I feel the need to warn anybody who is thinking of booking this hotel in the future. We booked a 2 week all inclusive mid September.
We arrived at 1.30am and was met (sorry woke up a man we later found out to be the owner name unknown as he only grunted for the most part) led to our room a double bed and the biggest bunk beds adorned the room allong with the ants. We dropped of our baggage and went down to the reception to get a drink the man with no name opened the shop and sold us a bottle of water. Luckly we had a car and drove the 2 miles as the advert had told us which turned out to be 8.5 KMS into Lardos.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so at first you think that’s no problem because being all inclusive there will be evening entertainment!!!!!!not a chance.
The entertainment team left on 5 Sept (this was not stated in the web advertisement)The food was by far the worst thing. It was luke warm nearly cold in fact I had a salad which turned out to be warmer than the chips! The only good thing about the meals was the ice cream.
There was no information in the hotel about the island;
Drinks in our AI
beer, brandy, ozo. tea and coffee only between 4-5pm fizzy drinks.
snacks -None
over all the worst hotel that i have ever stayed at. and the only reason its has a 1 rating is that there is not a nought on the form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you want a quiet relaxing hol this is the place to go! no english people but lovely english speaking staff. rooms are basic like anywhere in rhodes, its a place to sleep! quiet beach so your not packed in like sardines! lovely! great breeze to keep cool, but still hot hot hot! the food is lovely and the pool is cold! exelent to cool down. if you want to get out and about you can hire a car. they pick you up and drop you off. I hired a quad for 50 euros a day, great fun to get around and easier to park! there is nothing down south but if you like the country side like me there are wonderful veiws! heaven! really enjoyed it here and will be going again and taking the kids to! they would love to have more english people so go on and book it! take no notice of past reviews in 2007, i found it to be clean and tidy. oh and theres NO bugs on or around the beach unlike lardos! fantastic!

This was a most pleasent hotel situated just south of Kiotari. The hotel on the whole was quite basic but a welcoming environment to be in. The rooms were of a good size and complete with a balcony, tables and chairs. Aircondtioning was included and was great for getting some sleep at night.
The hotel was in walking distance to (unfortuately) a shingle beach with sunbeds. However we were with two young children who were more than happy to be by the swimming pool everyday.
The food was very good with a reasonable selection of meals. The salads were expeptional and very well presented every meal time. Breakfast was basic with cereals and a small selection of meats, scrambled egg etc. The staff were very pleasent and very accomodating. If you don't speak much Greek as we didn't you may struggle, however most of them understood basic English.
I would recomend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to relax and not do much for a week or two and don't mind being out of the way from any major resorts. Car Hire is available direct from the hotel starting at 35.00 Euro a day and 75.00 Euro for a three day deal so being able to travel to other resorts is not impossible.
There was also a very good bus service running to nearby Lindos everyday. 2.00 Euros each way. 15.00 Euros in a Taxi.

Taxi from airport was 40 Euro's as opposed to the 100.00 sterling TR wanted for transfers, 40 minute taxi ride to Kiotari.
Clean and modern hotel, original room bit old fashioned and dingy bathroom with no natural light. Had major problem with no hot water for 4 days, when the manager eventually moved us to a refurbished room (much nicer) with hot water. Hotel had problems with solar heated water and alot of people were complaining for the 4 days it took to fix.
Staff were friendly and helpful if a it slow to actually DO anything. Food was typical A/I, ok to start with but a bit repetitive when the dinner from the night before was recycled for three days.
Beach at Kiotari 100 yrds from hotel, very stony and not ideal for sunning the white bits or young kids. Beach bar wasn't open as was too early in the season.
Beer was cheap and cheerful, wine was undrinkable, nearly took the enamel off my pearly whites, only Metaxa and Ouzo included in a/I, no other spirits or snacks/ice cream included.
Bus stop at end of road, 100 yards, good regular services to all parts of Rhodes and worth the effort.
Glystra beach is amazing and 15 min bus ride away, Lindos 30 mins on the bus and Falaraki 2 hours!
Would go back if cheap enough, but only if guaranteed hot showers every day!

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in 20 years. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere. Hotel was awful, food was terrible - no hot or cold plates in restuarant - flies over the food (which was awful anyway).
Only stayed 3 days - had to call back to Uk to arrange to get moved to different accomadation as the rep in rhodes town was no help at all - she just advised us that greek people eat cold food!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cost us over £500 to move to another hotel- there were also another 3 parties paid to get moved also. We have never been reimbursed for this - YOUtravel were really unhelpful & more or less advised that were not missold this holiday..
hotel staff not nice, bar & pool area shabby & had to pay for tea and coffee & icecreams. We were starving as food inedible...beach awful . no entertainment at all when we were there..
crap hotel & CRAP holiday company............

First of all dropped off by the coach at 430am in the morning and told we had to make our own way to the hotel which was 2 miles down the road, with a wheelchair and 2 grand children, aged 3 and 7, plus suitcases.
Food was cold, full of flies in dining room and cats on tables when unoccupied.Light all inclusive? Never heard of it but this place does it. Beer, brandy from 11am -11pm. Tea coffee and snacks you have to pay for during the day.
We asked to rent a fridge, it never came. Wife needs insulin cooled!
What a mess. To top it all, no entertainment. Nothing to do, nowhere to go. No excursions.
We were glad to get back home. After travelling the last 35 years, this has got to be the worst holiday ever. Staff were hiding rather than have abuse from other holiday makers.

I feel the need to warn anybody who is thinking of booking this hotel in the future. We booked a 2 week all inclusive last week of Sept and 1st week of Oct. It looked and was described very nicely on the web but beware...it’s not all it’s cracked up to be!
We arrived at 5am and was left waiting for 20 mins in reception first of all. The room was full of ants, there was no TV, the shower was very small and temperamental, the room was supposed to be a sea view but you could barely see it in the distance.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so at first you think that’s no problem because being all inclusive there will be evening entertainment....not a chance.
The entertainment team left on 5 Sept (this was not stated in the web advertisement), so every evening was a bunch of people sitting around in the pool bar with the most miserable bar maid you could ever meet playing loud banging music.
The only thing you could do was play a bit of pool or air hockey, that’s only if you could get change for Euros from the miserable bar maid!
The food was by far the worst thing. It was luke warm nearly cold, the meat was red in the middle, and flies were constantly all over it, wasps on the bread, not one person did not complain. Unfortunately the complaints fell on deaf ears so I went vegetarian for 2 weeks and I lost weight. Other people risked it and paid the price and were ill.
There was pieces of broken glass laying around the pool, the pool was rarely cleaned, and the pool shower was disgusting, green, and manky. It turned out the hotel shuts down for winter from 15 Oct until next May so most of the shelves in the "supermarket" were empty which were not being restocked, they ran out of orangeade and lemonade, and any leftovers of food were rehashed in to something else for the next meal time.
There was no information in the hotel about the island; it was a case of jump on a bus and find out for yourself.
I have never written to a forum before but I can quite honestly say this was the worst holiday I have been on so far. I will definitely not be going back.

Have just got back from this hotel, had one week all inclusive and only stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel is okay, air con is free which is a bonus as you do need it, but the bathroom needed a good clean and having ants running around in it did not help. The staff are friendly, the lady behind reception and shop was lovely could not fault her. The swimming pool also needed a good clean lots of green algae hanging down the grates around edge of pool. My husband & I found this hotel very quiet and not a lot to do in the evenings, was not what we expected. Gave a rating of 3 because of free air con otherwise would have been a 1.

We arrived at Rhodes international at 04.05am local time to be told by an Olympic rep that they had never heard of Kabanari Bay (all our travel documents were on Olympic headed paper) and advised us to make our own way there. It wasn't difficult to obtain a Taxi and we were charged 50 Euros for a 50 min journey.
Upon arrival at Kabanari Bay we were greeted by a gentleman who did not speak any English and were shown to our accommodation, there was 3 of us in our party (2 adults and 1 child). The room was extremely small with not much space between beds, although air conditioning was provided without charge and there was a maid service every second day.
The pool area was lovely with not many people around, the pool bar however charged for tea and coffee and the only alcoholic drinks included in the all inclusive package were Brandy and a draught Lager, poolside snacks of any kind were also not included in the all inclusive offer.
The main restaurant was ok and the meals were standard for a 3 star but cold, uncovered and also surrounded by flies. There is an excellent restaurant across the path (which doesn't belong to the hotel) which had an excellent menu.
There wasn't any entertainment of any kind and nothing for my 9 year old daughter to do.
The nearest supermarket is approx. 30mins on foot although there is a small shop situated within the hotel where snacks could be purchased.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to family's with small children or young couples, but people who just want to spend the day relaxing by the pool would enjoy it.

The worst holiday ever. The hotel was run for the Italians and all the entertainment was in Italian. The all inclusive was a joke, only beer, ouzo and metaxa. The food was pasta pasta and more pasta. The dessert was melon and ice-cream night after night. The shop never had change, the bar was the same, the staff were not very helpful or very pleasant. Overall I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Well, booked this cheaply through Teletext. Could not find a review so was a little worried. Took my Girlfriend and 2 children (Boys 11 & 9). Upon checking in very early in the morning. We had a bit of a sleep in the Airconditioned (Free) apartment and felt ready to see the complex.
We were very pleased with it. Pool was nice, and not too many people in it. (Actually we had the pool virtually to ourselves all week.) The bar was good. Pool table (€1) and table tennis (Free) Volley ball (Free) Drinks were Ok, Local beer, Brandy and Ouzo. Soft drinks (Coke, Sprite, Orange) Ice cream for kids only.
Food in the restaurant was buffet style and good. However, a little too much pasta. Ice cream is delicious.
Beach was close, however, its not sandy, its pebbly. But still ok. Plenty of sun beds. (Same at the pool) The beach bar I can not comment on, apart from, its not all inclusive. Snorkelling is a must as the sea is crystal clear and you only have to go out about 2m and you see all sorts of fish that swim close by.
Many of the female staff in the hotel are Polish. They are very friendly and helpful. The Greek staff too are very helpful, especially the lady behind the reception (And she works in the shop) She could not do enough for us.
Overall This holiday was brilliant. We all wanted to stay for another week. I would consider going again.
Bad point: The reps at the hotel are Italian. (InViaggi - Italian Travel Agents). Although I could not fault them, and I did not pay for them, all entertainment was in Italian. Never the less, actions speak louder than words, we were entertained. They were friendly and helpful when needed. If you are looking for English reps, book elsewhere. (Music was mainly English)
