just come back from yet another great hol at thr Yuvam and already looking forward to going back next year.
Staff were just as friendly as last time, Oktay (Daniel),Mehmet,Ozzie,Ali and all the others (even Antonio lol) were full of fun and always eager to please. Dont know were they get their energy from (especially Mehmet).
Food was delicious we tried everything on the menu.
Beach was spotless, so were the rooms (there were 10 of us)
The owner of this hotel should be very proud of his staff and i hope he looks after them and keeps them happy (the place would not be the same without them.
See you all next year xx

It was my first time in marmaris and my first impressions of the place couldnt be worse. 5am, hot and sticky with stray dogs running around the streets. After a long bus journey we dragged our cases into the hotel and expected the worse The moment the sun rose it was like something ive never experienced before, totally breathtaking. The beach only inches away, with food and drink served straight from the kitchen, whats better than lazing with your toes in the sea whilst grasping a cold pint and the sun beating off your skin. the staff: a bunch of down to earth lads willing to put their back out the moment you click a finger. Pool, beach or room, you can get food and drink brought to you which i quite liked. the only thing i would say, like most others, is that if the staff know you arent eating at their hotel they will try and persuade you. However being a group of big lads we didnt feel that they were of any annoyance. the staff have their own dance routine and are very lively when the night begins. The room: not the best room in the world but it had what you needed, which is perfect for a lads holiday, nice bathroom with large shower and mirror, 3 beds with more than enough storage space. the balcony was rather small and didnt have a sea view but we still crammed onto it anyway every morning at 5am to watch the sun come up drinking sex on the beach :D entertainment: music played every night, from cheesy classics to rnb and dance. on certain nights you can expect to see breakdancing, belly dancing and a few other acts which rotate round the hotels pool and beach area: the pool is very quiet and shady with poolside bar although this wasnt in use during our stay. loungers are dotted around the pool with high walls, good for sleeping on during the day. the beach, like the rest in marmaris, is small, sharp and very hot. the yuvam beach is right next to the 5 star hotel jetty which plays loud music throughout the day. overall im giving yuvam a 9 as it is next to perfect for a lads holiday. I would go back here again without a doubt and seriously reccomend any other 18-30 young groups to go.

Ok guys, the positives first...
Hotel is basic, but it has everything [minus a much needed fridge] that you need. room is cleaned every day
Pool is small, but secluded and quiet...
Weather is fantastic, just come back yesterday and at night alone it was 29 degrees!!!!!
Boat trips to mud baths, Rhodes etc are around £20 if you haggle them down...great day out, lunch included, great way to get a tan and a nice breeze.
Icemeler market on Wednesday is good, but really really hot, and to be honest just sells loads and loads of bags, t shirts...things that can be bought in the millions of shops in marmaris....
fab views of the sea and mountains
Now the not so postive
Waiters are "friendly", and I got on well with most of them, but a little too much of cracking on to the ladies [myself included]..some of the stories some of the staff told me about the girls they "show around town" disappointed me...and I was given the cold shoulder by one of them because I wouldn't go out with him.....
Its not cheap here anymore - hotel charge 5 lira for a coffee or 7 lira for a beer..so same as UK really...
food ok at hotel, I was B&B but the people I was with were HB, said the menu was very limited..and the staff don't really like it if you go elsewhere to eat or drink..
Not allowed food and drink from outside in hotel
Had to pay 70 lira {around £35} for a weeks' air con [and believe me it is a CON}..i thought that was outrageous...but you really need it...
28 lira to use the safe...
I am really sorry if this bursts a few bubbles and comes across as so negative..i guess it depends on what you are looking for..and for me this wasn't it....Marmaris is English breakfast and roast beef dinner territory..head to Icemeler or further afield if you can stand the heat to get a taste of the more authentic...
and to finish, jaws dropped when we got to the airport last nt, and felt a bit peckish after the long transfer to airport..fast food joints {pizza hut, macdonalds, kfc} wanted 22 lira for a meal...... £11.00!!!!!!!!......not so much of a "happy meal" eh......

The only reason this hotel gets a 7/10 is that our room was not cleaned as well as it could have been, under our dresser was not cleaned the whole holiday as ths same bit of fluff was there the whole time. In saying that other couples we spoke to said there rooms were cleaned well so it may just have been our floor. The staff are excellent. Ozzy, Daniel, Mehmet and the rest were friendly and just a great laugh.
The breakfast included with the room was not great, but the food in general at the hotel was excellent.
if you go speak to ozzy and order the salt baked sea bass, this is a show not to be missed. and the flavour of the fish was just to die for.
You simply can not get any better than beach bar service straight to your sun lounger. Mehmet it the man for this. This guy works like a trojan. As do all the rest.
There are plenty of restaurants along the front, however the enteraintment in most of the bars is dated to say the least. With breakdance shows, and M.Jackson, and T.Tuner shows straight out of the 1980s.
This in its self would not be all that bad if every other bar had something different but alas this is not the case.
A Few good choices is Faros bros, Captains Bar, and Turtle Bar are all excellent. "Captains Bar" is like a bar back home, it has a nice home feel to it without feeling like your in a bar back home.
We will be back. however word of warning if you are booking a Late check out, then check with the recpetion as soon as you arrive. as some tour operators are not fowrading this on to the hotel and you may have to check out earlier then you thought.

Just returned from our 2nd two weeks this year in the Yuvam, we were there in May too.
Situated right on the beach front and within a few minutes stroll to some excellent nightlife! The views are spectacular.
Rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels and bed linen are replaced everyday too.
The staff remembers us every time we go, and are there with hugs and kisses on arrival and departure. The owners even stayed up until 2 am to wish us a safe journey and again hugs and kisses too.
The staff.....well what can I say....the most friendly people I have ever met, they just can’t do enough for you. To mention but a few ....Samet, Ugur, Uhmat, Antonio, Mehmet, Ozzy, DJ the list is endless. The same people from England seem to be there each time we go too, so friendships are built and last until the next time we go!
When we were there in May it was my birthday, and the staff, Spikey, John, Antonio and the gang got me a birthday cake, had balloons hanging over a designated table and even had a vase with roses in for me, it was a really special night! (they even got everyone to sing happy birthday to me!)
Some excellent restaurants are Irem in the main shopping street, Faros just a couple of steps away. Bars have got to be Cream, Captains Bar and Bar X.
You just have to go and try this hotel! You will return, just like us!

It was our first time in Marmaris and our last. It was late August and very hot.
I usually go to Santa Ponsa and I never have such bother with men. I travelled with my three young daughters at 19, 15 and 14. I found it clean and basic. Food was nice and staff were helpful.
The nightlife wasn’t very interesting as it was repetitive and just men dancing. But the younger boy at 7 was very good. The owners were lovely and sociable. Even though they lacked in English.
My only problem with the hotel was I found a young waiter at 19 was hanging over my 19 year old daughter. I was warned about Turkish men before I went, the boy was sending flirty and dirty messages to her and I complained as I was insulted that my daughter was bothered through her journey.
Foreign men these days!! I was disappointed at the hotel. Will not be returning to Marmaris. What a disgraceful place.
I do not blame the hotel entirely - the older staff and bar staff were very friendly.

I totally disagree with the first review that has been posted. Myself and my friend booked a holiday 3 weeks before we went and didn't know what to expect.
When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff and shown to our room which we were very impressed with. As it was the middle of the night, we didn't quite know what to expect of the view but when the sun rose, we realised we were very lucky. As we walked out onto our balcony, we had one of the rooms at the front of the hotel which gave us a view right around the bay which I was very happy with.
The rooms were large and spacious and always kept very clean. Depending on when you go on holiday, it may be compulsory to get air conditioning as it can be very hot, the hotel does offer it but it costs £20 a week! I went there mid august and didn't have a problem sleeping at night although when I woke up in the morning I was always sweating as the sun would be shining into our room.
The staff at the hotel are amazing and are very friendly and welcoming. They are always eager to please and are game for a laugh. They try and get everyone involved in the entertainment in the evening by trying to get them up to dance and have a good time.
As I said, I do not agree with the first comment that has been posted and would recommend to anyone that this is a very nice hotel to stay and I for one, will be visiting again next year.

Well i strongly disagree with 1st review we had a great holiday.
The food was amazing (breakfast could be a bit boring but could order from separate menu and that was lovely). We had a seafront view which was gorgeous.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, always going out there way to help you, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned every day.
It was just a fantastic holiday so much so we're going back in sept 07 and i cant wait. I would recommend this hotel to anyone our age ranged from 25-50.

We have been going to the Yuvam Hotel since it opened every year (sometimes twice a year)for the last 14years.
The Keles family are like my family and treat us as their family(best in the world)will do everything to make sure you enjoy your holiday.Every member of the family try to make sure their guests enjoy their stay.they also make sure that the staff they employ treat their guests as special. We would highly recommend this Hotel to all young & old.The food in this Hotel is second to none & the cleanliness is superb.Mehmet,Ali and the rest of the staff are also there to make your stay memorable. If you did happen to have a problem with anything at all then Mustafa or Hasan Kan will try and have it sorted for you.
