This hotel isn't too close to the city centre, although it's not too far away and you can easily walk it in about 20 minutes or so.

The room was a decent size, not too cramped, with a large, king size bed which was firm and comfy. It's pretty basic, but has all the necessities like sat TV, coffee maker etc.

Everything was spic and span and very tidy. The bathroom was clean too and the shower was great!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK, but a bit pricey for what it was.

It's a decent hotel but maybe too far from the city centre for some. Still, if you need a hotel in this area, you could do worse.

The Premier travel Inn at Deansgate Lock is one of the 3 travel inn's in Manchester City centre. It is the furthest away of the 3 from the centre, but it still only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Piccadilly gardens so it isn't far at all. The staff were very helpful when I arrived, and checking in was very straightforward. The rooms are quite a good size and the bed was a king’s size which was great. They were nice and clean, you don't get any little toiletries in the bathroom, but there is body wash attached to the wall. The bathroom has a bath and power shower which was great. and it was nice and clean.

I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but they did serve one each morning double check what time they serve breakfast at on the weekend, it was fairly early if your like me and like a lie in then you will miss it.

The other great thing was checkout was at midday which I thought was generous.

Overall a great hotel if you’re just looking to rest your head, and need a place fairly near the city. But all premier travel inn's are the same quality/standard so if you are booking one then I would suggest one of the other 2 in the city as they are closer.
