Reviews of Skiathos Diamond Apartments, Skiathos Town

These are the most bright, airy, spacious apartments you will find anywhere in Greece, not just Skiathos. As in previous reports they are spotless, cleaned daily, linen change 3 times a week and nothing, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for Soula and Christos. They are typically greek with all the basics of self catering but with space. The pool is spotless and a pleasure to cool off in or swim, what ever takes your fancy. It is a few minutes walk from the road that runs from the main town to Koukanaris beach which is also the bus route ( bus stop is at the entrance to the road that leads to Skiathos Diamond). There is a little supermarket opposite the entrance to the apartments and tavernas and other shops a 10 minute walk away. In some ways a pool bar would be an asset but in another it is so easy to purchase your own drinks in the supermarket across the way and sit on your balcony and enjoy. Plenty of parking if you want to hire a car and a warm welcome in their own taverna which is in Troulos, a 3 bus stop ride away. Great food and even greater value. You will not beat their hospitality and genuine kindness anywhere. 10/10

Me and my husband have stayed in the Skiathos Diamond Apartments since they have opened. Skiathos is our favourite island and we keep coming back for our main summer holidays, although we do go to other islands at the end of the season. We always compare the accommodation (as you do), and these apartments are head and shoulders above the rest. No extras for the air conditioning and the space is just vast, compared to some of the places we stayed in, on Skiathos as well as other Greek islands. The quiet and central location makes it ideal to get around on the island and get a respite from the every day stresses we get at home.



The owners couldn't be more helpfull and accommodating (and have a great restaurant two villages down from the apartments). We could easily live here if it was an option. One little niggle is the lack of a poolbar, although the shop across the road functions well as such. Overall a great place to stay and value for money if you can get the flight at the right price.

these apartments really are super,the best we have ever had in greese.the special fly screens on windows and patio doors are like nothing we have seen before and the air conditioning was very quiet and the beds reall comfy.the apartment was cleaned daily and bedding and towels changed 3 times per week.the pool was amazingly clean.this was an amazing holiday we were made to feel really welcome and hated leaving.we will be back.

Fabulous break with a glorious sun filled time by the pool. Christos and Soula couldn't have been more helpful, apartment quiet and well presented with all we needed for a relaxing time. My wife is not too robust but she felt really at ease.

Local shop keepers were very nice too and figs straight from the tree were delicious

We stayed here for 2 lovely weeks in August. The accommedation was great and very clean . Even though we had a problem with the A/C it was sorted out .The double aspect of the apartment meant you had the choice to sit in or out of the sun any time of the day . Pool and poolside was cleaned every morning to a high standard. The owners were happy to help with any enquiries and were delightful host. We would return again in the future .Nice touch to be greeted at the Airport and returned. Easy to get around on the bus or taxi.The Greek people were so welcoming everywhere we went on the Island.

My partner and I organised our own holiday for the first time this year via the internet. The apartments looked great and the price was reasonable so we booked a flight with xl.com to fly from Birmingham.



On arrival we were picked up by the owner who took us to the apartments, which was included in the price. The apartment was new, big, clean, air conditioned and had a fantastic view over the small valley behind the apartments. As there was no bar with the apartments it was lovely and quiet although there is a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sun beds, just what you need in a holiday.



If you do want bars or restaurants they are only a 20 minute walk away. For those who do not like to walk the bus stop is a 3 minutes walk from the apartments, and you can choose to go into town (around 20 minutes) or to Koukounaries (about 20 minutes). As you can tell pretty central to discover the rest of Skiathos Island.



We will go back in 2007 after such a fabulous time.
