Marina Apartments

I have to say we weren't expecting much from the apartment as it was only a 2 star so we were very pleasantly surprised. It was definitely more like a 3/4 star. There was a lounge/diner, separate kitchen, decent bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The balcony was excellent and we had an amazing view of the Sagrada Familia. Our apartment was very comfortable and as it was at the back it was very quiet even though it was Easter week. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of it. There was a large supermarket on the nearby corner with fresh food including croissants and pastries. People at Reception were very helpful. Nearest metro only a short walk away and it was great to be so near to the Sagrada Familia.

We stayed here for three nights with our eighteenth month old son after reading the reviews about the apartments on here and were overall pretty pleased. The apartment is basic but has all the nescesary eqipment that you might need for a short stay (except for a kettle !). and is in a good location although is quite a walk from the las Rambla but near to both the subway and the hop on hop off tour bus. Booked the apartment through Midashotels, we were looking for an apartment with two bedrooms for four adults. These apartments were very reasonable and in a great location round the corner from La Sagrada Família - the famous "Church of the Holy Family". Apartments have a reception area so if you have any problems at all you can see the person on the reception desk. We booked this apartment through Booking.Com which, as usual, was very easy. We took a taxi from the Airport (28 euros plus tip out-31 plus tip back as it was early morning) you can get the Eurobus which is a lot cheaper but we didn't want the hastle as the taxis are right outside the airport. The apartment was excellent - plenty of room - clean and tidy and with a dishwasher in the kitchen so you don't have to wash up girls!! Apartments Marina were clean, spacious and well equipped. This apartment is ran more like a hotel, there is an elevator in the building, the building looks very modern, you have a front desk 24hr. security that also helps you in your daily planning if needed. The bedrooms are medium in their size and the bathroom was large and modern. You had a nice sitting area with an eating area off of that. You had a full size kitchen that was clean and modern. The refrigerator did come stocked with drinks but you paid for them like a hotel mini bar.... more

My husband and I recently returned from our vacation in Barcelona with our 16-month old daughter. We were very pleased with our stay at the Apartaments Marina. We stayed in a 2-BR apartment that was the perfect size for our small family. It was very convenient to have a clean kitchen with upgraded appliances and decent supplies. My wife and I stayed here early Oct of 06. I used TripAdvisor to research this place and was a bit worried if it would be ok. I turned out to be a great decision. It tuely is an apartment with all the amenities. Two bedrooms, although we only used one. Complete kitchen facilities. Comfy livingroom, and what we always love, a balcony. Fantastic appartments situated next door to late night supermarket which proved very useful. Very friendly staff and good location to Metro, Tour Bus etc.

This very clean, new, and modern apartment hotel is located two blocks from the famous Sagrada Familia church and the Metro station in a quiet residential neighborhood. Barcelona's famous La Ramlas is about 15 minutes away by subway. If you're more adventurous, you can walk there in about an hour.
