just returned from our first visit to Portugal. The apartments are spotless the pool area is very clean with plenty of sunbeds, you can get nice meals at the poolbar with good friendly staff who are forever cleaning. The apartments are a short stroll to the Strip and if you turn right out of the apartments and walk for 500 metres you will find nice quieter bars and restaurants. i can honestly say that these apartments are one of the best i have stayed in and would not hesitate in staying again.A credit to Travel Republic

Upon arriving at these apartments my girlfriend and I had a little panic as the reception is not open after 7pm, so we thought we was unable to get into our room. After a few minutes of panic, and going to the bar next door we realised there was an emergency number to call on the door, but there was no area code so ring that number (The Area code is 00 351). Bruno who answered speaks very good English and was very helpful and explained where he had hidden the key.



After we got into the apartments I was very impressed they were spacious clean and very tidy. The maids were friendly and came everyday with fresh towels and sheets apart from Sundays. The pool was a good size and had a pool bar which served a good pint as well as good food which was a good price too. Sun beds were free and also provided is a comfort mat to use on top of the beds which are also free.



I would recommend these apartments to anyone who likes both sides to a holiday, if you want a nice relaxed atmosphere it’s only a 15 – 20 min walk to the old town which offers endless bars and restaurants as well as some good entertainment. The main nightlife strip is only a 5 min walk at most. This offers all the usual scene restaurants, bars and clubs which most are open till 3 or 4 in the morning and with some good offers in some.



As an overview I would definitely return to these apartments and area again. I would recommend these apartments to anyone traveling to Albuferia.

Really nice, very clean apartments. Friendly staff. Great Location 5 mins walk to supermarket. 10 minutes to the Strip, 15 minutes from beach. Festa Da Praia Restaurant nearby is fantastic with great food at good prices and the staff are lovely.

Just returned from a two week stay in these apartments, absolutely wonderful and i do not have one bad word to say about these apartments. Once we arrived we thought we were in the middle of nowhere, it is that quiet and there isnt realy much on the road, but literally a 2-5min walk is the strip bustling with restaurants, shops etc. The beach can be accessed by 2/3 nearby entrances all within a 10min walk. Old town is lovely and offers a different night out to the strip.



The apartment was cleaned everyday except sunday in our case, clean towels changed everyday and bed linen frequently. couldnt have asked for friendlier more helpful staff. i would definately recommend.



As a young couple it was perfect for us and we will be returning in the near future we hope.

Not a single complaint - the staff were fab, extremely clean and tidy and a fantastic location. Reasonably priced too.



The resort is the only place that I have ever thought I would love to actually come here again and again. There is a mix for everyone. The old town is fun and relaxed and the new town is busy and not full of young kids either.



I was on a girls holiday and never once felt unsafe.

This is by far the best accomadation you can get the staff are so friendly and helpful I would like to say a big thank you and missing you all to all the staff Marta,Bruno,cecelia,ibilio and christina. I have been here several times already and will be returning frequently as is possible it is 5 minute walk to the strip and only 10 mintes from beach.

there is also a cafe next door which you never find closed day or night great for snacks or a drink anytime of the day or night.

i recomend these apartments very highly we stayed for 2 weeks had maid service every day the staff could not do enough to be more friendly and helpful the place is spotless as for feeling safe we have never felt safer we ar now looking forward to going back in2008 as this is a great place to stay as it close to all the amenaties and has every thing to offer for the best holiday you can have

Having just returned from a week spent at Sereia Da Oura Apartments I can't speak highly enough of the whole set-up. The location is good - as others have said very well placed for the Old Town and The Strip, with a 5 minute walk from a well stocked mini supermarket and excellent coffee shop. The staff were delightful - very friendly and helpful. The 1-bedroom apartment was spotless, with regular change of linen throughout the week. The sofa bed was very easy to use, good size double and extremely comfortable. The service was overall excellent. Only thing missing was a kettle, which was no hardship with a large pan to boil water instead. New pool - very nice - plus loungers etc. available. I would have no hesitation in both re-visiting myself and recommending to others.

Having just arrived back from a six night stay in these apartments I have to say how wonderful, clean and well equipped the apartments are. The maid service was immaculate; the location was perfect (one way for bars and nightlife on the strip, the other way for the old town and its tavernas.) Both within easy walking distance, and the beautiful beach was just around the corner.



Only one criticism is the reception on the TV was poor for the only English Channel (CNN news) but hey you do not go on holiday to watch TV. Equipped with a comfortable double bedroom with enough wardrobe space for a family of six. A lovely though slightly dated, clean bathroom, two double sofa beds that were a doddle to use, dining table and a very clean well equipped kitchen, had full oven and hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer even a washing machine.



One word of warning, if you use the coffee maker/kettle or toaster make sure you plug the hot water tank back in or you end up with a cold wash/shower in the morning.



Reception staff were brilliant, arranged cheap airport transfers for us and were fantastic.



Without a doubt my wife and I will return to the same apartments next year, probably twice as they are such good value.

We got back 2 weeks ago from a family holiday to these apartments and had to write a review because we were dreading going after the reports I had read.



We decided to leave all our jewellery and valuables at home because of the muggings I had read about but I have to say I have never felt anywhere safer while on holiday.

The apartments were clean and tidy, the maids came most days to change the towels and sweep around.



The people who ran the reception and the bar couldn’t do enough to help us and were very friendly even had the patience to help us learn to speak Portuguese.



All the bars and shops were only a 5 minute walk around the corner and the old town was about a 15 min walk the other way.



The only complaint was the pool was cold but we got used to it after a couple of days.



All in all a fantastic holiday for 5 adults and for 4 children would definitely go back again.

That M O'Brien must have stayed at a different place. We've been to these apartments 3 times so far and are going again in October. They were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff are always very helpful and we'd recommend the apartments to anyone. Very good value for money.



The apartments are in a quiet location but only minutes from anything you might need; supermarket, shops, beach and the strip, where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars. A visit to the old town of Albufeira is worthwhile too.

These apartments are horrible. They are very, very dirty with paint peeling on all the walls, mould in every corner, rust on all metal objects, the dirt was everywhere.



We arrived at 10:00am on the Saturday morning, to see that the pictures on the internet are nothing compared to the actual apartments. We had to wait until 12:30 as we were told that our apartment was being cleaned! There is no secure room to put suitcases we were told to leave them in a corner in the reception!



After complaining about the dirt of the reception to our holiday rep and the receptionist we went to look for another apartment without luck, we returned to the apartments at about 12:00pm and got the key to our room at 12:30. Why we were left waiting god only knows as the dirt in the room was worse than the reception. There was smoke burns on our bed and a big whole in the middle of it, the other pull out bed was very hard to try to open and close.



The only blankets we got were dirty, shabby, and very heavy woolen blankets! There was cracks on all the tiles with dirt embedded in them etc. Anyway after complaining to our rep the following day we were told we'd just have to make do, the receptionist was not happy about our complaints!

These apartments were very airy, clean and well furnished, the only problem we had on our 2 week stay was the kids got a rash when playing in the pool, location was perfect with a 5 minute walk to the supermarket, 10 minute walk to the strip, try coconuts it’s a great pub for kids with plenty of entertainment, I booked this holiday for myself and another 4 families and everyone of us had a great time, so much so that my own kids don’t want to go back to Florida.

Arrived late Saturday night (11.45pm) after a 3hr delay and staff was waiting for us to show us our room even though they supposed to finish at 7 pm.



Room was clean big enough for four and on ground floor which was a bonus as I could sit on the sofa and watch the kids in the pool as it was right outside my door (5 steps away), the kitchen was with fitted cupboards ,full size cooker,coffee maker, toaster and wait for it yes I had a washing machine although the studios didn’t have one but all one bed apartments had one also got iron and ironing board cant beat that can ya ?



Cleaners didn’t turn up very often but you only had to tell reception and they sent them same day same with the towels just ask and you shall receive!



Swimming pool was as said on the web site small but big enough for the kids to have fun in, the snack bar never opened but he owned the bar at the front of the building so you just went round there.



The strip was a 10 minute walk away and the beach about 15 mins, I wouldn’t say this resort was ideal for people with kids it seems more for adults but if you look hard enough there were bars with entertainment for kids like Father Eds at the top of the strip and coconuts also lovely British pub in a back street called nags head, full English for 3 euros and meals not badly priced but most of them with chips.



All in all a damn good holiday and apartments well worth the money I would recommend them
