We stayed at the Mythos Apartments, last and this may , but this year we also spent a lot of our time at the Tropical Sol Hotel.
The hotel seemed really friendly and we found the kiddie play area a great bonus as not many hotels/apartments had this. People we spoke to ,spoke really highly of this hotel and a lot of people were on their 2nd or 3rd visit which is always a good sign.
We did look into one of the rooms and although the one we were shown was not huge, it did have all the mod cons- safety deposit box, private facs, hairdryer, air con etc - air con would be a must in July/august!!! Also it had views over open countryside- but had fantastic sunsets!!
It was a good 8 minutes walk to the beach but the pool and area was large - again fairly rare in the resort - with loads of sunloungers etc .
The beach always have a breeze which is lovely on hot days - but be careful as people often burn. The views are amazing out to Turkey and the other way views over the village and the mountains.
The resort of Tingaki, is wonderful - not too busy not too quiet, with relaxing bars or busier cocktail bars - what more can people want. The atmosphere of the resort is great and a real gem, as Kos Town is just a short bus trip away - which stops about 8pm and after this approx 12 Euros in a taxi - ideal if people want the best of both worlds.
Without a doubt, we will be going back to Tingaki and would either stay at this hotel or the Mythos apartments, as both have great facilities and friendly staff.
