We had a great stay at the Alantha apartments. The staff were helpful and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We booked the holiday with family but when we arrived we were in different blocks. Despite being fully booked our family were moved to be directly above us very quickly.
Air conditioning is a must as it is very hot in August, 8 euros per day.
The pool has fantastic scenery but the sunbeds and pool are too close together which makes it dangerous for younger children.
We went to Amoudi beach (walking destance) and Almyros beach by taxi. The Almyros is well worth the visit and has plenty for the children to do.
The restaurants are good and most of them are quite reasonable.
We found buying excursions from Yiannis (agent by the marina) much cheaper than the rep.
The greek night in Anapolis was excellent and we all enjoyed Watercity.
Spinalonga is a must, the island has lot of history. Only 10 euros at the agency.
