we have been going to santorini since 2004 we have been to perissa 11 times we have tried different appts but we always tend to go back to andreos appt because they are quiet and secluded they have there own pool the girl who works in the little cabin doing food is very friendly and helpful the rooms are spacious and very clean the beds are made every day and changed every other day with clean towels we would reccomend andreos appts to any one who want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Andreas studios were clean but very basic, lacking some basic utensils such as knives and a toaster would have come in handy...towels supplied looked as if they had been around for 'donkies years' and were like cardboard!!We paid 30 euros for the air conditioning for the week but unfortunatly it broke down on 2 occasions and the accommodation staff were very blaze' about this, but on complaining to our travel rep, who was excellent by the way, managed to get the problem sorted and also a 10euro refund for ourselves and fellow guests..other reviews mention 'George'the proprietor, being very friendly!!but on enquiring where george was, no other staff were aware of such person!!although, Christina, who runs the poolside snack bar was excellent and very, very friendly.. Although around the pool area there are some Health and Safety issues that travellers with young families should be aware of, but the pool itself is very good. Andreas studios were situated not too bad, within easy walking distance of all the amenities, but on the main road which could be quite noisy on occasions...Santorini is a gorgeous island and I have no doubt i will visit again some day but in alternate accommodation.

  • Advice: Santorini, beautiful..small and low key..will definately go again

I know who these people are on about, we were a family of 7 on holiday to Santorni for a second time to which we found the Andreas Apartments a great place to stay. You will no have no problems with the accommodation or George the barman who will endeavour to make your stay a remarkable one. Even if there are boring idiots there who would probably prefer their holiday with themselves at Butlins, but even saying that it would probably be to much excitement for them, so it would be best if they stayed at home.
Proper story; we arrived after a 12 hour delay to which the rep was no help at all even though we have travelled with Kosmar before. Woke up first morning, family from Manchester done nothing but stare all day as we probably took their sun beds to what we thought were first come first served basis. Even the pool manager complained about these people. All we done was enjoyed ourselves within Kosmar company policy and to the managers disression to which we sought, he did not have no problem with remembering out of the 7 we had 4 children who wanted to enjoy themselves as any young child would. Everybody else we met had a good time and pool parties (within reason) and as the bar man said "we didn't eat or drink our own food round the pool unlike some" ha ha.
Go to Andreas studio and have a good holiday because they will look after you, but be warned it is lively. Overall was a great holiday and would not have changed it, will recommend to anyone.

On the whole the holiday was very enjoyable, quiet and peaceful (well it would have been if the family from hell would have gone elsewhere. This family I'm sure would have been more at home at Blackpool! )
The tour rep Dan Russell was on his first job at doing repping, but what a lovely young man he is, so helpful, polite and eager to help. As a family we have visited many countries and never had the service that we received from Dan he is a credit to the company.
The downfall for Perrissa was the traffic and the lack of concern for the pedestrians and their safety. There was 2 fatalities and 3 serious injuries from 2 separate accidents this was an obvious concern.
If you need a holiday to recharge your batteries then this is the place for you I would not advise young people that want a good time partying to go there as there is not that type of nightlife available.

The Andreas Studios, we found to be clean and spacious and this being our second visit, with a third planned for October, should put your mind at rest at its suitability.
The studio's are situated just across the road from the Coop supermarket which we found to be the cheapest in the resort, along side it is the 24 hour bakery (delicious food)
Albeit there are plenty of tavernas, and restaurants in Perissa, if you want to explore farther a field the local buses are cheap and reliable and go to just about everywhere you would need to be.
Back at the Andreas, the pool bar which is open all day is run by a brilliant guy by the name of George, who will endeavour to make your stay a truly enjoyable one. Enjoy!

Santorini is the perfect island for a holiday. There is plenty to see and do. There is no need to be able to drive as the bus service is quite good and easy to use. The resort of Perissa is quiet with plenty of tavernas offering good quality reasonably priced food. The beach is dark sand and there are plenty of bars on the beach offering free umbrellas and service. There is a boat service to the next resort. The Andreas apartments are spacious and very clean. There is a large swimming pool on site with a poolside bar. A supermarket across the road with a bakery attached. A 5 minute stroll to the Water park, a great place to relax for a day, and a 10 minute walk to the beach.
A 15 minute bus journey away is the beautiful capital of the island- Fira, set on the top of steep cliffs with breathtaking views of the Caldera. Just relax at a bar sipping a cool drink and wonder at the beautiful sunset. Wander around the town and enjoy the amazing array of jewellery and confectionery shops.
A great day excursion can be enjoyed to the Caldera, which is a dormant volcano. Walk to the summit and take in the views of Fira. Next sail off to enjoy a swim in the hot sulphur springs and the to a small harbour to enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at a traditional taverna.
Santorini is a jewel in a sparkling blue sea
