This place is terrible, really dirty, small and lacking in any privacy if you're unfortunate enough to end up on the ground floor.
Their website is very misleading as the apartments it shows are all in the seperate complex (5 mins up the road) that is reserved for the Dutch and German tourists!
The room we had was very small, very dirty and very dark because we couldn't open the curtains as it was lower than the garden outside and everyone walks past the windows.
The self catering facilities were absolutely rubbish and barely able to make a cup of coffee, with the fridge leaking all over the floor and over freezing (and rusty) and rumbling away in teh corner of the room all night.
Don't even think of using the bathroom or shower - not much more than a hose pipe with short supply of warm water.
On the whole the island is nice and some good places to eat - especially just up the road, but lacking in significant beaches and you wouldn't want to hang around the Barbara!

My wife and I spent two weeks on Kefalonia in the Barbra apts, if you do go here make sure you stay in the annex, the rooms on the ground floor are **** poor with little or no privacy. The room next door have to eat their meals outside your bathroom window! There is a Scottish rep who is a clown, my arse knows more about snipe shooting than this comedian does about this resort. He seems intent on getting punters to hire cars and lies about the bus service which is perfectly adequate during the day. There is a good bar next door run by an English couple who are good crack and the attached restaurant does a nice line in meals and snacks. Stay clear of the supermarket as their prices are expensive. Down the street there is another nice restaurant and plenty of entertainment. My wife and I will not be back as there is little to do during the day except go traveling into Argostoli the capitol. If you go there go to the harbour and take the ferry across the bay for a euro!
