This hotel is brilliant. The sauna and steam room and jacuzzi were great when we went and were always empty when we went down there. I stayed with 4 other friends for my 18th birthday. It's such a safe place and has loely views out the windows of the slopes. With just two... more

Fantastic holiday. Went with husband and 6 + 7 year old. Room was very good and spacious. Food was excellent quality (both breakfast and evening meal) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The children enjoyed their stay which was made by the staff. The standard... more

Stayed at Magic Pas with husband and 6 friends. Hotel rooms very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing would have been somewhere to hang ski wear after a day on the slopes. Wardrobe hanging space very limited and with just a few hooks on the wall this problem would... more

Very Good Hotel
We stayed at Hotel Magic Pas, from 27th Jan - 3rd Feb 2008. We are a family of 5, so had two rooms, both were very clean and spacious. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, beds were made, fresh towels etc. The staff at the hotel were excellent, saying that, I found the whole resort of Pas to be very friendly and helpful. The food is a buffet style menu, with plenty of choice for everyone, I would be very surprised if there was not something you would like. The prices for drinks and snacks at the hotel were the same as the bars in the resort, if not cheaper on times. The Hotel has a Jacuzzi, Spa, Sauna, etc, which My daughters used on two occasions, this is complimentary to guests, they said it was lovely after a day on the slopes. There are ski lockers in the basement which are included in your booking price, we did use them for the first day, but later rented ones closer to the slopes, so we didnt have to carry ski's etc every day. We had to check out at 5am on sunday morning, they even provided us with a packed breakfast for the journey, not many uk hotels would do that. The resort of Pas is suitable for all ages and abilities, there are two good green runs, and lots of blues and reds, you can go across to the other resorts for more blacks etc. All the bars are friendly, and not too expensive, and the shops are very cheap. You Must check the prices though, there could be a row of bars or shops etc right next to each other, and the prices will be so different in each one, dont expect them to be in competition with each other. All in all I would recommend, and consider going back again.
Excellent
A group of 17 of us stayed at the Magic Pas in Feb 2006. It was my first skiing holiday and I was extrememly impressed with the hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean, as were the spa facilities. Food was more than adequate, and much better than expected. The only thing was that there were repeated problems with the rooms keys! The bar was also considerably cheaper than many of the surrounding bars. Would definately rebook this hotel.
Not bad would go again
Stayed the first week in Jan 2008. The hotel was excellent. Staff very friendly and extreemely helpful. The food however was good on the Sunday and Monday but it lost its appeal by the Wednesday and we began to eat out more. Very clean and well placed in pas as the hotel is close to the slopes and the apres ski pubs clubs etc. Not much to do in the hotel at night though and the pool table got a thrashing by the kids. and the bar got alot of trade No major problems other than what you wouldnt expect in a busy ski resort. lockers are free downstairs to store ski equipment but it was a bit of a slog carrying them everyday so we booked in on the slopes for a few euro each. Sauna and Steam room and jaccuzi were all cleaned regularly We would go here again but eat out more in the evenings
Pretty good all round, with one or two exceptions
Stayed for one week over Christmas week. Hotel is in a good location, 2 mins from the ski slopes and has a back entrance next to the popular bars in town. This is handy for storing ski equipment at the end of each day. Breakfast & dinner are of a good selection, with soup, salad bar and a wide hot food selection. Rooms are ok, though I would say, not as clean as they could be. The floor had not been cleaned all week despite clearly needing it.
Lovely
Thought the Magic Pas was a lovely hotel, friendly staff with clean nicely decorated rooms. The food was very average and is buffet for both breakfast and dinner. There is quite a selection but although I enjoy a buffet breakfast I like the dinner menu served to me after a long day's skiing!! The skiing was good with the slope being only minutes away. The snow wasn't the best when we went (same story all over Andorra this year) so there were quite a few runs closed. What was opened were well maintained though. All said I would go back to Magic but maybe on a B & B basis.
Good hotel!
Hotel Magic in Pas de la Casa is a good, decent hotel. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms. We had half board. Breakfast was good, a lot of fruit and juices. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Diner was fine, a saladbar and a bar with different kinds of desserts were my favorite. There was also a nice jaccuzzi and a Turkish bath which is nice to relax after a long day of skiing. The bar was very relaxed and you could sit by the fire if you want to. We will go back to Andorra next year and when we decide to go to Pas de la Casa we will certainly go back to Magic.
Magic Hotel
We went skiing in Jan 07. We stayed in the Magic hotel which was good value clean and a nice good sized family room.( 2 adults and 2 children, early teens) We would go back to the hotel however we thought that Pas was a characterless resort. Ugly and not much there. The holiday was enjoyed by all of us but we did not have any sleep for the week we were there. We were six floors up, facing the front of the hotel, every night we endured shouting, singing, swearing and refuse disposal until about 4.30am!! We would not go to that resort again. Good Luck
very friendly hotel
Our first skiing holiday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked 2 rooms at Magic and first impressions were great. The rooms were of good size but could have done with a bit more wardrobe space-especially to hang your wet ski clothes! sky tv consisted of 2 english channels. The food was buffet style and plentiful, and if your not too fusy you could find something to eat. I had 3 children, the youngest lived on burger king for the week as he refused to eat anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant and bar staff. The beds were a little bit on the hard side! Hotel was very central, close to the shops and slopes.A downside was the noise from the clubs nearby. Ski lockers in the basement were great. All in all a great holiday, would probably go back and stay at magic pas hotel, but will definitely go back to pas.
Great Hotel
We stayed at this hotel earlier this year and were impressed. The location is great - close to the slopes, shops and bars. The rooms are modern & clean. There is an evening buffet every night which I would say is average. There is always a wide selection meat/fish salads but it all tastes quite ordinary. Maybe bed and breakfast would be a better option than half board. We found the staff quite friendly and helpfull. They have lockers in the basement for your ski stuff which is useful. We would stay here again Pas de la Casa is a perfect place for beginners and intermediates, the ski school is fantastic. We had a great time !
Loved the night life
Went skiing to Pas with 8 friends this month ( Feb 06 )We stayed in Hotel Magic Pas. Very comfortable hotel, food was good, staff very plesant except for 1 or 2 as can be expected. Jacuzzi area very very slippy so do bring some sort of pool shoes. Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasnt at full tempature while we visited nor was it clean. The town itself is very ugly but cheap! eating out is cheap aswell as boozing. Skiing was excellent, wide variety of slopes catering for all levels. Cant wait to return next year.. try and fly to Toulouse if your going to Pas. We flew into Barcelona Girona and we were on the bus for 7 hours because of traffic and customs. Excellent resort I would recommend it.
