We stayed at the Cuidad Blanca on a half board basis as a family of four including two teenagers. The half board allowed us to eat a huge breakfast and an evening meal, each being presented as a self service buffet which catered for the tastes of all nationalities. We were all very impressed with the quality and variety of the food, you could eat as much as you wanted (unfortunately, I did!!).
The room/flat we stayed in was very clean and tidy with loads of storage. There was a kitchenette area with a fridge and basic cooker; a spacious lounge with two sofas; a tiled bathroom with an over bath shower; there were two bedrooms, be aware they consisted of a twin and a single, the fourth and/or fifth family member slept on a well sized couch in the living room (which was as big as the beds and did the job). Our room/flat backed onto a roundabout on the main road to the rear of the hotel and was a little noisy at night. The spacious balcony overlooked the beach and the sea.
The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, that goes for the reception, restaurant, cleaning and entertainment staff. Each night there is a show, which we found entertaining. We were impressed just how hard all the staff worked and maintained a smile and a friendly word. This was exampled when the head waiter walked past as we waited for our transfer to the airport, he stopped, waved good bye and had a kind word- he didn’t have to do that.
We didn’t use the pools much, owing to the draw of the beach, however, they were always clean. There are two, a centrally located childrens pool and a deeper pool within the complex. The entertainment staff ran aquarobics during the day.
The hotel is very well located immediately adjacent to Alcudia beach. Behind the hotel there is the third centre of Alcudia, ‘The Beach’ with shops, restaurants and a bar area, be rest assured this isn’t a revellers scene. It takes a 15-20min walk along the beach to Alcudia Port, the walled town is a further 10-15min walk beyond. All three centres are worth a visit.
The beach is cleaned daily with plenty of beach beds or space to place your towel. The water is really warm and has a long 25-30 mtr safe paddle-able depth before it gradually deepens. The wind is invariably still in the morning and builds during the day to a 12-15 knot refreshingly, cooling breeze. There are plenty on beach bars and water based activities such as sailing, speed boat towed inflatables and parasailing.
Would we go to this hotel again? OH, YES DEFINATELY! We all gained what we wanted; relaxation, activities, sun, sea & food. A really good hotel and well worth staying at.

Just back from a 10 day all-inclisive break-myself, husband and children 16 yrs and 13 yrs.Resort is excellent location - in middle of town and on the beach. Pools were a bit busy so we went to beach every day - sand lovely, water shallow and warm, lovely breeze and peace and quiet even although there was plenty going on - watersports (bananna boat, jet ski etc.) My only complaint was having to pay 9 euros for 2 beds everyday but I suppose thats the price you have to pay for a bit of privacy. Food was excellent at the hotel - wide variety to suit all cultures-my favourite night was the "seafood" night - we had lobster, caviar, scallops, mussels, king prawns etc. Accommodation was good - we were in block 2 gound floor apartment. Entertainment was OK - the holiday reps do a fab job, especially with the children. My son went to the teenage club and had a good time playing football, french bowls, archery etc. Not so much to do for my daughter but she was ok sunbathing. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider going again.

Me, my husband and 9 year old went for 10 days. It was the BEST holiday we have ever had.
The food was delicious with loads of variety at every meal. The pool bar was particularly good for lunchtime with so much choice you really didn't know what to eat, and there was a barbecue every night as well as the main restaurant so all in all it was superb.
There were 3 pools, the baby pool, the main pool which our daughter could stand in throughout. There was another pool in a different part of the hotel which went deeper but we didn't use that one. The main pool was great although a bit chilly when you first stepped in, however it was so hot that it was a welcome relief!
The hotel backed straight onto the beach and we went for a walk along the beach every morning after breakfast, the beach is beautiful with white sand and the sea slopes very gently and is very clean. It was a 15 minute walk to the marina which holds the main shopping area. It was very pleasant there.
All the hotel staff were brilliant, very friendly. The hotel entertainment was first class and the entertainment staff were so good and so friendly even though they were working for at least 12 hours a day. They took time out every evening to come and talk to you asking for your opinion, every show they did was excellent and we also had some outside entertainment on a few evenings and they were just as good. Watch out for the sketch show they put on, it is hilarious. They do a full monty sketch, this is so funny your sides will split, our daughter was screaming with laughter. They do the full strip but it's not seen, however they do reappear with the hats covering their modesty, done very well considering there are children involved. They also put on a Lion King show which was brilliant.
The hotel is not exclusively English and the staff speak several languages during the kids disco and the entertainment, however this is not a problem at all and it helps you to pick up snippets of other languages. We found all the other guests great, very friendly europeans. There were plenty of English people there too.
I can't express enough how much we enjoyed the holiday, our daughter met loads of new friends, including some foreign kids and even though they couldn't speak each others languages it didn't stop them playing together. We will definitely be going back to the hotel and would 100% recommend it as it was so relaxing, but if you wanted plenty to do then the entertainment staff had plenty for you to do.
The only downside to the holiday was Thomas Cook. We flew from Luton on a Monarch flight and one of our cases went walkies! Luckily we thought to split our clothes half and half into each case so we all had something when we got there. The Thomas Cook rep at the airport was more interested in trying to guide us to the coach rather than communicating with Iberia on our behalf to help with the lost case and was pulling at my husbands arm as he was trying to fill out a form with help from a spanish lady with limited English. The rep at the hotel was not at all surprised that the case was lost and she even said that Monarch lose at least one case from each flight. The case did turn up 2 days later, however we had to buy all new toileterries and suncreams as they were in the missing case and spent 85 euros, which we won't see again. And when the case reappeared there was a missing bikini, t-shirt, AAA batteries and wet wipes (the mind boggles!). The rep thought this was highly amusing and laughed at the last 2 items, said we could fill out a missing item form but didn't hold out much hope the things would be found. That was all the help we got with that, the reception staff in the hotel were much more helpful and sympathetic than Thomas Cook - which I think says it all.
As I say, we will definitely return to the hotel, however I think we will find an alternative travel agent to book for next year as Thomas Cook are great as long as everything goes smoothly but frankly couldn't really be bothered if you have a problem, and this is something that we have heard from others so it doesn't bode well for them.
All moaning out of the way, I have nothing but great memories other than that and wish we were still there now.

what a great holiday, food fantastic and very clean, beach lovley but beware there is a charge for the sunbeds on the beach 4.5 euros per bed for the day. Great kids club and entertainment at night was good.
THe staff were all very friendly and rooms were good and maid service daily with clean towels.
The weather can be a bit unpriedictable as it rainned all week !! and buy some mossie replent and plugs as we got bitten to death !!!.
There is also no straps on the high chairs so if you have a lively one beware !!.
we got a tranfer with ressort hoppa, would not do this again as we waited over 1 hr at the airport !! go dirct if you can.
we would definelty return.

Stayed here for 10 nights with my wife and daughter and my parents.
Found the hotel decor very smart especially the landscaping around the surrounding grounds.
The rooms were very clean and spacious and the balconies were like extra rooms.
The cleaning staff were exellent, and would go that bit extra by leaving choclates on the pillows and making swan-like shapes out of the towels, they also made a lot of fuss of my 3 year old daughter who absolutely loved the attention.
The restraunt staff were also very good, the waiters/waitresses would stop and chat aswell as doing an outstanding job in clearing tables in super fast time.
The childrens entertainers were exellent and were full of energy, from first thing in the morning when the `mini-club` started to the evening where they would finish with their stage shows.
The Food was outstanding and the variety was endless, from grill cooked steaks, fish, king prawns etc, to a choice of salads and cold meats, thats not including the cheese boards, pasta section, fruit and desert sections and so on, and if you just fancied a snack you could eat at the beach bar which would open up every lunch time and stay open until around 3-4pm, and would serve beef burgers, hot dogs, chips etc.
The Evening entertainment was good, but not always to my taste, the dancing acts were very good and also a duet act which sang hits from the past to the present were also very good, and as I said before, the childrens entertainment was exellent and my daughter loved it, she also loved the mascot for the childrens show which was a character called `SMILEY THE DOG`(we even had to buy her the stuffed toy version).
The only down side to our hols was the actual weather which saw more rain than sun, but we did not let that spoil our stay and we made the most of the excursions, which were ideal for the location of the hotel, for example we had a boat trip around the coast which picked us up within 300yards of the hotel. We had a taxi stop area by the side of the hotel which we used quite often. There were horse and traps also located at the side of the hotel and I definately recommend at least an hours trip on one, as you get to see a lot more of surrounding area than you would in a taxi. The sunday market is also a must.
Will definately be going back to this hotel next year.
