Very disappointing - mattress very old - like a sack of potatoes, only more lumpy, no mirror at all in bedroom, elderly TV.
Restaurant had the slowest service I have ever experienced, one meal at a time in a relatively small restaurant is just not good enough.
Quality was reasonable, but pricey (even by London standards) but oh so very slow, and the staff, all of whom young and seemingly very inexperienced, didn't seem to care that if you started dinner at 7.30pm you don't want to still be waiting for your main course at 9.30pm.
Speed of breakfast no better, but at least you could take from the buffet bar, but heaven help you if you wanted a cooked breakfast.
Expensive, slow and not worth a return visit.

This is without doubt worst, so called hotel, we have ever had mis-fortune to stay at.
The overall appearance was run down, the odour was less than engaging and the general appliances, televisions etc, appear to have been recalled from the 1970's.
Don't be misleading by the write ups and photographs, this place was dire.
The breakfast, as an example, had such a wonderful descriptive tone to it; however, it was the worst burnt offering of rubbish I have ever seen. When we left did any member of their staff enquire, 'did you have a nice stay' 'have you enjoyed your stay'. No not one, not even the check out cashier.
Now, I have no objection to paying for a good service, but at £140.00 for a double room and breakfast, per night, I expect more than a Youth Hostel atmosphere, a Salvation Army food service, and Blackpool Bed and Breakfast type accommodation.
Genuinely it really was poor, and for such a price it was downright appalling.

Warm welcome at reception, clean and fresh room. Excellent dinner and attentive service.
Fair prices - infinitely better than last week's 'double the price' London hotel.
