Not that bad!

The decor was in need of attention, but clean throughout. Ample breakfast and nice heplful staff. The allocated room faced the street and we asked for another and was promptly given 3 other sets of keys to choose our own!! We chose the largest room with a very large bathroom. Considering its situation in the run down area of Marseille, we thought the hotel was ok, but if you want style you will pay an awful lot more in the more affluent part of the city.

This so called Three Star Hotel was very poor. In a very downtrodden and threatening end of Marseilles. The rooms were pokey and our “non smoking” room stank of stale tobacco as did the bedding. The bathroom was dated, the bath enamel chipped and broken, the shower... more
