This hotel was really good and yes i would again.I read the reviews before going and was dreading our 10 days there. But we had no worries at all.On arrival which was a day early and at 2.30 in the morning(thanks to having to find other flights after our orignals went bankrupt)we had booked 2 rooms but under the circumstances we were given 1,which at that time of night and all the travelling who cared. The next day the other room was ready but on the other side of the hotel but they went to a lot of trouble to put us next to each other, which happened the following day.As for the rooms they were up to date and spotless, our room was cleaned 4 times and everytime we had clean towels. The food was really good and all set out as a buffet,it was hard to pick what to have for breakfast even the fussest person couldnt fault it,for tea if your a meat eater you have no worries but if not there was salad and if u picked around a bit u could make a decent meal, there was fresh bread and rolls and plenty of nice desserts. The pool was clean and plenty big enough as the beach was less than 5 mins away there was always plenty of space.Dont read anymore reviews make up your mind when you get there, for a budget hotel you couldnt ask for better
- Advice: great beach and plenty of great places to visit
- Activities: loro parque, see killer whales and get wet, plenty to do and see

We arrived late August. the hotel room was nice and clean and had everything you could require, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaners were always helpful and very friendly.
The first meal we had was breakfast and it was ok there was a good selction of hot and cold food as well as drinks. The evening meals were everything you could ask for, they had lots of flavor and again had a great selection of hot and cold food, we cannot understand why some of the reviews insult the food. The waiters and waitresses were extremely helpful assisting us anyway they could.
The pool and pool side bar were perfect, we cannot pick any fault, the pool was a good size, there were always sun lounges available at anytime of the day and the pool was nice and clean. The bar staff were amazing and always trying to assist and make sure we never went thirsty as well as always trying to engage in conversation.
The location of the hotel is perfect as its 2 min walk to los Christiano's beach and 5 min walk to las Americas beach, the area was quiet at night and never had any bother with noise.
It had everything you could require for a family, groups of friends and a young couple as we are. We met many people there young and old and the atmosphere around the hotel is very good.
After reading some reviews on this hotel we were a bit cautious but once we arrived we realised some people just cannot be pleased. We are already discussing when we are next going back.
We would like to say thank you to Udalla Park.

udalla is a small complex we stayed for 2 weeks apts in need of upgrade especially bathrooms and kitchenette very minimal equipment we stayed half board food was not really upto much but staff very friendly and you could always get a sunbed drinks cheap at pool bar if staying try to get in apts away from main road as if on low floor it didnt feel safe to leave patio doors open and it could be noisy from traffic. but to sum up probally would recommend self catering its about 15 min stroll to veronicas but lots of bars restaurants around

DON'T GO, DON'T GO
I went to Udalla Park Half board and it was disgusting. There is works going on from 7.30am till 5pm, no breaks. I mean full fledged drilling, cutting tiles with machines, hammering the works. The workman have their music on full blast so that you cannot hear each other speak at poolside two floors lower than the work. I took photographs if anyone wants to see them.
At no point was I advised that there would be works going on and it was not on the website or Travel Republic did not tell me and I was on the phone to them whilst I booked the holiday.
The Food was amazingly bad. Not one night could I stay and eat at the hotel. The food had been under the lights that long that it all had a had dark crust on top, not the you knew what it was anyway. Breakfast - Wow, I mean who puts cheese in scrambled eggs they tasted rank.
The Bar - Everynight I went to the bar to buy a coffee. Everynight I had to search the hotel for someone to serve me at the bar was always empty. Do not try to get served after 9pm nobody will help you, they turn all the machines off then.
They say on the webite that they have Sat TV, they do but nothing in English.
The first person I spoke to in the hotel told me not to eat the food (Scottish couple).
The staff would have moved me if I was with a big tour operator but I wasn't.

I went to The Udalla Park apartments with 3 friends.
The apartments are based in quite a good location with plenty of shops nearby and the beach about a 10 minute walk away. Upon arriving at Udalla Park it became apparent that the hotel manager really took to us. Within 2 hours of arriving he was outside on the street shouting at us on the balcony demanding that we came downstairs and have a drink with him. On one occasion also he was kind enough to go to our room at 5:30am to keep one of our friends company.
Our favorite member of staff though was Pilar who is just an absolute legend and probably the best human ever created. She is a role model for all Pugs.
Next door to the Udalla is a small shop. I say small i mean this shop is the smallest shop ever built. If a customer wants to go in the shop the lovely Bulgarian woman with great banter has to leave in order for the customer to fit inside. Opposite the Udalla is an Italian restaurant where Diego works with his Dad. Diego does not enjoy lads banter but does offer free lefts into town at the expense of his Dad's wing mirror.
I can't comment of breakfast as i was always too steaming at this time of day to eat. The dinner in the evening was bland and stinky but it did fill a hole.
Upon informing the lady at reception on the last night that i was leaving in the morning she raised her arms in the air and shouted "bien!" which i assume means she was devastated about our departure. Overall i would say that the Udalla is well worth visiting just to meet some of the characters that work there although if you can get any other hotel then do.

Hello, myself and 2 others stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel food wasn't especially brilliant as one person in our party was a vegetarian but there is some brilliant resturants near by thats cheap (I was recommended by the bar tender the pizzaria just a few buildings down which was lush!).
The staff are really kind and very helpful and seemed as if they went out of there way to get to know you which was really nice!
It's in a really good location not far from a nice beach, good resturants and not far from the party strip. I would stay at this hotel again but probably go self catering (we seemed to over sleep breakfast a lot!).
I would recommend this hotel for people around my age (20) who like to party but do like some quiet time!
p.s. thank you very much to the receptionist and the bar tender!!

We arrived at the hotel 2 hours before check in expected, to be told no room but gave us one straight away and we were given a drink while sorting paperwork out. The staff were very friendly. We did ask to be put in a quiet part but they said were very busy. We had two rooms for the 6 of us. We waited another hour for the second one which was good considering we were early.
Both rooms exactly the same but things broken i.e. radio and shutter to pull down to hide kitchen. We weren't bothered don’t want either. TV is a euro for 2 hours on channel 6 they put DVDs on, mainly children’s ones in English so when we were in the apartment the kids were always kept occupied. The beds were comfy and quite wide for a single bed. The bedding was changed twice in the fortnight we were there. The rooms cleaned every other day except Sundays. If you don’t want this then there is a do no disturb card to stick on door.
Everything was clean couldn’t fault how much they cleaned. I watched one cleaner clean the floor outside the rooms 3 times!!! At night it did get hot and with no air conditioning was bad but you could hire a fan but cheaper buying one in the electrical store just left down the road. The local supermarket is also left down the road.
Very cheap and lovely food. We were half board breakfast was ok plenty of choice and an English breakfast. Evening meal well was ok but it was always chicken, rabbit, fish, veal, sometimes pork and pork chops. Its chips every night, pasta or rice. If I ever see a chip again it will be too soon! Food was ok but got boring.
The staff very nice always joked with kids. Drinks more expensive than bars outside but hotels always expensive. The entertainment was good we went to two bird shows and the snake show. My daughter got her picture taken with the snake for free as she got picked to hold the snakes. The bird shows were good to, kids loved it. They put the birds on the kid’s heads at the bird show so everyone got involved. You could get your picture taken for 15 euros.
The bus to Jungle Park is just down the road to your left outside Tenerife Princess. Go in McDonalds first as they give you a better discount voucher than anywhere else for Jungle Park. Instead of one child free per two paying adults it was one child free per one adult. Beware of time-share if you tell them you already have one they leave you alone. They always target at least one man and one woman. I was with my parents and my 3 children I made my dad walk on his own most of the time and we never got bugged!
Hotel was noisy at night until about 1am after a while you got use to it. Only thing annoyed me was the Italians staying there came in at 4 and ran up and down outside the rooms messing around and being sick. However I do realize they are on holiday to so you got to expect some give and take. When we went down to breakfast each morning we went past they rooms making lots of noise!
Pool was really great I always saw them either morning or night cleaning it. Always enough sunbeds for us all and umbrellas. I used laundrette twice cost me 3 euros plus you can buy washing tablets in local supermarket for around 80 cent for about 6 and they smell like Ariel! This is not bad it’s only over 50 pence. Washing machine fits loads in. Two lines on balcony not enough I just stuck clothes on table and chairs it all dries quick anyway.
Hotel very secure all fenced in only way in was past reception and they did ask for the card you get when you first get there to prove who you are. Mainly this was at night not during the day. But I felt safe letting the kids play around with pool only guests can use it not people off the street sneaking in.
Overall I thought for the money this hotel was fine. Fair enough food wasn’t fantastic but there was always something to eat. I liked breakfast better proper pork sausages, streaky bacon, either scrambled or fried egg (every other day) grilled tomato, and then just toast some bread. Brown was like home, white was sweet but it usually is abroad anyway.
We didn’t get anything crawl into our rooms even though it was peek season. I rarely saw anything while I was in Tenerife the two weeks. Rooms do need updating but as long as bed is comfy and you can chill stuff in fridge, and bathroom clean I couldn’t care less about decoration. We had a great holiday in Tenerife, very cheap great beaches, nice people, what more do you want?

From arrival the reception staff although mainly Spanish speaking were able to understand me and my friends, were helpful and courteous. They certainly spoke more English than I or others spoke Spanish which other reviewers seem to forget.
The rooms were basic and although were in need of updating were clean, in order and of a good size for studio apartments. I am 6, 5" ft and even I could fit easily on the beds.
The rooms had clean bathrooms with showers and even had small kitchenettes with hobs and fridge what else do you need.
The cleaners were on time and did a good job of sorting our rooms out.
The pool was clean and although a little chilly on entry soon warmed up and the area around the pool was well looked after, with plenty of beds and padding to stop you sticking to the plastic like I have done in many more expensive establishments.
On the down side the food was basic and at one point I thought I may turn into a pasta shell if I ate any more, but despite the limited selection the food was what was to be expected of paying so little for the rooms. I never went hungry and the staff were friendly taking plates away as soon as you finished.
In summary this holiday was the cheapest I have ever had. for the money (190) quid for a week h/b.
I would recommend it because to be honest how long do you actually stay in the hotel when there is so much on offer in the resort a short taxi ride away. Somewhere to get your head down get fed and lie by a pool.

Good location for beach and local shops. However, apartments very basic.
No kettle in apartment and our room balcony looked onto a busy road. Would not class this accommodation as a 3*.
However, we could have put up with the apartments if it wasn’t for the food.
Food inedible for British tourists. Bread stale, nothing fresh to eat, absolutely terrible, had to eat out every day.
So if going here would advise not to go half board as complete waste of money.

We had been assured that the apartment was suited to our needs and those of our disabled daughter - not true.
There were six steps in the foyer before we could even access the choice of 2 rickety lifts that would convey us to our 1st floor apartment.
What joy when we entered that - more steps from one level to another.
A pull-out bed with half the slats missing stained sheets, rock hard beds giving me worse back ache than I normally suffer from, foreign TV that didn't work properly and had to be paid for.
We didn't even have sufficient hot water for the 4 of us to shower in each night. There was nowhere to store the suitcases.
The quality of the restaurant food did not justify the exorbitant price we had paid for the dubious privilege of staying on a half-board basis - cold, rubbery scrambled egg, mouldy fruit, a limited choice of reheated pasta and fish dishes and poorly cooked bacon.
Consequently we ate out every night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get backache and just basically slum it for a week or two.

When I stayed at Udalla Park I thought that the hotel was a complete nightmare the people at the reception couldn’t understand or speak any English and were not at all help full. The food was awful and had I had to visit the toilet more than I went to the pool! The pool was filthy and there were not enough beds to accommodate all the people staying at the hotel, the pools side bar? What can I say?
The staff were friendly and the measures were brilliant but the smell of sick turned everyone away. Now I talk of the room! We were lucky we had a top floor room with a lovely terrace but I don’t think that this makes up for the wires hanging out of the wall, when we looked under the hob we were nearly electrocuted, the freezer desperately needed to be defrosted and the fridge had grown mould, the bath was full of chippings and the toilet was broken and the shower was more like a hose pipe attached to the wall.
Also the plug sockets were falling of the wall, other than the disappointment of the hotel and the time I spent on the loo I had a good holiday.
I would not recommend this hotel to English couples or English families.

louise & Majella from Derry march 2011
we stayed in the udalla apt for 1 week at the start of March 2011. overall they are basic, bathroom decent enough but kitchen area not great no kettle which was a bit of a nitemare, only got towels changed once which wasn't great. Also a brush & mop would have came in handy to tidy up the aprt on a daily basis as they werent cleaned that i am aware of during our stay there. on the plus side the pool was good quiet and always got a sunbed and the staff were friendly and spoke really good English. good location and easy assessible to everything you would need re bars & restaurants, supermarket.
would stay again for the money.
