Benacus Hotel

We arrived at the Hotel quite late at night, and the rest of the family were around an hour behind. Roberto the manager stayed up till gone 1am to ensure everyone arrived and checked in OK. The pool and gardens were very well looked after, the room spotlessly clean with good air con as it was almost 40deg. Internet access available in reception at reasonable rates. We have recently returned from a 10 day stay at Hotel Benacus and absolutely loved it ! It is a relatively small family-run hotel and we couldn't have been made more welcome if we had been members of the family ourselves. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and extremely helpful - readily giving information about places to visit, local bus and boat services ,trips out and good local restaurants for evening meals. friendly staff, nice family run hotel, clean rooms, nice pool. Can hire good mountain bikes for 10e for day from hotel which i would definately recommend to anyone.

Went to Lake Garda for 6 days for a family wedding. Didn't think the area would be my cup of tea but enjoyed the whole experience. Really beautiful scenery and Malcesine in general and the Hotel Benacus in particular was the ideal place to stay. Malcesine is a busy little town with numerous, mainly cobbled streets housing shops and restaurants. The main ferries which operate on the lake call into the town's pretty harbour. Beautiful hotel, lovely setting, enjoyed modern and very clean room with lake views and large balcony. Booked directly with manager Roberto and throughout our stay he, his sister and family were very friendly and helpful at all times. Road noise at front no problem at all at night, double glazed good patio door provides excellent sound insulation. Gorgeous very clean pool and beautiful gardens and plenty of comfortable loungers for relaxing and sun bathing at the hotel. Booked this hotel on line - the manager Roberto and the family are very helpful and friendly. I booked the really cheap Ryanair flight to Verona Brescia you think it might be 10p each but it ends up £100 each and Roberto arranged the transfer at a total of 70 euros for both of us both ways which I thought was ok because it was a smooth and efficient The hotel was not providing food but we were suggested good eating places Cleanliness was great the hotel is modern and good all round The pool was lovely but the water was a bit cold I swam... more

The Hotel is exceptionally clean and offers exceptional value for money. All the staff very helpful and friendly . Dinner in the hotel was to a very high standard and again very good value. The walk into Malcesine is about 1.5 k but the lake side walk, although longer, offers stunning views of the lake. The only draw back was some traffic noise. I would love to go back there in the not too distant future

Booked this hotel on line after checking out many many hotels in lake garda. and im so glad I picked this one. Its fantastic.The family who run the hotel are so helpful and the hotel is self is really clean and well kept.It is small enough and be warned its about a mile and a half from the town! So pleased we booked this hotel. It was recommended to us. The location was fantastic, a walk into Malcesine but what a beautiful walk but also nice to be a bit outside the main town. You also then had the option of walking the other way where it is even less tourist-y. The hotel was clean, nice rooms and amenities, and a lovely family that run it. So accomodating and would love to return some day. Thank you Benacus!

We had a wonderful time at the Benacus Hotel in Bardolino. It is in a very good position right in to the pedestrian centre of the beautifull village, The young family was extremely gracious and helpful in every respect. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean. The view from the room over the park is very romantic. Fantastic breakfast on a sunny terrace. We would stay there again.
