We did a fly drive flying into Aberdeen and driving to Cragellachie.
This was a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful place. The hotel was clean and very nice. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every way. We stayed 2 nights and only had their breakfasts which were really good and very plentiful with the food.
A few steps up the street from the hotel is a small pub called the Highlander Inn with really good and affordable dinners. The location of the hotel is only minutes away from many of the main distilleries. To name a few Macallan, Glenfiddich and Arborlour.
If you want to see some of Scotland’s most beautiful country drive the 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive to Fort William then along Loch Ness up to Inverness across to Elgin and back down to Craigellachie. It makes for a great day out. Another must is a stop in the hotels famous bar with hundreds of whiskeys to choose from.
If we were going back we would definitely stay here again. It is such a perfect place in such a perfect location.
