour buses start their engines. A walk around the area show you restaurants that did not make it. Do not buy beer from the hotel (6 ytl for 330ml Efes) as a short walk out will get you a better bargain (2.5 ytl for 500 ml). Lobby staff cannot manage crowd at all. See pictures. Perhaps it is the RENK TRAVEL that STANK big time. This local tour agent gets you lousy rooms and collaborates with exile sales shops. Do not give you time for the famous tour sites so that they can get more commission out of you when you get ripped off for your purchases.
Very Impressed

Me and my boyfriend went here last year for our anniversary. It was our first holiday by ourselves (we were 17) and we were extremely impressed! We walked in at 5am and the hotel was bright and clean. The receptionist even ordered us some complimentary sandwhiches. The rooms were farely large and we had a lovely view from our balcony. The staff were mostly friendly and tried their best to understand and talk english. The beach was small but wasnt crowded or busy. Infact it was rather perfect and exceeded my expectations. The only downfall of the hotel was the fact you couldnt bring your own food or drink into the hotel... but you can easily sneak it! Occassionally the outside music was loud and seemed to go on rather late but that only happened occassionally. Overall we were very very impressed and are DEFINITELY considering going again!
a brilliant relaxing holiday
from MissLiss1
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two weeks at the end of september and have a fantastic time. The hotel was really nice and very clean. The bar staff where brilliant and would do anything for you lots of good english and traditional turkish music. We stayed bed and breakfast but rarely ate breakfast that often as where still asleep....but it was ok but not really to our taste! Pool was lovely and quiet and always got a sunbed. The view from our balcony was brilliant with views of the bay which had many watersports..we advise you try parasailing!!!!!! The town center was only a 5 minute bus ride and had all different kinds of shops, bars, resterants etc. Overall the hotel was brilliant and i would definatly recomend it. The only thing i would warn people about is that they are very strict on you taking food into the hotel..not even water!!! and as we where only b&b was was a problem for us but we just took a big beach bag out with us and sneaked food in!!!!! but overall a brialliant holiday and a lovely hotel!
A boring Arora!1

Stayed at this hotel on my first trip to Turkey and although clean and tidy I cant say there is anything else good to say about it. The manager/owner, had no people skills, and was rude and arrogant. In fact the majority of the staff were surly and plain rude and unhelpful. Bless the cleaner who made up for all the rest! The techno music pumped out from early in the morning until late meant that sunbathing by the pool was not an option.. Breakfast was ok we didnt try dinner even tho we booked half board, mainly because we were not willing to spend any more time than necessary there. Met some nice people, who all agreed that they wouldnt be going back there. Kusadasi was lovely am going back to get married there next year, but gladly not sadly staying at this hotel!!
LOVED THE HOTEL
from NatalieMKusadasi
i stayed in this hotel 28 april-12 may.... and again 10-17 july i thought this hotel was fantastic, the staff are amazing...they'r english was understandable, dont forget they are learning! ..and they are VERY friendly. i think it depends on the type of person u are to comment on how the staff work with the public! entertainment was brilliant throughout the day and night...i cant see how this hotel can be complained about. i think we forget when we are on holiday that the staff work bloody hard to give us excellent service throughout our stay especially during those hot summer days...they made sure i was welcome, im going back yet again in september...as i have never experienced a hotel in kusadasi like this one! the gym isn't non-existant...and the pools are lovely and are cleaned every late night, the food is fresh everyday and superb.
Ok, but NOT 4 star
from sarahg1
Quite plesent, the sea view was lovely, but don't be fooled by the 'gym' it is none exsistant. The pool was lovely, but they insisted on playing music really, really, really loud all day long. The staff don't speak English and are quite unfriendly. The private beach isn't much either. The town is far away and costs 10 euros to get there and back, although you can get a bus for a lot cheaper. If this is 4 star them I'm Thierry Henry x
Cozy little place

I stayed in Arora for 8 days for a leadership training. This hotel is new, just built last summer; therefore, it is in a very good condition. Staff is very nice and helpful although most of them do not speak English. There is a wonderful Turkish bath, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, hair salon, and fitness. Although quite nice I wouldn't give Arora 4 stars which it claims. There are no complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Fitness center is combined with a disco and the rooms are quite simple. Hotel is comfortable though and has magnificent views of the Agean sea and a small private beach. It is located about 15 minutes by bus from the center of Kusadasi. Very tasty food!
Everythıng was just perfect for us: frıendly personnel, good varıous cuısıne, accurate rooms. Though terrıtory ıs not bıg, ıt ıs not crowdy. 3 mınutes walk to beach, whıch ıs sandy and cozy (and ıts always enough umbrellas and mattresses for everybody). If you... more
