Tres Palmeiras Villa

An amazing spot where we felt right at home. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Dolly, the amazing view and a sweet dog; I knew I had found the right place to relax. The gorgeous beach is a quick stroll from the house as is a fantastic restaurant. The house is amazing and Dolly has thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable. Before I even left I started to think about when I can get back there... a true gem!

My husband and I have just returned from a week at casa tres palmeiras and loved every minute of our stay.Firstly the location was beautiful - on a cliff overlooking a small beach.If we wanted peace and quiet we stayed by the pool( each room has its own sunbeds) but if the beach is your thing there are plenty within walking distance.As mentioned in other reviews there are several beach restuarants with walking distance but you can also get a regular bus into Alvor which takes about 10 mins.Alvor boasts over 200 restuarants and we had some... more

Elegant, secluded, the epitomy of relaxation, charming and outstanding staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The past few months we have traveled for business and pleasure throughout continental Europe. Casa Tres Palmeiras was one of the highlights (if not the best) of the trip! Dolly was an excellent hostess, providing a great staff but also adding personal touches on our visit (restaurant tips, driving directions, hiking trails, etc.). Perfect location, lovely rooms, everything we expected and more. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, large bathrooms with separate shower and tub, dressing room, refridgerator, safe...everything you could possibly need. Dolly, the owner, couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was one of the highlights...walking the nearby cliffs.....swimming into the caves along the beach.... walking to dinner along the water every night. Often paying a return visit to a hotel can disappoint but in this instance it just got better. Nothing had changed-- attention to detail was paramount and everything was spotless. This gem of a place is enchanting and may it always be thus in the years to come. Dolly, the owner, is a person who thinks of your every need. The breakfast is wonderful and the views breathtaking. We will return for sure.

Probably not for a family with children, but very romantic spot for couples looking to find rest and relaxation in an environment more like what the Algarve must have been …….. imagine staying at your well to do aunt or uncles’s Portuguese villa with a spectacular view overlooking what is one of the more beautiful beaches on the Algarve, with low key behind the scene support staff….. this is true elegant luxury, without glitz, in a manner not found elsewhere on the coast. We have recently spent about 4 days at Casa Tres Palmeiras. It is true, overall it is a nice B&B to stay in. Ideally located, on top of a nice sandy beach. Although the beach below can be very crowded, the area around the salt water pool is calm and quiet. There are good, but not very fancy, fish restaurants facing the sea within walking distance (about 10 minutes). We've recently spent a week at Casa Tres Palmerias for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we needed after a busy wedding! It is an extremely relaxing environment, the rooms and terrace feel very private and tranquil. Breakfast is fantastic and is taken on the edge of the terrace so you can watch the beautiful bay below. We spent many an afternoon snoozing by the pool. Also, when the tide is out you can walk from the bay below all the way along the stunning beaches to Praia da Rocha, a stunning hours stroll. I was really impressed with Casa Tres Palmeiras. The building has a great location on a cliff top above a small but busy beach, however the atmosphere on the terrace by the pool is very quiet and relaxed. The bedrooms are luxurious, the lounge is more homely than up to date, a bit like something from Casino Royale. The attention to detail was excellent (like his and hers duffel bags for the beach towels) and the service was spot-on.
