Although this was not our first visit to Sunny Beach (we went last year) it's the first time we have been self catering. My wife and I were extremely happy with the standard of accommodation and felt that it was not only better value than a package holiday in a hotel but better quality than the so called 4 star hotel we stayed in last year!
We couldn’t fault the apartment itself as it had everything we needed and was very comfortably furnished. The complex seemed brand new (someone round the pool told us it had only been open a few months) which meant that it wasn't full so getting a sun longer wasn’t a battle! The were cleaners working throughout the complex for what seemed like most of the day so it was clean and tidy.
The location was brilliant - 5 minutes to the beach or Aquapark and about a 10 min walk to the central main drag. The place itself although close to everything wasn't noisy at all. If we had any criticism it was the fact that the Cafe Bar sold only Drinks and limited snacks - we felt a more substantial menu would have been better although to be fair there were numerous restaurants and cafes only a few minutes walk away.
Also nearby we noticed a Medical Centre (open 24 hours) Pharmacy and Bank - fortunately we only needed the latter for cashing travelers cheques! Overall we were very happy with our choice and are considering returning next year.
