I will list the problems we found with this place just last week (august 2010) rude reception staff (in fact downright rude) extras added onto bar bills/entertainment bills. One man from london had a blazing row with the head bar maid (she had as much personality as adolph... more

Don't get me wrong, I am not one to moan for the sake of it, and all in all the Mutlu was perfectly adequate for our requirements and for the money we paid. I just thought I would write a few notes in the hope that people will be careful that they don't pay over the odds to... more

I thought that the mutlu hotel was absolute rubbish! I found the staff quite rude and thought of them as pedophiles as mustafa was a sexual predator on my 15 year old daughter and tryed to rape her. Hakan was abusive towards my daughters friend after she refused to kiss... more

This hotel is very central, beach is only minutes away and the shops are close. Some very nice restaurants close by - check out valentines on the main street, it’s delicious. The hotel is quite big, the pool is great, you don't get sun on it all day though and you have... more

The Mutlu hotel is not bad at all! I have stayed in a few hotels in Altinkum and this is reasonable. The hotel is in a good location, close to all the beaches. Shopping centre, bars, and restaurants. For location you can’t go wrong! The hotel itself has a shop, its ok... more

brill holiday
this was the best holiday ever for me and my family, the staff at the mutla were the nicest people ive ever met and couldnt do enough for you, pool a bit small but good fun, and very clean the cleaners worked very hard and helped alot. seriously go and have a good time! right beside the main street, i recomend valintines the resturaunt and its very good night life on the turkish nights there.anyway im not going to go on about how good it was just go there and find out for yourselves!!!!!!!
red hot holiday
Before we left the reviews we read made us very apprehensive. Talk of shabby rooms, plastic furniture etc. didnt sound too inviting but what a pleasant surprise when we got to appartment 405. Spotless, roomy and very comfortable though the view from our TWO balconies was a bit grim but gave us very welcome shade from the 120 degree afternoons! A big thanks to our hard working maid for her artistic talents. What she cant do with a couple of towels and some rose petals isnt worth knowing about. Cant fault the apartments, the staff and the town in any way. Give Michaels restaraunt a try, around the corner from Mutlu and do go on jeep safari and watch the adults turn into kids right in front of your eyes!
was excellent
Just Got Back ... there was 7 of us , my mum dad and brother, mate and her mum and dad... was excellent, the waiters are great and i loved it ,cant wait to go back xxx
Best in Altinkum
Just returned from staying at the mutlu with my husband ans 7 year old son and all I can say is...brilliant. The apts are spotless and the staff are fantastic, they could not do enough for you. They work long hours and always greet you with a smile. The security is also very good with cctv cameras on every floor ,a security guard at night and electronic keys for the doors. We felt very safe there. The location could not be better as you are central for everything. The resort itself is lovely. The people at the restaurants are quite pushy though at trying to get you to come in and eat. Just try and be patient and say "no thanks, maybe another night" They are very pleasant and will wish you a nice evening. Altinkum was much larger than we expected and the aqua park is great! Recommend eating at "valentines" and "Balti House". As for entertainment; not much to shout about unfortunately, not unless you like breakdancing. It is a turkish holiday resort and therefore it is mostly turkish people there. We loved it though as the pace of life was relaxed and laid back. There's also a small carnival. There are a lot of power cuts but fortunately the mutlu generator kicks in straight away. If going in high season I recommend paying for the air con as it is HOT!!!! It is pricey though at £35 per week. We met a lot of lovely people which I think helped to make our holiday as good as it was. Alma the rep is fantastic! Only one thing left to say and that is "HYPER HYPER". If you go you will know what I mean.
the no sleep holiday
Mutlu apartments was okay for a three star but if you have small children do not bother. The pool looked dirty and was full of noisy teenagers who had no regard for children. My son is two years old and we struggled to get to sleep at night as most of the hotels surrounding the complex played music until 2-3am in the morning. If you can afford a slightly better hotel then go the extra mile as Altinkum was nice but just not very relaxing at night.
Totally loved it!!!!
I absolutely loved Altinkum. It has the most friendly people in the world and is so beautiful. The hotel was also brill. When Altinkum had a power cut (which is very often) only Mutlu had its own emergency power supply. The pool was a bit small, but compared to the other hotels in Altinkum it is the size of a football pitch. It is also close to everything. Other people on the tour were located FAR FAR away and it wasn't as convenient to get to the beach. Beautiful beaches, hot hot hot weather. Be sure to go on local tours. There are an added bonus. Don't go on tours arranged by Airtours etc. They are a big rip off!!!
Ab fab!
When arriving at first it looked dark from the outside until we realised they had had a power cut and it wasnt long before the generator was on but we just arrived as it had started. The rooms are to die for as they are all brand spanking new and i was the first in our room 119 which is now fitted with electronic door for extra security and all rooms come with air con and safe box you cant go wrong witht his place and the kids club is brill well done to alma the airtours rep as she was A1
very friendly
the photo in the airtours brochure does not do this apartment block credit. we stayed on the fourth (top floor) over looking the pool. but around the back of the aprts the rooms are much quieter, the rooms have all been refurbished with sep bedroom little kitchen area with full fridge, breakfast bar, table and chairs. pay t,v nice balcony. lovely restaurant with a good selection on the menu at approx £5. per head. the staff are lovely, especially the waiters who come around the pool entertaining the kids and joining in with the adults. I dont think they ever sleep.the area has a lot of building work going on but the roads are not bad and the beach frontage is lovely. the sea is warm and so are the people .I had many handshakes and kisses and genuine warmth from the shops and bars. theylove the tourists and look after you. order your meal for about £6 and youget many starters and garlic bread. free coffee etc. all inclusive price.many brits are moving to this area, we sat with a group of 12 all who had bought. hope to go back next year.
Loved It!!!!!
the hotel is very modern and up to scratch, the pool is clean and so are the rooms, the staff are very helpful and my best mates Mete and Ferdi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. i really didn't want to go, i would deffo go back any day. I only got back yesterday and i am REALLY missing it. They entertainment was really good, mete and ferdi had a dance and when it was my last night because i was really good friends with them i danced it with them!!! it was great BEST HOLLIDAY EVER!!!!
