me,my partner and little boy came here in september and had the best holiday ever.we got married in the second week when both our families came out to join us.i cannot think of 1 negative comment about this hotel and its staff.1 of the best rooms we have had with a full length window in the bathroom!!we cant wait to go back this year for our anniversary.

Our holiday at the Lindos Mare Hotel was exceptional. The people we met there were wonderful, and the staff fantastic. The food was excellent, and we were hard pushed to find any complaints.
Lindos is only a few minutes in a taxi which gives you a great opportunity to meet the local charismatic taxi drivers. You can walk into Lindos, but from a safety point of view, I wouldn’t recommend that because there is no pavement, and it looked dangerous.
The waiters were great fun - especially Stavros, Giannis, Stavvas, Pia, Raluca, Andreas, and those whose name escapes me. Thanks go to Adrianna on reception who was very helpful. Also Michaelis is very professional, and a great credit to the hotel.
We hope to come back there next year, when Greg and I will perform the dance (the bump) again. Bye for now, Marian & Greg xxxx

We went to the Lindos Mare last year for our wedding, we only stayed a week and that certainly was not long enough!
The staff were so polite and helpful-nothing was too much trouble for them!
They were so good with our daughter who was 17months old. She loved all the staff as they all played with her and made a fuss of her.
They must see hundreds of wedding at their hotel but they still made ours feel like the only one. It was very special and we will certainly be going back again-hopefully this year but it may be booked up!
The food was amazing and there was a huge choice for both breakfast and dinner.
The whole holiday was so special and we couldn't have found a nicer hotel if we'd tried. I would recommend the Lindos mare hotel to anyone.
The only downside? - No hotel will compare to this one! This makes finding a holiday even harder!
Definitely 10 out of 10.

If you've ever looked for the Perfect Hotel With Perfect Food In the most romantic Settings then you need to look no further just book your holiday at the Lindos Mare Hotel.
But book it now as they are half full for 2007 already and this is because all people that go there return without fail the following year. I don’t need to tell you how Excellent the whole resort/ Hotel is other reports will do that for that for me.
All i will say is that we've booked for August next Year07 and were now Planning to retake our wedding vowes there in 2008 to which the hotel are in the planning stages for us also.
We’ve stayed in many Hotels and never in all our stays have we found a Hotel were we cannot find a single Fault. So just Take the Plunge Spend your Money And you'll never look back or look elsewhere again.
This Hotel is 4* rating I cannot think as to why its not 5 I just cant see any room for improvement here. I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of Staff in the Hotel Incl Our special Friends and Yes You know who you are, You are what makes Lindos Mare the most Perfect Hotel In Rhodes, We Love you all.

We’ve just returned from our third visit to the Lindos Mare (we got married there this year!). And have already booked to go out there for our anniversary next year which will give you an idea of how fantastic this hotel is!
The location and views are simply stunning. From the moment you walk into the cool classy surroundings of the hotel reception and look from the cocktail verandah to the fabulous views of Vlicha Bay, I guarantee, you will be hooked! There are fantastic views from every part of the hotel which is set in attractive gardens leading down to the beach.
I’ve never been to a hotel where every single member of staff is so genuinely friendly and helpful, they really do make a stay at the Mare even more special. Special mention of course must go to Michalis, the maitre d’, he is fantastic!
The selection of food at the hotel is excellent. When we stayed this year, we were accompanied by 21 friends and family, with the youngest being 2 years old and the eldest 81. Everyone enjoyed the food which tells you what a good variety there was, and my vegetarian friends and sister-in-law were well catered for too. There is a hot and cold buffet for breakfast and dinner (the hot buffet is cooked freshly in the restaurant) and at dinner there is also the choice from 3 main dishes of the day, so you can have just the buffet, or a main, or both!
Don’t miss the Greek night held once a week at the a la carte, for a supplement to your half board meal there is a hot and cold buffet and barbecue with traditional Greek dishes, and music and dancing. It’s a great evening and very popular.
We got married at St Paul’s Bay and had our reception back at the Mare in the a la carte restaurant overlooking the bay, it was a lovely evening and everything was really nice.
The cocktail bar near reception is well worth visiting. The cocktails are excellent, and they have a happy hour before dinner so we often went there for an aperitif whilst enjoying the late afternoon sun on the terrace.
This year we used the Spa at the Mare for the first time as a number of treatments were included in our wedding package. It really is an oasis of calm, I totally recommend the massages – the prices are very reasonable too. Beach towels are available free of charge from the Spa, and you can change them as often as you like. They give you a card when you first go in to collect them, which you get signed off and give to reception when you take the towels back at the end of your holiday.
There is also car hire available from the hotel. We hired a jeep from them the first year, but last year we hired one from an international company because we wanted to pick it up from the airport and we ended up paying heaps more and the 4WD didn’t work properly! This year we hired from the hotel again and it was great. Rhodes is very easy to navigate your way around and it is well worth having the freedom to explore on your own. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to Lindos.
You can walk in to Lindos from the hotel which takes approx 20 minutes, or take a taxi or a bus (the bus stop is right outside the hotel). Lindos has a taxi rank in the main square so it’s easy to get a cab back. If we were going to Lindos in the evening we’d generally walk in and get a cab back.
We can’t wait to go back next year, roll on June 2007!

I got married in Lindos at St Pauls bay 2004 and we stayed at the Lindos Mare, what a fab hotel, we love it so much we went back the following year, we were planning to go this summer but they are fully booked (that’s how good they are).
Our friends are getting married next year and are staying at the Lindos Mare as they thought it was fab when we stayed there, The hotel staff are so friendly and helped a lot, the food was outstanding!
All the weight I lost before the wedding was put straight back on! Hee hee! There’s a beach right by which is quite and amazing, and the food and bars (and nightclubs) are just a 5Euro taxi ride away, I fully recommend this place. See you there next August!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at St. Pauls Bay and as we were staying at the Lindos Mare we had our reception there. It was breath taking, what with the scenery and the very friendly staff. The hotel caters for everybody and they have a fabulous spa and health club.
There are lots of steps which isn't much of a problem as there are lots of lifts too. If you go half board you can swap your evening meal for lunch, which is great if you like to try different restaurants. If you love lazing by the pool all day, you need to get there early in the morning as it gets busy and some people reserve beds with their towels even when they haven’t even been sitting there at all which can be quite annoying!
Because it was our wedding, we had a junior suite which was fabulous and I heard some people trying to upgrade to one. In a nut shell, this hotel is definitely one of the best!
