Stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights with my husband and a couple of friends. The hotel was very clean both in the room and reception areas etc. The room had THE most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in, and we had 3 great nights sleep - the bath was a bit dark but you don't live in the bath. Staff were very helpful giving us advice on tourist buses, taxis etc. We didn't use the bar or restaurant so I can't comment on those but they looked fine.
Overall the hotel is very nice but is in the business district of Barcelona and is a little out of the main areas, if I was staying again I would look for a hotel in either the Port area or Baria Gothic area as both are good areas and very central. Watch out on the Las Ramblas area, by day its a pick pockets paradise and by night it becomes very seedy with lots of "ladies of the night" looking for business. The tourist buses are a great way of seeing everything in a weekend but they can get very busy. We read how Barcelona is one of the most expensive cities, but we thought it was great value for money, if you stay off the main tourist areas. A most enjoyable weekend!

Clean Hotel. Pool lovely, beach even better - clear waters, and if you take bread into the sea you can feed the fish as you swim!
Rooms, very clean and comfortable - aircon very effective - but a bit noisy - we didn't need it on overnight as it cooled the room down sufficiently in the evening. Beds not brilliant, but that did not spoil our break.
Food is EXCELLENT! Brilliant choice for grownups and children - just don't be on a diet!
Drinks in the hotel and very expensive - but they don't mind you bringing stuff to your room from the spar shop down the road.
We also explored the caves in San Miguel which was a lovely morning out.
If you have kids who love organised activites - the kids clubs are great and well organised. Evening entertainment Butlins-esque, yet enjoyable once or twice in a week.
A relaxing holiday, with no rowdy groups or disruptive behaviour.
