Lovely hotel, peace and quite away from the rowdy holiday makers The owners are lovely quite people and very friendly. we visit this hotel twice a year and they always make us feel welcome. This hotel is away from the main strip but if you want to stay away from the main noise of the strip and have a relaxing holiday stay here. Not everything is perfect but we love coming here and really relaxing and enjoying ourselves. There is no bingo or holiday entertainment just peace and quite not for old people who want amusement or youngesters who want disco's just laying at the pool
and relaxing. The walk into the strip or the old town is approx 15 to 20 mins walk a taxis is cheap but the walk is good If you like quite then go for this hotel/apartments

extremely noisy apartments miles from anywhere.balcony overlooks very busy main road. you had to sleep with youir windows tightly shut and earplugs in. the proprietors of the apartments charge for everything including 70 euros for aircon should you need it as you have to shut the windows in order to sleep!
i love walking but this beyond a joke. half the time you had no pavements to walk on and at night wild dogs roamed the streets. a good 40 mins walk to the beach if you walk fast.
do not go to these apartments as it will ruin ypur holiday.
ive been to portugal several times and these apartments are the worst by far.

these apartments were located on a main road on the very outskirts of albufeira.
the road noise is horrendous and you are a 40 minute walk on roads with no pavements to get to the beach.
the apartments do not offer assistance in this matter and the owners were rude and unhelpful. they were only interested in what they could earn off you.
the only way you could sleep at night was with the windows tightly shut and earplugs in. the owners charge you 70 euros if you want aircon! nice eh?
do not go to these apartments!
i have been to portugal 10 times and these apartments are the worst by some margin.
if you do have the misfortune to end up here dont let it put you off portugal as it is a wonderful place to holiday!

stuck in the middle of no where!! no local facilities and virtually impossible to get a taxi. if i had a camcorder with me i would be sending it to holidays from hell. a large tour operator should not be sending people to these noisy remote apartments. if you like having nowhere to go at night and the feeling of being trapped this is the place. there is a constant traffic noise which makes sitting in your tiny balconies impossible. nearly all rooms overlook a very busy road and the rooms are very basic. i have been to portugal several times and this time i feel cheated. these apartments are the worst ive stayed in anywhere never mind portugal. do not go here your holiday will be ruined!!
